Great presentation John! The great thing about your channel is that you show how getting older does not mean losing style or relevance. No longer do we need to dress the way our grandparents dressed but at the same time wearing clothes that belong to either your son or grandson can make you look odd. All the option you resented are great. Keep up the great work Sir, much health to you!
I love it when you do these , I get a lot of good ideas. I have to tell you I’m 65 and my girlfriend who is 56 says I dress great and she loves the way I dress. Thanks to you! Hats Off!
Great ideas for spring outfits for a mature guy to still look effortlessly stylish and put together. All of them were coordinated without looking contrived. You hit the nail on the head with the belt accessories. It’s a part of a gentleman’s wardrobe that elevates ‘the look’ above the ordinary without drawing glaring attention to one particular piece. You see so many guys forgetting a belt and paying the price with the look of their jeans/chinos/trousers looking baggy and unkempt. Add a coordinated belt and it elevates the whole outfit completely while still looking both sharp yet relaxed!
Another great video John. I am for now on an extremely limited cash flow (ongoing divorce issues) but by following your style cues and shopping at Value Village/thrift stores I am dressing with style and flair. I made a conscious decision to dress better, eat better, exercise, and mind my life's details, and it has translated into a sense of inner peace and confidence. I was pretty much a teenager inside a mid 50's guy and felt invisible to the ladies. Trust me, the ladies are noticing me now. Soon when my divorce finalizes I will be living my life with even better style and more fully. Have a powerful day.
John, you look great and show respect for your viewers. I am a 76 year old woman and love your style. I ask my husband to change his style but does not style up! Dressing well shows respectability to your viewers. Take care!
I appreciate the style videos as they provide pallets and combinations we can draw from. I also appreciate that you provide variations and degrees from casual to the more formal.
Yes, love that you show the outfits and how the diff combos can go together. It helps to be able to see it vs the guys who just talk about it in the video and show pics of these young 20 something models…great video…
Dress for the environment you expect to be in. When I was working in a office, it was slacks, dresss shirt, and tie. With a sports coat available which coordinated. I’m color blind, so I turned a couple of our clerical staff, and one of my older sisters loose with my credit card. Once tehy chose the clothes, my sister “Geranimaled” every thing by putting laundry tape with numbers in teh waist beads of alll the slacks, small pieces of laundry tape with letters in teh skinny part of every tie, and laundry with table of which slacks worked with what ties, and that shirt. Worked really well. I looked put together and professional. I’m now working as a construction engineer. I dress like my contractors. Polo Shirt, and Denim in the warm weather. Flannels or Canvas shirts over t-shirts in the winter. Being Color Blind i was at a loss as to how to get things color matched. My niece informed me that Carhartt has a limited color palate. You can wear any shirt with any of their pants. And all of their plaids use the same colors as their t-shirts, and at least three colors of their t-shirts work with any of their plaids. Makes life much simpler.
Thanks for training us on how to dress well. I watch with my wife of 36 years and we discuss the looks you show. Thanks again for the examples and advice!
Always dropping important knowledge & hammering it home with full-on modeling completes the circle. Thank you for the guidance & encouragement to be the best version of ourselves. Bravo Sir!

Great video. I liike all of the outfits that you showed. They would look good on my husband. That belt you showed is relly slick, I shall have to look into that.
Great video! I would be delighted to watch a formal wear version of this for those of us who use men’s suits for work or volunteer work (church, charity events, etc.). Your channel gives men over 40 so much excellent advice about staying stylish as we grow older.
Well done, John. All of these outfits are tastefully and stylishly put together. Thank you for doing an extraordinary job in inspiring us older guys to achieve sartorial excellence.
