So many things to love about this video. Like it feels you are really trackside watching these trains. The trains and scenes are awesome. Scenery and real to life details are perfect. Also love the placement of that do not enter sign in La grange.
I did an ho layout..took me 20 years..was once featured in our local newspaper...but my garage leaked badly during a storm and destroyed most of it...couldnt afford a do-over...so i enjoy watching these!!!

Wow! Woke up and my 4 year old daughter said she had a dream about trains so I thought id show her some different kinds of trains and we are blown away by the detail and work you put in to this. Outstanding work my friend.
This layout has always been one of my favorites, specifically because of the scenery and how it can easily pass for the real thing. I would love to see what the builder (forgot his name) could do with a much bigger space and a bigger variety of scenery such as big mountainous areas, bridges etc. He would moat definitely be near the top of the list of people I would want to hire to help build my dream layout if the powerball lottery ever called my name haha. I have always wanted to do a modern day theme like this and he has it nailed!
Wow! Fantastic. I love the highway signs and the attention to detail, especially the vehicles. That Buick @10:50 looks like a real car shrunk down to HO scale!
The perfect integration of the layout with the background images, giving a strong sense of horizon, and a world that goes on forever, make this the most realistic, and therefore best, layout I have ever seen... along with the excellent modelling work of course.

My opinion: Best layout ever. Maybe not so much from an operator's standpoint, but certainly for realism. It's a tribute to modern scale modeling possibilities nowadays, and to what can be achieved with real life skills. Museum level art work. Congratulations! I wish I could see it in person one day. That would be worth the trip.

The only thing I can say is wow! It's so nice to see a model railroad without a washer and dryer or a furnace in the backdrop. If it was a movie it could be entitled Honey I Shrunk The Neighborhood.

I loved seeing all those Texas junctions and the DQ was a nice touch!. I like how you run your trains at what seems like the right speed for the type or length- makes it seem very realistic. Too many people have theirs putting around at what seems unrealistic speeds. (too slow)

Great layout, has lots of realism to it. I’m an N scale modeler. My N scale railroad is the Pacific West Coast Railroad. I already have scratch built 4 railroad water towers, made an oil tank scratch built for my Southern Pacific GS-4 number 4449 which is my excursion locomotive & the Morning Daylight 10 car set is my excursion train, I also have an N scale Superliner which is the Coast Starlight, 2 cabooses-1 is a Santa Fe & the other is a Southern Pacific bay window, 10 freights cars, 3 Amtrak P42 locomotives. I’m halfway finished with the diesel fuel tanks for the diesel locomotive refueling facility that I’m scratch building.
I'm a big fan of Jim Lofland and Pelle Soeborg's work among others . I've just discovered your channel and in all honesty I think your layout is the best of them all.. That's saying something because Jim and Pere and a few other great modelers are masters of the hobby ..Great work and pure joy to watch ...G'day from a new subscriber from Australia , sir . A nice little detail you could do is add a few people sitting in chairs by the railroad watching the trains. People love watching stuff like that go by in real life

Summit model brother that is by far the coolest layout of trains that I have ever seen and I’ve seen a lot I love it man the way you got all the least power mix them with all your trains your DPU’s and just everything is so cool. I would love to see that in person I have a cousin that has a layout just about like yours and he’s a big Norfolk southern fan from down in Pearl River Louisiana and a whole second story of his house is all trains with all the different little towns and cities from New Orleans Louisiana to Meridian Mississippi and it is fine the way he’s got it laid out and he runs all different power just like you as least power and his is awesome too but yours is by far the best I’ve ever seen man

My favorites are the BNSF empty coal train, the BNSF loaded coal train, the CSX Tropicana and stack train, the UP empty coal train, the BNSF oil train, the BNSF grain train, the UP mixed freight train at 19:02, and the UP sand train. Why? Because they all have DPUs at the back.
The detail, the modern look is very relatable. Every sidewalk , control box for crossings, fast food restaurants. Wow nailed it
