I only press right button and turn on ignition with key and press on wiper stick bottom button for OK in dash lcd. And for Inspection and oil turn on hazard light first and do all again.

Didn't work on my 2013 Trendline..I had to turn ignition on and hold right talk button (the one used to go through trip computer) then you can go down to settings-service-reset-yes and your DONE ✔️

Doesn't seem to work for a 2012 Caddy. When you press/hold break and right button while turning the ignition on it displays a menu asking if you want to reset the oil check. I don't know how to select 'OK'. Tried pressing the left button, didn't work. Any ideas?
I worked it out. On the 2012 Caddy there's a little 'ok/reset' button on the bottom of the windscreen wiper control stick. You use the button on the side of that stick to navigate the menu, and press this bottom button to make your selection.

Hi I tried this and it got rid of one of my issues but I still have the oil light and abs light flashing with a warning tone. Just done oil change, oil temp seems fine on long runs and checked oil level. Any ideas?

Hey really good videos, Can you please help me I live were there are no VW servicing centers, My 2006 Caddy Van Australian model had the pulley on the alternator wore off, I have replaced with complete New alternator. I have a battery box red light up on the dash. When it failed I was able to drive it home, but the next morning I tried starting the van and it turned over easily but wouldn't start, like something in the ecu stopping it, How do I reset it or what I need to do so that it will start. Thanks in advance
If the battery light is on there's definitely an issue,, have you checked it is charging ?
@@diydaly Hi and thanks for your reply, today I have finished replacing a new alternator, the battery has checked good 13.6v when I try to start the vehicle, it turns over well plenty of charge in battery, but the car won't start, like I said before its like the battery fault light is still on and stopping it from starting
@@howesadventures8048 hmm that odd the battery warning light wouldn’t stop it from starting .. does it not have any fault codes?
@@diydaly Hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2023, I replaced the alternator as well as the battery even thou it showed good charge, Tried to start today but same as before, Could it be a mobilizer problem, my Key has been U/S for 18 months, but I could always open door and start the van with just the key. On the dash I have a steering wheel orange light, the red battery light that is there when trying to start, it doesn't start. I also have another orange fault light Exterior light fault due to a indicator light removed(Broken)
@@howesadventures8048 possibly but it’s sounds more involved possible wiring or module fault but it’s really hard to say without looking , think your gona need to get someone to have a look into it
