@Lauren Nope she won't. She's acting like someone with a personality disorder. Most people with personality disorders are stuck with them for life unless they develop some insight, or burn out -- imagine how exhausting it must be to have so much conflict in one's life. She'll continue with this behaviour until the courts deny her visitation or her daughter gets old enough to say she doesn't want to visit her mum any more, whichever comes first.

Literally the first part of this episode she said "I was always really uncomfortable being in the limelight and being popular" and dr phil was like "what do you mean 'being in the limelight'? Why were you in the limelight?" And she answered "well my brother was a famous baseball player in our area (minor league team for the county she lived in so not famous at all) and everyone would say to me 'oh you're his sister that's so cool' and it always made me uncomfortable. But now I think I've matured and can take my place in the spotlight now." And Dr phil was like ok...
Also they showed a bit of her singing for them and she was awful. This woman makes everything all about her and it's gross.

I mean, if she was a good mother, she would KNOW how expensive taking care of children is. But the fact that it didn’t even cross her mind paints a pretty clear picture of what she’s like as a mother, aka, she doesn’t pay attention to her kid and doesn’t provide her kid enough resources to know in the first place. She’s just salty her career is going nowhere, meanwhile her ex boyfriend lives a comfortable lifestyle because he’s in the military. She’s using the kid to hurt him because that’s the only thing she has on him.
she wants the father to pay for child support so she can take the money for herself. many people do it because often enough the monthly amount is more than what the child actually needs and uses... if that makes sense???
If he didn’t want to pay he wouldn’t continuously go through the court system and pay who knows how much in court and lawyer fees instead of paying child support

Child support is not based on how much it costs to raise a child. It is determined more by how much that parent makes.
I know. a guy who pays 6,000 a month for his twins and another child.
He only makes $3200 a month.
But he won a lawsuit where his back was seriously injured in a work place.
So the courts system is crazy.

Yes! She literally quit her job and moved from new York to North Carolina after the second date to move in with him, and he hasn't even said anything about being his girlfriend, let alone living together, and he knew she was crazy even before she showed up at his door. That's why he blocked her and eventually got a restraining order. But she never got over the fact that he didn't want her, and now with her daughter is the only way she can communicate with him. She still tries to get him back, and she says he buys her presents and sends her letters saying he's going to divorce his new wife and come with her.... she's delusional.

That’s exactly what it was. She was a waitress he met and he invited her to be his date to a military dance. She was from out of state and came which he expected for the weekend, but she planned on staying forever. It freaked him out and he had to kick her out…..but before she got crazy they had already had the drunken hookup. She has the crazy eyes and voice….
I’m so glad the judge saw through her crazy sh*t show!!! That child will grow in a healthier setting and has a much better chance to succeed in life! Great job judge!

It’s a good thing the father has custody. This woman needs some serious help. She doesn’t see that she ever does anything wrong.
Personally, I think Danielle loves being the center of attention. Initially, it is easy to sympathize with her because she is a blonde, soft spoken Christian woman. She is very jealous that Brandon moved on and got married, so she uses her daughter as a pawn to stay involved and control Brandon’s life. Ostensibly, she is acting in her daughter’s best interest, but it just makes Danielle look like the ultimate victim and martyr. She is locked in a custody battle, but it is all due to her own behavior. I am no psychologist. I do not believe that Danielle will ever change. The victim mentality is impossible to penetrate, and she feels that she has done nothing wrong. Everyone else, i.e. Brandon, is the problem. Her poor daughter.

The court messes up alot when it comes to custody battles , but they definitely got this one right!! This mother deserves to never see her child again !!!
You know what's really sad? The many men who are in this exact same situation but don't have the money to afford the lawyer,the court filings, the crazy expense that comes along with fighting a deranged mother who's using the child as a pawn. This guy was LUCKY he could afford to keep going to court. How many parents go through this same situation but simply can't afford the battle? It's just sad.

Her daughter and the issues she claimed her daughter to have were nothing but a ploy to use the little girl as an object she could hold over her ex. I think it's about how upset she is that he moved on or revenge for how she felt he wronged her. You can tell what people really care about based on what they talk about and her holier-than-thou loving mother facade cracked a bit when she switched the topic for a minute to talk about what her EX put HER through and not what SHE put her DAUGHTER through.

She says that he wants custody to get out of paying child support. I know from the experience as a custodial single father of two children that child support from an ex does not cover anywhere near half of the cost of raising them.

This clip shows what is wrong with family court. The fact that the mother, de facto, gets custody of the children is the last legal form of sexual discrimination. Mothers and fathers should be equal and not require "extraordinary" circumstances for a father to gain custody of his children.
