I've got a mk.6 golf plus, and I did reset the Indicator in a similar fashion with the mfd plus and multifunction-Steeringwheel. However, the car is now on a fixed 15.000 km maintenance-schedule as opposed to flexible Service (Oil-Change Interval up to 30.000 km) before. Is there any way to return to flexible-long-life service without a Vag-Com?

Check my video from Skoda Yeti but I believe that general service needs to reset with diagnostic interface. Now only oil service can be reset with just a key combination.
Three options: 1. you have controls on the rights stalk. 2. you have controls on the steering wheel 3. you don't have controls, just the 0.0 button on the instrument cluster.
Try the procedure with the 0.0 button. If it doesn’t work, then you need to reset it with diagnostic interface. And scan your car to see why the stalk buttons doesn’t work.
@@alisonbaer The smaller versions of the display are cheaper, so its not possible to get into the settings, same problem with my Golf Plus from the year 2005.
+Seba_Inbecki please check our other videos about reseting service message in VAG cars. There are lots of different procedures for that and unfortunately we didn't have the chance to check in Rapid 2014 yet.

Thanks for this. Dealer didn't reset after the last service on my TDi, and of course the manual doesn't explain how to reset it, just that it's there.

This is the way to reset fixed interval service not for longlife. You need vcds for that.
I have a caddy 2014 , with multifunctional steering wheel, do you know how to do it with that, because i dont have a trip button on the whipers

Hold the top mfd button down on the end of the stalk for about 5 seconds and it should go back
in my 07 octavia VRS I could not reset the service. You know how?

Service now is all it says. I have changed the oil and filters.

Do not work for me on my Golf Plus 2011.... :( I dont know how enter to MFD menu...! PLS help..!

I have steering wheel without controls...:( Push and hold up or down button on the right stalk doesn't work!
