When a mother uses her child as a pawn to get an upper hand in a custody battle, she should immediately lose custody unless it's supervised visitation

Or father. Either parent guilty of this needs to be limited to supervised visits until the child is 18. Luckily this narcissistic POS did lose custody of her poor little daughter. Thankfully the courts got it right this time.

She also calls her “that child” a few times in the episode.
The stepmother calls her “our daughter” too. But when she says “Our daughter” I think she’s also trying to exclude Danielle as the child’s mother. Danielle needs a serious reality check and supervised visits, but they shouldn’t try to erase her from the child’s life.
Danielle needs mental help, something is very wrong with her, I wish men would stop sleeping with women who clearly need help. I hope she gets the help, so she can be a part of her daughter's life.
Notice she never takes accountability "the doctor said the Powerade would kill her" and "the lawyer told me to have the sheriff go out twice to check."

Oh my god. The saddest part is shes doing all this under the guise of "doing it for her daughter's health" which is so completely blatantly untrue. @@BeckBeckGo This is something parents on the show do a lot that makes my skin crawl. They'll call a child "MY child" instead of "our child" or "the child" basically referring to them like a possession instead of a human created by two other humans. Its a very valid reason.

I like how he says "Our daughter" each and every time. He never once says "My Daughter". But she almost every time says "My Daughter". I think there was a time or two where she says Our Daughter..but most often it was my daughter. I know this is a long time ago and one can only hope she gets/received help and doesn't have any more kids until she does. It's women like her that hurts chances for fathers to be with their kids.

Personally, I am GLAD this father now has custody of his daughter and if I were him, I would NOT be allowing this Mom to have custody restored to her. She's INSANE. Her daughter bumps her head (she's totally fine) and Mom wants to make this huge drama out of it because "her lawyer said she needed documentation". Even though the cops had ALREADY done one welfare check on the girl and determined she was completely fine.

I think he needed to get custody, but I'm also not convinced he didn't manipulate her into acting out.

She pays airfare and hotel cost for 2 hour visit.

I think she has unresolved feelings, for her daughter’s father. She is nit picking at his parenting. He was letting her know as a courtesy of the bump on her head. Her behavior cause her to loose custody of her daughter. Hopefully they can come to a common ground.
I'd ask the court to restrict visitation from her. She's insane and the child will be even more hurt by the craziness this woman is capable of.
I'm not sure how she had time to develop feelings..let alone unresolved ones being that her fathers daughter was a 1 night stand.
She became a stage 5 clinger and freaked him out when she wouldn't take the hint that it was time for her to leave. She immediately devised plans in her head about how to make her visit permanent after knowing him for less than 24 hours. I think she has far bigger issues than some unresolved feelings.
I pray that mother never get custody of that poor baby!
If she had custody, she would totally be one of those moms that insists her child is dying when she really just has a cold or a sprain, or something else common and minor. I can also see her convincing her child that she has some common mental health diagnosis that she doesn’t.

Need clarification here as to which lawyer. The Judge made a comment that she had a different lawyer every time (6 of them). Either they all dumped her or she didn't want to hear the truth.

Notice how she's very quiet and tries to act like the precious victim, but once she's caught lying suddenly the quiet doll disappears and she gets loud and forceful. This is what happens eventually to women who have nothing to offer except their looks and as a result are lacking character or personality. Looks will only get you so far.
Regardless of her culpability, Dr. Phil IS being unfair here. She needed a report. She calls the sheriff for one. He says there is no report and he has to go back out to make one. (Two lies to her right there). She asks him to go back out. He probably says there's no need. So she puts some pressure on, citing natasha richardson's walk and die syndrome. So Dr. Phil makes her look crazy by repeating 'natasha richardson' over and over, and the father jumps on the bandwagon. She was not sharp enough, or maybe she was just too tired at that point, to pick up on it. Yes, she's problematic, but there's unnecessary logical fallacy all over this.
Thank God the child was removed from her care.
