I love Porsche and BMW, even the Acura has nice sound. But damn this Cadillac sounds miles better than any of them!

@@ThomasArmento I'm from Hungary,Eastern Europe. I admit I don't watch much European racing series,I find them boring,if Cadillac comes to Le Mans I will root for them. Most of my mates who into racing have a dream of driving the Nordschleife. My dream is to drive Road America,Sebring and Indianapolis😁

I like Acura's high-tech setup and Porsche's clean lines, but the sound and batmobile-esqueness of the Caddy is something that sends shivers down my spine. Gonna be great to see the single car WEC entry later this year!

I was starting to be scared that these legendary race cars with a great sound like the Mazda 787B would belong to the past, but now I believe that a new chapter is being written and these cars will probably be as legendary as the old ones

I love those bass that goes into my ear. I'm gonna root for cadillac because it has the best noise.
This is going to stand out by a mile at Le Mans amongst all the muted flat-plane V8 and V6 turbos. I can't wait to hear it for real!
It sounds like an absolute menace lol it looks so good and has a soundtrack to back it up. Definitely the best lmdh produced with the hypercar rule set.

Qualifying at Daytona wasn't great for these guys. I'm hoping this isn't a sign of things to come for the year, I really want Cadillac to do well.
If I had to pick an engine/chassis combo to be most reliable during the race I’d probably pick caddy
The team that won't go behind the wall due to mechanical issue is the team that takes it this year.
Qualifying really means nothing here.
Way too many variables to base performance from one track...
@@drewgalbraith4499 large displacement naturally aspirated engines will be very reliable, but may not be the fastest on track, either flat out speed or high fuel consumption wasting more time in the pits.
Don't get me wrong I love these Cadillacs and their team is definitely experienced but there are a few possible issues.
Let's hope they win.

It's a very important sound for top tier motorsport, especially for American motorpsort. This is the best sound from lmdh or hypercar(Peugeot 9X8 fan here.)

What is the performance difference compared to the previous DPI Cadillac?
LMDh in general are about 200lbs heavier but 100hp more powerful - so better power/weight ratio depending on BoP. That being said, Roar qualifying times did not exceed DPi but were very close and none of the teams got a true flying lap in due to a red flag. For right now, looks like LMDh and DPi are on equal ground. But race pace and stint length might exceed that of the V.R-DPi this weekend…
I want one. It would look fantastic between my Aventador and 720s. Or maybe my F8 Tributo...

Sounding like this car uses a micro gas-turbine engine to charge starter and start main engine, or like engine when starting accelerates to extreme RPS points much bigger than 10k.

If I were to pick a car to be the most reliable, it would be this or the Porsche. The Acura is so damn fast, but I think plenty of them will end up behind the wall with mechanical problems.

If u take a cup car, make it mid engined, and shrink wrap the body as small as possible.

Why are the wheels open ?
It's to allow air to escape under the car. They used to use vents above the wheels but they'd always break out from rubber buildup off the tires so several years ago they just mandated holes there
The sound is the reason why I will never ever watch a race of electric cars, neither in TV nor live on track.
