Thanks for the assembly video. I still have this model; had found a piece which I could not figure out where to place since I did not have the manual any longer. Instead of trying to find the manual online, I decided to do a quick UA-cam search and found your video. Much appreciate it. God bless.
I managed to find a brand-new inbox never opened one of these on eBay it cost me £150 which I thought was quite reasonable tried it out today absolutely love it it is so powerful
I have a Cinetic DC75 and DC41 MK2, they both have the same hose lengths I can't really say the cinetic is more powerful than my 41 mk2, I'd rather own my 41 mk2 lol Hope you like it!
This will be interesting. It's supposed to be the top of the line in Dyson's but some have complained that the tiny cyclones get clogged with lots of use. Also I've read that it doesn't have as much suction as the ball animal 2. Let's see whether it's worth the extra money.
pugso59 Wilson you’re better off with the animal ball 2 I bought one for my best friend and I has almost 300 air watts of suction power whereas the kinetic has 180 air watts
Hello, I’d like to request that at the end of February for the conclusion video of this vacuum that you remove the post motor filter and check for dust in the ducts to that filter to see if the ‘Cinetic Science’ works and removes all dust, it’d be rather interesting to see. You would require a screw driver though.
Roger could find that it invalidates his warranty if he dismantles the machine to check the post motor filters, as they are not a user serviceable part, and Dyson could deem that he contravened the user instructions by dismantling the machine. Manufacturers are getting very strict on warranty claims now, and many are looking for excuses, however trivial, to void a warranty.
Dyson have fitted regular crosshead screws to the sides of the ball to access the post motor filters, so I may take a look at them at the end of the month. I'm not bothered about the warranty anyway, as after February I won't be using the Big Ball much.
As I mentioned in another video I do like my "full size" cordless but definitely don't think it's appropriate as an only machine in the household. I use it daily and it helps tremendously but I still need to use my bagged canister to finish the job. I have only solid floors and area rugs so it's not as critical being that I mop and wash rugs periodically. I love the crosswave for washing the floors but do still do the old fashioned hands and knees method for a deep cleaning as the machine doesn't get baseboards and the very edge. And 1000 times yes to the vac that vacuums last "wins". That was a heck of a lot of dust though I was kind of surprised actually but proves what we already all knew that a plug in model is stronger.
Are dyson paying you for these vids Roger because you do an excellent job of explaining the assembly process mate.professional as ever and a superb video
I’ve never been paid or received anything free from Dyson and it’s highly unlikely that I ever will as I have been critical of their products in the past.
I have this hoover but it won't move on my pile carpet, it's fine on very short pile and I have moved the switch to minimal also the hose extension doesn't give much suction is there anything u can tell me to do do it will move ? X
That is a nice bin capacity, especially for a Dyson. Usually they are pathetically small on their more modern machines. Judging from the sound it seems to agitate the carpet quite well, but I've seen thunderstorms that are quieter than this thing. :D
Dyson’s were not my favourite in years gone by , but, been using a DC40 and the DC35 cordless digital slim, I must say I’ve been quite impressed by both machines, I like the idea of Cinetic Dyson machine no filters but I’d fear dust getting into the motor cause premature failure, I Know Dyson’s separate dust very well indeed.
Wow - Roger, thats quite eye opening isnt it? All those homes where people are using a Shark cordless as their only vacuum on carpets are going to have so much deep down dirt and grit building up that its going to wear their carpets out much quicker. I expect the carpet manufacturers are hoping that every home only uses a cordless soon, as they will be selling a lot more carpet - and they'll be giving Shark a great big pat on the back for enabling this state of affairs. Looking clean is a lot different from being 100% actual clean. So many nasties can lurk deep down in your carpet, even flea eggs, and vacuuming with a mains powered vacuum is still a necessity if you have mainly carpets. I reckon the V8 used on Max would have deep cleaned better than the Shark would, as the Dyson has 115 Airwatts on MAX, which is much more than the Shark Ion Flex. I wish you'd have vacuumed the whole room on this video - the results would have been even more dramatic. I also think the Shark wouldnt have been picking up well due to its filter being clogged, as you showed us it was really dirty in your last video, and this must have been affecting the low amount of suction it had before the filters got clogged, making it even weaker suction. This is a great video for proving that Cordless is not ready yet to replace a powerful corded vacuum, and this Big Ball is 1300W if I'm not mistaken?
Yes the big ball is 1300 watts and 87db, so it is breaking the law under current EU rules. You're right, cordless technology can't replace a corded vacuum yet, but I think that will happen in the next five years or so. This cleaner feels similar to using the DC15 to me, but I prefer the Light Ball especially as it's a lot quieter.
Conor Riddell I know I’m not roger but I have personal experience. My V6 total clean came from Dysons outlet on eBay. It was like brand new!!! The tools were basically new and some were in the packet.
I have written to Dyson about my new vacuum on how much I hate it.. the handle (rod) is narrower now and why did they put that little bar in the center of it halfway down? Everything catches on it and then the suction diminishes. And trying to get anything stuck out of it is almost impossible. The brush that I use most often has changed also. Not enough bristles. I could go on and on. This will be my last Dyson.... I hate my vacuum.
I am amazed after all the cleaning you do on your carpets, just how filthy they still are. Kind of question's the effectiveness of past vacuum cleaners you have tested / rated. Build quality is not that great on this Dyson, at least that aspect of Dyson stays consistent. Complaints about the handle twisting in use, Dyson keen to say its plastic is the same / similar as that used to make riot shields, people want to vacuum, not riot or twist and shout which you will do a lot of as its loud! A lot of people find it tiring to use for any period of time, heavy and quite a few find it also runs hot whilst being harsh on the electric bill. The air value on the back of the bin can be a bit premature when it comes to kicking in killing suction performance. People also don't like the fact they cant get inside the bin to clean it out. Everything in life blocks, nothing is immune. 100% suction 100% of the time as is filters that never need cleaning is is a load of rubbish. The clue is in the name, filter. If something is being filtered, the filter is capturing and holding. Where does what the filter capture go? Overpriced and sold on hype.
As I explained in the video, for the past month I have been using a Shark cordless vacuum which explains why the Dyson pulled out so much dirt from a small area. Please direct any concerns you have with Dyson with them, because I don't have any connection with Dyson or any vacuum cleaner manufacturer/retailer.
ibaisaic no need to direct my concerns to Dyson, spent years dealing with them. I used to work for a major department store and every time we sold a Dyson big ball, we would all give a wink to each other because we pretty much knew it would be returned and as sure as night follows day, I’d say 80% come back with some of the reasons I posted above to name but a few as the reasons for the return. That’s why you’ll find in a lot of stores now, Dyson put their own sales people in to push their stuff! It’s then down to the Dyson rep to sell the vac, we just used to smile and take the money and say see you soon and we did!
His carpets are so dirty because when he does these videos he dumps the contents of the bins directly onto the carpet, so some dirt gets into the carpet over time and works itself in. That's why when I do my vacuum videos, I have a big enough roll of "test carpet" (weighs like 30-40 lbs) I use for demo videos that I got from a carpet supply depot, rather than actively ruining my own carpeting. Not even the strongest vacuum would be able to "grab" it and get stuck, so it works well. Cheaper than those Hoover or Kirby branded store rugs you see in vacuum shops.
Check out Performance Review's site. He is a vacuum technician who services various vacuums and talks about the pros and cons of how they are made. He was saying that the cinetic design lets too much dust pass through to the motor and they get clogged. One has to have another vacuum to clean the Dyson.
vacuum nut you have to remember also, he's a vacuum shop, the machines that are brought to him are usually heavily abused, dyson claims in normal use, it should last 10 years, im no Dyson fan, but I don't think they would mass market a machine if the technology didn't work
Riccar Rad, I agree but there’s also the ‘built in obsolescence’ factor. The technology does work but will ultimately lead to at best, the repair of, and at worst the failure of the machine. Dyson are masters of marketing - I heard someone saying that they were great for someone with extreme asthma and dust sensitivity and indeed some models are marketed as such... In use perhaps they are, but HEPA or any other filtration is pretty meaningless when you empty a Dyson (or any bagless cleaner) bin as it is impossible to avoid dust being released into the air.
Jack DeHavilland I agree with you to, I like Bagged Vacuums, preferably riccar brand Vacuums, but if I had to get a Bagless vacuum I think dyson would be my choice
ibaisaic can you unbox the Miele Compact C2 Total Care its not the one with the powerhead that's the Complete C3 Totalcare this one the Compact C2 Total Care has a Miele Turbo Brush
I'd love to see what a machine that's more adept at deep cleaning could get that the Shark left behind. Because if this Dyson was able to grab that much from a small area, I can't imagine what that carpet is hiding.
I saw an interview on TV last year shot at Dyson's headquarters that mentioned noise levels of vacuum cleaners and apparently American buyers tend to like loud vacuums because they equate loud to powerful, whereas Japanese customers want a much quieter machine. Dyson is capable of reducing the noise levels of their machines if they want to and now have to thanks to new EU regulations.
that's Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Upright cleaner right there. the Cinetic Technology doesn't have maintain filters. my Dyson Ball Upright cleaner has Radial Root Cyclone Technology. it has maintain filters. I wash it on three months. I let it dry on 24 hours. when it's completely dry. I put it back on the cleaner machine extremely well. so I did.
You still get the odd idiot comments on your channel sir and I've told him what I think of him. I agree with you for standing up for your principles but it's gonna be a long February without ibasiac. Don't let it get you down. Looking forward to the next rogers bits and doings sir. Some good will come out of ibasiac having a break I'm sure. I tried my bissell on my stairs and I love it. Plenty of run time for the job. Hope you've got to try yours out yet.
ibaisaic .hello my friend. Just seen your link to this dirt bags comments. That would really upset me. He should not comment if he didn't like what he saw. Totally agree with you at 11:43 :) Always the last vacuum with pick up what is left behind, no matter with which vacuum we use.
I managed to find a brand-new inbox never opened one of these on eBay it cost me £150 which I thought was quite reasonable tried it out today absolutely love it it is so powerful
You solved my assembly issues. Thanks a trillion!
Much appreciated sir, I was not really sure how far down I needed to stuff the wand to get it to sit properly
I had the exact same question, it isn't seated and clicked like the original
Me too!
Thank you! We were confused by the diagram for the tool holder. 😂
Same!! haha
Same here!
Just bought one today! Last one they had in stock at my local Best Buy! Love it!😊 thanks for the tutorial!
This video was great !! The paperwork I got was virtually useless.....thanks so much !!
I have a Cinetic DC75 and DC41 MK2, they both have the same hose lengths
I can't really say the cinetic is more powerful than my 41 mk2, I'd rather own my 41 mk2 lol
Hope you like it!
The hose is still too short for my stairs unfortunately. I also have a DC41 but it's not been unboxed yet.
The Cinetic's selling point is that is has no filters to clean.
Thanks there was a good deal on refurbished models of this and it was doing my head in trying to figure out how to get it together.
lol same just bought a refurbished one
This will be interesting. It's supposed to be the top of the line in Dyson's but some have complained that the tiny cyclones get clogged with lots of use. Also I've read that it doesn't have as much suction as the ball animal 2. Let's see whether it's worth the extra money.
pugso59 Wilson you’re better off with the animal ball 2 I bought one for my best friend and I has almost 300 air watts of suction power whereas the kinetic has 180 air watts
Mason Medeiros Mason Medeiros Yes I think I'd rather wash filters rather than have to deal with the temperamental cinetic system.
pugso59 Wilson yeah the animal is their greatest upright so far that should of been the contender against shark

Thank you, so much for the demo! Only that pesky clip got mee
Really like watching your videos ,fun to watch 😁
Thanks.
Sad to say but I just opened this box...Thank you for posting this!!

It is quite loud that's for sure, which is why it has been discontinued in EU countries for not meeting the new noise level limits.

I prefer to have a pre motor filter myself. If the motor fails within the 5 year guarantee period, I'm sure Dyson would repair/replace it.
ibaisaic I have to agree, a little concerning no pre-motor filtration, I’m sure we’ll see how it fairs up in the ibaisaic test 👍
They are kinda s..t in quality, just the name exists, better buy a Miele instead.
I must say this is an awesome vacuum!
I just hope that the fine dust doesn't get to the post motor filters. Anyway I really like it.
Could you say if dirt leaks out the bottom of the bin
Thank you so much! The small little manual doesn’t show all of the steps. 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
You're welcome!
I have seen videos where the Dyson cordless models with higher brush bar power such as the v6 absolute totally outclean uprights.
how do i switch to hose
Do you recommend?

I have a Dyson DC 41 Animal and it doesn't work well on thick carpet :/ Anything I could do? If not can you recommend a vacuum cleaner for me. Thanks!
I love this vacuum it’s my favorite dyson I have
would you recommend a manufacturer refurbished dyson.
Conor Riddell I know I’m not roger but I have personal experience. My V6 total clean came from Dysons outlet on eBay. It was like brand new!!! The tools were basically new and some were in the packet.
hoover master brilliant to hear what was the warranty on the V6 total clean
Yes, if you buy it from Dyson and not a third party. I bought a cylinder model a few months ago and it looked brand new.
I got a up13 animal complete refurbished from the Dyson eBay store and it looked and worked like new
I have written to Dyson about my new vacuum on how much I hate it.. the handle (rod) is narrower now and why did they put that little bar in the center of it halfway down? I measure only 78dB on hard wood and 77 on carpeted floors.
Thanks so much for the great review brother!
I have this vacuum and I need to get a belt do anyone know what belt I can't find my book
It does not use a belt. If the brush is not turning, it has either cut out due to an obstruction or the brush roll motor has failed.
@@ibaisaic its not picking up anything what should I do
ibaisaic can you unbox the Miele Compact C2 Total Care its not the one with the powerhead that's the Complete C3 Totalcare this one the Compact C2 Total Care has a Miele Turbo Brush
There is a filter in the ball, but i love my cinetic Dyson.
There are two filters actually, but they are not meant to be user serviceable.
Just like the battery on the iPhone, lol They get you any way you can to sell more vacuums.
If you have any questions or
I like your videos
Please can you get a Dyson Airblade
they do not sell them for domestic use. And they cost a fortune. And he has no reason to buy one- but otherwise, why not?
I'd love to see what a machine that's more adept at deep cleaning could get that the Shark left behind. Because if this Dyson was able to grab that much from a small area, I can't imagine what that carpet is hiding.
Thank u I’ve never felt dumber than trying to put that vacuum together
Ear muffs on and good luck with that dusting brush.
I may put on my ear deffenders when using this Dyson, but the noise isn't as bad as it sounds in the video.
That is the one I have
Why don't they sound insulate?
I saw an interview on TV last year shot at Dyson's headquarters that mentioned noise levels of vacuum cleaners and apparently American buyers tend to like loud vacuums because they equate loud to powerful, whereas Japanese customers want a much quieter machine. Dyson is capable of reducing the noise levels of their machines if they want to and now have to thanks to new EU regulations.
haha I have a 1,100 watt Sunpentown vacuum, should hear how loud that is. It's like a table saw. "Oh but it must be powerful, then!"
I equate quiet with both quality build and luxury.
Makes that same horrible vibration noise as the DC40
that's Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Upright cleaner right there. the Cinetic Technology doesn't have maintain filters. my Dyson Ball Upright cleaner has Radial Root Cyclone Technology. it has maintain filters. I wash it on three months. I let it dry on 24 hours. when it's completely dry. I put it back on the cleaner machine extremely well. so I did.
There not that loud
Thought that Dyson is expensive
799.99 and yes i do have the dyson for 800 dollars
Basic or " baisaic", I think the spelling is wrong, I might be confused, someone help me
The channel name is ibaisaic. It’s an acronym.
Its baisic
Here what it means
I - it
B - beats
A - as
I - it
S - sweeps
A - as
I - it
C -cleans
