Man the wheel companies are all coming out with new tech. These, OJ double duro, Dragons and X Forumla. I would pick XF for top dog. I have the XF97, such a good wheel, fast as f, grips well, slides well and just kills crust. Psyched for XF99. Killer of Formula4 99du I reckon
.... You have not skated nearly as long as I have obviously because this is a gimmick of the early eighties and it didn't fly then.... Dual durometer wheels have been out for a long time believe me there is no new tech😮
@@ron8935 Ok then old head ;) The old dual durometer wheels had a harder inner duro if I remember correctly. The new OJ's have softer urethane bearing seat and 101 hard outer.
The only real help for board madness is to skate those super different set-ups and have fun with whatever skating the board leads into. Nice impossible btw
The wheels are nice but the edit and the music is even better! Keep on evolving Kev! But yeah such dope looking wheels. I think I might snag a pair when I find them. Just like I copy everything else you do. Except for the tricks. Wish I could though!
I'd be curious to know if they slide and grind at all, or if you just stop dead because of the grippiness. I have a cruiseresque setup with a normal board and trucks with some soft Ricta Clouds, and what's nice is that it's still possible to do grinds, I think because the core is a bit harder than the bottom. Not nearly as well as a harder set of wheels, but still quite a lot better than actual cruiser wheels. You sure make 'em look fun, though!
I will make another video eventually, and I'll put them on my normal setup. Try some slides and grinds. It's definitely a fun cruiser wheel and looks amazing. Obviously, they won't stay crystal clear forever. I don't expect that.
Thos was a food time. That is a small board. Respect for getting tricks in it. You know i have to ask, when are you funally going to skate the bowl with Cab.
Don't suppose you could do a tutorial on how to 360 flip and do a moving kick flip ye I twisted my ankle 2 months ago now still can't skate got no pain now unless ankle goes sideways left foot slipped of the tail as I landed the kick flip then hit floor like ton of bricks was doing it standing still I don't have clue how I messed it up as usually I'm ok with it but could be because I had been skating a new set up I think had it like a month by that time maybe
@@KevinNiceTry you did a good job of doing it I'm progressing slowly learnt to slappy nose slide last year this year learnt to power slide this year moving kick flip or varial flip lol
What does 90 DU mean ?.... Spitfire about 16 years ago started with that 101 and 104 a durometer which is fake there's no such thing and never was it was just a gimmick to claim the hardest wheel and then people fell for the trend to own the hardest wheel and buy them.... I'm wondering if this isn't similar😮
This may piss people off, but here goes. This looks like spitfire copied or doing their take on the Ricta crystal core clear wheels. You can see the Ricta emblem on it when looking straight down on the wheel. Also they have a harder core with a softer wheel. The one I had I think had a 101 core with 95A duro outer. The wheels still felt hard to me despite the soft outer duro. I hope these feel better.
transparent plastics are inherently softer than dyed opaque dyes. th eu might be able to make hard clear ones without it turning into fibre glass, but idk.
Sweet looking wheels but not Dragons, Xs or even Double duros that said they sound better just perform worse than what's already out there and cheaper. Best use might be as a SWEET DIY foot stop on a downhill board!
Those sapphires look so friggin slick. I just swapped from yellow board blue wheels to white board white wheels. Sick upload 🤙
Wow, nice looking wheels. This must be the first time I consider buying wheels to put on the wall.
Haha wall wheels
Homie can skate anything
Zip Zingers are fun
Those wheels look lush, so lit with the flamehead set inside the wheel 😀
Seriously
@@KevinNiceTry how do these compare to the spitfire 80hd sd?
Way harder. They feel harder than the dragons.
Finally someone on UA-cam skating these. Been wanting a review on them lol
It's definitely a soft cruiser wheel, but it feels great to pop ollies and tricks. It's not bouncy like others. Wouldn't replace a formula four 99a.
Same i been waiting for a review of these!

Have you compared then to spitfire f4 97du's?
Agreed

@@Lazy_Prophet Yes these beat f497's in speed IMO. If anything f4 97 is less bouncy.

If it breaks it breaks no big deal something only real skaters say fr this one sentence made me smile keep the Spirit of skateboarding alive
I like your videos. There's no BS just fun.
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Can't believe the tricks going down on that skinny deck! 👏Wheels look sick too!
Thanks!
your pop is so effortless and beautiful lol. these wheels seem cool
The only real help for board madness is to skate those super different set-ups and have fun with whatever skating the board leads into.
Nice impossible btw
Thank you
These immediately gave me Hubba Ice Cube vibes.
Forgot about hubba wheels haha

Hahaha thank you! Definitely a super fun wheel, I recommend. Haha.
So envious of that deck. I want one for my 109s so bad.
Yeah, krooked needs to make more Nanos!
Really enjoyed the slow-mo shots. I’ve got a mini Cab dragon cruiser and might have to give these a try. Cheers!
Heck yeah, cheers!
That big flip💥💥💥
Thinking of getting these to skate dusty indoor bowls
That’s a dope setup man!
Thanks! Super fun.
Holy shit. I think I just found my wheel.... This shape and duro.....
Its really really really really good
Thank you Kevin
Spitfire should really drop those in 99a/101a duro… clear wheels are awesome but most of them are soft cruisers
That would be sick
Nice skate wheel!

This is rad!

Looks fun gotta try them
very nice review and video
Pretty Snazzy.
Those look dope
Super fresh
that's the shape i like for wheels
The shape is radial, not radial fulls though.
🤟👽
You should put these on your street board
Thos was a food time. That is a small board. Respect for getting tricks in it.
You know i have to ask, when are you funally going to skate the bowl with Cab.
Haha, I'd be a liar if I didn't say the bowl scares me, haha.
@@KevinNiceTry skate it like a mini ramp.
and sometimes in the discord, you have a danish guy and a french guy speaking about the dutch national team in world cup 98.
Haha this is true
And everyone has to take it and like it ain’t that right Frenchie? 😂
take it easy with the glitch effects 😆
These wheels are very expensive in my country, Indy trucks are cheaper for example insane
How does it feel on rough ground?
Would these be alright on a normal popsicle? I know they're 58mm but risers would help yeah?
Wouldn't slide very well, but they would work for almost everything else. These are 56mm they come in smaller sizes also.
kinda wanna get some of these but the price is wild

Dang, hopefully, it's a speedy recovery. It's possible one day. I'm not the best at flip tricks, so tutorials might not be the best from me, hahaha.
@@KevinNiceTry you did a good job of doing it I'm progressing slowly learnt to slappy nose slide last year this year learnt to power slide this year moving kick flip or varial flip lol
I need some
Do they come in smaller sizes
Yeah the orange and greens are smaller
What are the specs on trucks and board size
Krooked zip zinger nano it's like 7" wide 14" wb small nose regular sized tail. (Not sure on the measurements) and independent 109's
@@KevinNiceTry thanks for the info, I’m going to build one!
Good luck finding a nano. I've been looking, haha. Don't think they make them anymore 😕.
@@KevinNiceTry found one on tactics website
The nano?
Anyone else want a set of the 101du cores-only of these wheels? Like before they get sent to be wrapped in the 90du
Would be interesting

💪
Really like the blue one's, but gotta go with orange cause it matches my deck lol
I'll stick with Slimeball 90A's.

Ricta was ahead of their time. It was a good idea. It got copied with better quality. It happens thank goodness
"fuck you, dragons" - says every other wheel company
😂
The Spitfires aren't marketed to slide. It's just a good cruiser wheel.
@@jimmyhuang8730 I find too much at times
They have hurt me a few times
These aren't meant to compete with dragons in any way, these are harder cruiser wheels, as opposed to dragons meant to be a softer street wheel.
Just realized they're cruiser wheels :)
It's definitely harder than the average cruiser wheel. This was just skating them. I will do a more in-depth review eventually.
Hahaha 😆
Ohh fuc! I know what im buying today for the cruzer/slappy board
💪
Those Wheels suck, but they are so damn gorgeous i would buy them just for the looks
Wheels are decent
Board details? What kinda deck profile is that, im looking for cruiser but no similaritys
