I was scammed also 3 times now, so I'm making my own reborns. This seller was on Etsy I paid 200.00 plus shipping and holes in the baby too. I CAN'T GET A WHOLE OF ANYBODY WITH ALL THE NUMBERS I HAVE, THE SELLER E- MAIED ME SAYING, " THERE ARE FLAWS in the mold, the problem still stands holes in the lips, chest, legs, feet, all over it looks Luke this baby has a decease all over. She said she can't call because she's not in the US which I know isn't true.

I think they came out with a new Grace that had hand-rooted hair, but I have the full vinyl one with hand-applied hair. I love her!

eBay guarantees everything sold. They can view your transaction and any attempts at communication, see the doll has not been shipped, and they will step in. I’ve bought and sold on eBay since it was started. I see you got your $$ back now, but what were you told by eBay? I know you can start the process through the listing of the item, and they give the seller time to answer, but there is definitely more than “we can’t help you”.
I’m sorry that happened. I got scammed too by my friend’s friend. I paid for two reborn dolls and she gave them away. My friend said I should have been more patient. She wasn’t communicating with me. I didn’t know what was going on and she kept putting off the painting. I understand people get busy but I would like communication. She did finish the dolls but told me she wasn’t done with them. Come to find out she gave them away. I opened a case with PayPal but my friend told me she needed the $500, she has kids to take care of and I felt bad so I closed it. She did end up giving me her toddler doll in the end. So she made it right.
I'm shocked that ebay washes their hands after just 7 days!!! If u paid w a credit card, u have months to dispute/reverse the payment. I hope u find a way!

I’ve always found that if a certain length of time passes and I haven’t received the item or heard from the seller, eBay will step in, try to contact the seller and if unsuccessful, issue a refund. Hopefully you’re able to find another doll.

I was scammed about 2 years ago by an eBay purchase. I posted my full body silicon doll because of financial problems. It broke my heart to sell her. She was one of a kind from an artist in the UK. This person contacted me and being naive to selling dolls I worked with this buyer for days it seemed. She did not have a PayPal account so the on,y way to complete the sale after trying several things I posted on Etsy. She purchased the doll I received an email saying the transaction had been completed. Long story short i shipped the doll ( my bad) but never received the funds. I tried to go back to Etsy for help but was told they couldn’t do anything for me. I ended up filing a police report and posting everywhere I could think of to be make people aware of this crazy person. She called me, emailed me. I still have pages and pages of text messages from this person showing what a delusional person she was. I sent tons of outfits with her and still have tons of supplies and clothes for a newborn size. I just gave up and just didn’t want to seal with the drama any longer.
So sad to hear you were scammed. Heres is the thing..scammers know the time limit with ebay..and other sites. Don't know how these people live with themselves. I will say Ebay did help me out on a situation that warranted it. Another thing I don't trust are some of the ratings with pictures..but not of the doll you want to buy. Whatever site anyone is scammed on..they hopefully will take the scammer down of the site. You shop looks lovely...and I be thrilled to visit it...one day!

That is why I stopped shopping on eBay & went to Amazon because they will refund you on many situations and then they go after the seller. I have heard people complain about them as well but I have never had any problems with getting a refund on anything.

I had no idea that ebay doesn't help you after only one week. If you paid with your credit card, they will definitely make sure you get your money back even if you went through PayPal.

Really, terrible. If you have paid by creditcard or PayPal there is a way to get your money back or at least a part. You have a guarentee for buying goods, not deliverd. You have to contact them , some forums have to been filled for. You can explain the situationeel, and back it up with photos from your interactief with this person. You can always try. I always look at how many reviews they have and try to ask questions before bidding.
Problem with some reviews is that they post reviews..but it is not for the doll you are considering.

Always pay via PayPal, they offer a guaranteed refund that doesn’t have a stupidly short time limit.
