Yeah I'm an ex gymnast and I had a very long break due to COVID, I've been doing figure skating now for 2 years and this exact UA-cam video made me get my splits back in 1 week

Ik I’m 2 yrs late, but now I have the weirdest urge to get more flexible. I just finished the video and I feel really good. Except my left leg is shaking and I need to run. It’s currently 11:47 PM where I am. So I can’t do that, but I’ll definitely be doing this routine every day. Thank you! Edit: for anyone wondering if it has worked, yes! It definitely has! I’ve been doing it for a month and a half, and got it! If u try this, you could get into ur splits! If ur consistent. Tysm btw!
It took me 6 months to get 1cm far from the floor and i am sooo proud because my journey to happiness begin with wanting to get my splits and that led to other beautiful things . Never give up guys . You just need to start
I just bursted in tears at 28:45 when you said “yes! Look at that... you’ve been so good”. I didn’t overdo today btw. But your little positive reinforcement in this harsh moment just enlightened all my effort that I put in my health now. And that’s why I felt that release of emotions and cried. Thank you for your good intentions and help. You are amazing 💕
@@laurakissthechef4674 ;0; thought I was the only one, this is really helpful as a everyday daily routine. So much stress is built up ona body so sheesh helps does it’s wonders.
Yess, although for me a tear slipped out in the middle of the video because I wasn’t used to this stretching at all. I love the positive reinforcement, it made me finish the task. Even my sis said I got noticeably lower to the floor
STOP SCROLLING. READ. Whoever you are, if you are depressed, if you have anxiety or if your just so stressed in the moment... Remember, it wouldn't be worth it to end your life. You are NOT a waste. You CAN do it. You CAN stay strong, throw away them razor blades because you should never use them. You are NOT too fat or too skinny. You are NOT ugly. You are NOT a nerd. You are NOT stupid. You are wonderful. You are not a waste of time. I went through a really hard time, but here I am. I am strong and I need you to be strong with me. You can do it. Never even think about giving up. You aren't perfect, but who is? Nobody is perfect (Hannah Montana told me so). What even is 'perfect'? I know everybody has flaws, but this flaws makes us special. You are special. The scars on your skin don't make you ugly. They show you that you made it through it, that you are strong and you didn't give up. Just remember every time you think of giving up: You are worth it, you are not a waste of time. You can do it.
I practiced gymnastics for 12 years and now I wanted to gain my flexibility back again. This is by far the best stretch routine for splits I've seen on youtube!
I am a volleyball player, who has trained Gymnastics years ago. Back then, I was really flexible, I could do every split imaginable, even an oversplit. After I stopped trainng and started Volleyball, I forgot all. Today after this video, I just got my right splits❤, which still hurts pretty well. But thank you, that you made this video, the streches felt awfull in a good way and amazing at the same time. I was about to give up, when your words motivated me to keep going. Thank you❤❤❤, I will never forget this❤!
I'm 14cm away from the floor after doing this once. Before doing this I was about 16cm. I'll be back tomorrow for an update. This comment is so that I can hold myself accountable Day 2: I lowered about 1cm but it felt a lot smoother Day 3: another full cm, so now I'm 12cm away from the floor 😁 Day 4: I have inteanse tummy aches because I had milk and im lactose intolerant so I can't do it today, I just cant Day 5: my right is about 10cm from the floor now and my left dropped 3cm so now im at 10cm on both Day 6: i went down 1.5cm on each again so now b its about 9cm from the ground Day 7: about 8cm on both sides if anyone took the time to read this keep in mind I am ambidextrous so I use both hands equally and this is just for 1 week. in one week I dropped about 8cm. I won't be updating this from now on but I am going to keep on doing this and i will let you know once I can touch the floor good luck to everyone I reached the floor a little over a month after I started but maybe keep in mind I used to dance and have always been pretty flexible. nonetheless good luck 💕
This is the best video with George EVER! I love how she never gets mad or irritated or kicks him out. She's totally welcoming to her puppy even when he's being distracting. He kind of is like the thoughts that float through our head during the every day or the thoughts that tell you to stop when a stretch is particularly crazy 😖 and Casey is teaching us how to acknowledge it but not let it phase you
⚠️⚠️REMINDER: I have been competitive dancing for 11 years(I’m 13) And splits are no joke. I didn’t get mine until I was around eight or nine fully down and I didn’t get my over splits until just last year. This stuff takes time and consistency. I still do this stretch to this day because I think it is a very good one, but basically in the end don’t get frustrated if you don’t get it first try or even after a few weeks, it takes time and consistency and remember it’s good to push yourself while stretching just don’t do it so that you could get injured slowly but surely you will get your splits you got this❤❤❤
I’ve been working on getting to the splits for 6 months now, and in that time I’ve gone from not being able to touch my toes to getting about 6 inches away from the splits! I’m so proud of myself ❤️ if you started out extremely inflexible just know that you CAN do it!
Have u got them yet? :) I feel like it will take a long time for me like it did for you but how many times a week did you do these stretches? I'm doing them everyday (today is day 4)
Cassie, I’ve been following you for probably over 5 years now and you look so incredibly beautiful, happy and mature. You will forever be my #1 personal coach, both physically and mentally!!💖🌟 Whenever I workout with you I am ALWAYS happy.
I HAVE NEVER DONE AS INTENSE OF A STRETCH AS SHE HAS ME DOING. No Yoga or Pilates classes not even hot yoga has gotten this deep into hips!!! I know this will work!! I’ve got to stay consistent ❤
Maybe no one gonna see this but I just felt that someone would need this. THIS HELLA WORKING! yes it works but it needs a lot of patience and even more practice. Push yourself past you limits (as long as you don't hurt yourself) and you'll get it. Thx Cassey today I got my splits. TYSM💗💗
Okay so I'm one and a half month in and I have about 4 fingers left to touch the ground!!!! I've been doing this about 3-4 times a week and it's really working despite me not having stretched half a muscle this way in 3 years due to an injury. Truly worth it, thank you Cassey!!!
Does anyone else find yoga and stretching videos hard to watch while following along due to the positioning we are in ? 😂 our head is usually down so it's hard to watch the screen in the stretching poses haha! This is so helpful ! Thank you ! Just started but I've been stretching (not this intense) for a long time but ready to progress! Wonderful video and easy to follow 🥲
Hello everyone! Thanks to this video, I did my splits after months of trying!!! I have been doing exercises very rarely for months. Once I started being consistent about it, like exercising every day or 5 days a week, I saw big improvement. The biggest progress happened when I let it go and took a pause (few days or even weeks) after consistently excercising for a month or two. When I started doing exercises again I was mindblown by the improvement! For me, the key was not everyday excercise but finding balance between persistence and letting go. Do not give up and don't be afraid to take a break! Hope this helps :)
This stretching routine is everything!!! I started doing it beginning of dec consistently 3-5 times a week and I am on the ground on the right side and almost there on the left, I will keep going because I want to be perfectly comfortable in them. But thanks for making this video! It is one of the best I have ever found!!
@@Stella-wn3xw Hi there, I don't know about the person that wrote this comment but let me tell you my experience: I was really, heavily, truly *_stiff_* (I am not kidding, a few months ago I couldn't even touch my feet. I was not born flexible at all). Around a month ago I started doing this video around 3 to 5 times a week after finishing my normal workouts. It _works_ and it works wonders. When I started I was around 20 cm off the floor on both legs; now I am 10 cm with the right leg and 6 cm with the left. It might still take some time for me to go all the way down but the improvement is undeniable.
This is your best split video yet! I love how you included active and passive stretches. This will help me do splits with strength and comfort! Can’t wait for the middle splits video!! Can you take us on that journey with you and provide stretches to achieve middle splits!
There are so many videos out there... Yes there's Saturno who's really good, you have also have Lazy dancer tips (she's a ballet dancer and she has some stretches I haven't seen in other videos), there are the Tapp brothers, Anna McNulty, and so many others.
Been doing this routine for over a week now and it's amazing how my pike and my splits improved .. thank you so much for sharing this! Hugs from Argentina!
So I was reading online about how her tik tok of what she eats in a day got into a heated debate. I am so happy she found herself and is happy from where she is. I get that side of the story. The only flaw is see is that tik tok is mostly used by younger kids. And it's those younger kids, that are still growing and needs those calories and vitamins, that are watching that tik tok. I know I had self esteem problems starting at a younger age and so do many of my younger friends and cousins. What we see from influencers at such a young age can change the way we live as well. But I do understand that as an online influencer you cannot avoid any age. I've been with you in your days where people body shamed you for being "too fat" for a fitness person and the days of now. This comment was not to hate you in any way, but maybe help you see another side (if you did not already). Your journey is inspiring and hopefully I can start my own one day. Thank you for all of your workouts and motivation throughout your videos ❤️
I feel like when your famous people will try to find literally anything to bring you down. You know they’ll complain if your fat and they’ll complain if your skinny. Idk I always feel kinda bad for famous people since they can’t do anything without that one person saying they’re terrible. But that doesn’t mean that they should ignore people pointing out a flaw because that flaw could really effect someone and I feel like they should apologize and address the problem without being hurt personally by all the negativity besides their good intentions. Idk if what I typed makes sense but I just wanted to say that I kinda understand what famous people have to deal with and that people should realize that they don’t mean to hurt anybody when they do something in front of the public eye.
@@kronosthewarrior9205 I definitely agree!!! People who are famous are still people. They do what they love to do in order to entertain us, so really we should be thankful and respectful towards famous people (which means to give them their space and freedom). I feel that writing a hate comment is so easy because it's one button way. But cyber bullying exists as well as bullying in general. I understand people have a lot of hate built up, but they should never take out on other people. Also WE ARE ALL PERFECT. The only reason why people see flaws is because people are different. But what made being different sound so bad? Well it's not! Even twins aren't identical. The expectations are getting higher and higher everyday to the point where it gets so hard to breathe. And if you're still reading this I want you to know that it's ok to feel sad, just as much as it's ok for you to feel happy. Life sucks, but it doesn't have to mean that you have to feel sucky too. Just know that everything will really be okay. It just takes a lot of time. Using Cassie as an example. She has been through hills and mountains to be where she is today: A successful, happy, and carefree woman. Yes she still probably has those bad days just like all of us. But going back to what I said earlier. We are all just people living in a crazy world. Love you guys and stay strong and positive!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much Cassey! I actually got into my splits on both sides, my left side hurting more than my right, but I still got there! Because of you! So grateful for your videos!
For the lunge poses, it helps to engage the inner thigh. Imagine that while you're in the pose, you're trying to squeeze your legs together. Another way to think about it is imagine that you're doing the pose over a line on your mat, and you're squeezing your legs towards that. Another thing that helps is to make sure that you're engaging the glute on the back leg and pressing your front foot down into the mat. This helped me keep better balance when I first started doing yoga - the more I did that, the stronger the muscles became until I could keep balance easily. Hope this helps!
guys! This will work, just be consistent! I was so un flexible, and being a dance for seven years. It was so frustrating. But literally having a routine every day or every other day, it will literally become a habit and you will get so flexible so fast. It took me two weeks to be so much farther than I thought I was gonna be, for the first week. I watched this video every single day for the first week. I can probably recite every line for memory, i’ll. But this video literally changed how how much better I could stretch
I am not joking I literally tried this for the first time and I can do the splits, you're amazing keep doing what you're doing I'm really proud of you and thank you so much for all the things that you've done to us!
This is the best split stretching video ever !! It’s so important to hold the stretches for atleast 20-30 seconds like you’re doing 😍😍 yay new favorite video!!
This is an awesome routine! I did it 3 times so far and I always feel very light afterwards. When I did it for the first time though, my legs were dead. After 3 rest days my legs were back to normal and now my legs don't die anymore. Thank you so much for this!
My updates: Day 1:Ok I am amazed to be honest, I am normally not even close to doing front splits .I am more of a middle splits person so I was pretty bad but after doing this for the first time I actually saw improvement and I am proud and will be attempting to do this daily. (Yes, I will be updating. Day 2: I did it with my sister and our thighs are in pain hopefully it will be better tomorrow. Day 3:Ok getting better. Day 4:my thighs. NB:I could not continue editing this so I will come back to this when I am on the floor.
Omg Tysm, after the first day I finally touched the ground (I’ve been stretching for probs a couple months) I also used some other videos but trust me the feeling when you get your split is so amazing it’s such a great accomplishment keep going!
Ok so I know I’m late but if you get the arm that is the opposite side to ur leg and cross it over your front leg and then get your back leg and cross the other arm other it and try putting your hands on the ground it will fix your alinement. Pretentious your hips are head light and you need to see straight in front of you. ( so if your right leg is infront, cross your left arm and hand over it ). Hop this helps!
Wow, I've known for a year or two that I lost the ability to do my splits but I hadn't realise how much flexibility I'd lost! What a challenging but great session. I look forward to tracking my results. Thank you!
This has helped so much! I started doing these stretches on my right leg and I've already seen a lot of improvement! I really recommend this stretching video of your looking to do the splits!
Cassey, I love your vids but I have a recommendation! As a professional dancer, choreographer and also a runner, it’s super important to begin with a dynamic warm-up that elevates the heart rate in order to actually get warm! Before stretching I’d recommend a run or high knees, burpees, mountain climbers, squats, planks, alternating lunges etc to get the blood flowing and activate the entire body in order to loosen up!
@herpos derpos ummm everyone should LOL! As a professional dancer and athlete, I know several individuals who have torn muscles and gotten major injuries due to poor quality warm ups and diving right into stretches! Super important to loosen up the body via light cardio first!
I was following a stretch-to-split routine from an app, but I'll abandon that and follow this video now, because I prefer Cassey's routines and explanations so much more!
I only stopped in to see if it was possible to do. I was thrown in when the dog kept coming with the toy. He made the video fun to watch. She and her dog are partners perfect for many videos.
I will definitely be trying this stretch today! However, this is like, your 5th splits video. I get releasing an updated one to keep it current, but can we get some arm stretches too? I have really tense shoulders and get back and neck pain but finding a good upper body stretching video is so difficult!! Id LOVE it if you did at least one! Thank you for all you do, love your stuff.
Love this stretch video, and I will definitely be using it again! I’m not very close to my splits, but this video really encouraged me and I can’t wait to continue stretching along side you and George❤️Thank you!!
Hello! I was trying to do the splits then I put my arms up and I got super close and then I did it again and could do the splits. You should try it! :D
Thank you! I wish you would do the middle splits video even if you're not there yet. You are always so perfect at all that you do but not being there yet can be really motivational for others to see too since we are all working towards a goal together!
Same! It would look more realistic to us who are trying to do it. Getting into the positions is hard for this video cause idk what I’m supposed to look like. I’m not as flexible as her so there’s no way I would look like her. I wish she would upload how she’s trying to get the middle splits cause that would be a lot easier to follow.
After about 2 weeks of doing this routine every day I can confirm I am millimeters away from my right split, I can hold my right split as long as she does for the full time she does doing all of the movements. I have been able to hold the pike fully for the first time also today and I am so happy. I am also closer (not close) to my left split after 2 weeks. I have been a dancer for 12 years now and have never been very flexible in my legs and have never been able to do the splits before this video. Just shows patience is key with these things.
A lot of people have been doing this, so I thought I’d do it too. They’ve been keeping track of their splits by doing this video every day for a week, so heres mine… Day 1=12cm left leg, 2cm right leg didn’t feel very natural Day 2=11cm left leg, 1cm right leg Day 3= I stayed the same on my left leg but it felt a lot smoother, all the way on my right leg!! I’m so happy and would recommend this to everyone 🥳🥳 I felt a big stretch but I was so proud and my best friend was on FaceTime and supporting me. Me and my best friend have made a rule that we are going to do this everyday at night and get our splits together! Day 4=felt a bit smoother right leg, 9cm left leg this is working so well! Day 5=My knee isn’t feeling great so I didn’t do it Day 6=a little bit smoother on my right but I felt tight as I didn’t do it yesterday, 8.5cm left leg! I could really tell how tight I was so I would do this regularly to keep your splits perfect 👌 Day 7= I was all the way on my right leg and it felt so much smoother :) my left leg was 8cm but my knee has been hurting a lot lately so I couldn’t do spilts for long I really really recommend this to everyone I feel so refreshed and will update you when I’m all the way on both legs Good luck everyone xx
Thank you for this video. I've always been able to do splits but since my hamstring injury last year, they just don't feel good anymore, and since i'm an aerialist that makes me very sad. I'm gonna try your routine every day and i really think that it will help me getting my splits back. Also great that you really take your time in every stretch. thank you.
@@Sayj14I’m rly late but if you stopped stretching and stuff you can lose your splits and you have to stretch again to get them back same thing happend to me 😊
Hello people! I will be doing this daily until I get the splits and I'll be updating this everytime until I get there!! Before stretch 1: i am not flexible at all, like i cant even touch my toes, I'm probably like 60 cm off the ground (literally the least flexible person ever) and yea! Stretch 1: still can't touch my toes and I'm really tired and was shakey the whole time. Stretch 2: less tired, am closer to touching my toes but still not there. Definitely feel lower and looser in my lunges but still to high to even measure my splits. Stretch 3: bad stretch day today. Feels like I made no progress, still can't touch my toes and overall no motivation.
i'm so thankful for this video. i'm a dancer desperately trying to get into her splits. i've seen this video many times, but avoided since the length of the video was so long. today i tried it for the first time, and i loved it. i love how you keep on talking and supporting, it makes me feel better and helps me get trough the stretches. i become frustrated in most stretching videos, bujt even though this was three times longer than the others, i made it trough far more easily than others, because you talking keeps me engaged, i love it. ps: my dog's name is malla
Wow! Who knew what a difference pushing my knees into the mat would make!! That and you're SO right abt having a block or pillow underneath you when you do the splits. Once you feel that you can rock into them and ease into them, it really does make a BIG difference! I'm telling you, I am going to be able to do full splits by next month!! Thx Cassey!! #Blogilates #SplitDecision #PopPilates #PopArmy xoxoJJ
abinaya b since I was already lean, I noticed slight changes. I wanted to sculpt more, but since the excercises were with body weight, I didn’t notice much change there.
Hi! I don't know if this helps but I counted out the secounds Wide leg fold - 60 sec Wide leg fold strech - 30 sec for each side Pike - 120 sec Low lunge triangle - 60 sec Low lunge to straight knee - 45 sec Lizard circle - 40 sec for each direction Low lunge arm up - 60 sec Quad strech - 100 sec Maybe you could count while you do it ? They may not be 100% but I they're pretty close i think.
OMAIGAD FRIDAY, AUGUST THE 23TH FIVE MONTHS YOU GUYS FIVE MONTHS AND I GOT MY SPLIT Okokok wait don’t panic. I started my “back to flexibility after quitting figure skating” journey five months ago (guess quarantine did something for me yayy). I’ve been stretching every single day since March, and about a month ago I started to actually try the split (with the guidance of some gymnastic friends). I stopped trying to do the actual split about two weeks ago due to lower back pain, but I didn’t stop stretching (of course I avoided exercises that felt painful in my back, this is mean to be healthy guyyyys). AND TODAY OMAIGOD YOU GUYS I TRIED THIS VIDEO FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I WENT DOWN SO SMOOTHLYYYYYY CASEY YOU ARE AWESOMEEEEEEE THAT ACCOMPLISHMENT AFTER HALF A YEAR OF HARD WORK😭 I’m sure that being consistent with this video will quick up the process, BUT YOU NEED TO BE PERSISTANT GUYS ENJOY EVERY SINGLE INCH YOU REDUCE FORM THE SPACE THAT SEPARATES YOU FROM THE GROUND
@@kasienka__ depends on your flexibility if you're flexible you can do it in a week or few days but if you're midiocre the maybe two weeks or more and if you're not flexible at all it could take a month or more. Also depends on how regularly you do the stretches every day once or twice a day.

A beautiful Routine. I felt a big improvement for achieving the splits. I'm still far from achieving it, but I want to repeat this routine often. I'm sure I'll reach the split soon. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 Grazie mille - Thank you so Much 🙏
i've been consistent with this video for 3-4 days and i can say that my hips are slowwwwwly starting to open up. the splits arent perfect yet, but like you said, enjoy the journey.😌😌
I’m 22, have a 1 year old, and work from home practically sitting all day. I have always wanted to be able to do the splits, and right now I have suuuper tight hamstrings and can not even touch my toes in the pike with a straight back. I’m going to do this until I get my splits and will update every Friday. I know there are no middle stretches in here but I wanted to see if these stretches have any effect. Jan 12th: Right leg 8in. Left leg 9 1/2in. Middle 9in Jan 21st: this week was more about learning than progressing. I felt like I didn’t have good form until I saw a tip about squaring your hips where you pull the back leg hip forward and push the front leg hip back. That made me feel like I was doing it right. Also switching your starting leg everyday helps keep things a little more even in my opinion. I was starting with my right like the video and my left leg just kept feeling so tight until I had started with my left one day and for me it felt way better to alternate from then on. Right leg: 7in Left leg: 8in Middle: 9in
The little puppy is so adorable! My first time doing the video and I’m not at all close to the floor but I’m excited to practice frequently each week 😊
I am starting this on December 29 2020. I’ll update this everyday to show you my progress. I have no experience whatsoever, I’m not even flexible at all and can’t even do easy stretches. As of right now I am 30cm from the ground. Ikr I suck. Day 1: Stretches felt good, super tired after first few stretches. Can’t even touch my toes, my legs can’t reach that far and it hurts like shit. I took like 5 minute breaks in between each stretch cuz it hurt and my body was sore. Day 2: I had a foot injury so I couldn’t exercise Day 3: I had a foot injury so I couldn’t exercise Day 4: Exercises seemed a bit easier from what I remember, I took 5 minute breaks less often and it didn’t hurt as much as before. Day 5: I can already reach farther into my feet, really happy about this. It doesn’t hurt at all now but it does make me a bit sore. Maybe because I’m doing this after a workout but yes. Day 6: I can reach my toes now :) my back is getting really straight and the pain is replaced with relaxation. I reallyyy felt a stretch in my legs today. Accidentally pulled a muscle in my neck but lmao but still got through the workout strong 💪🏻 Day: 7 I was on my period for a week and it hurt so bad I couldn’t breathe. So say 7-15 i didn’t do anything.
@@nya5934 bro thank you oh my god I’ve been trying to find my comment to update but I couldn’t find it so I just stopped updating. I can do the splits now but still can’t fully reach the ground, about 3cm away :))

Ok so I have been a dancer for abt 2 years still wanting to get my splits and these stretches are working sooo much! I already feel so MOTIVATED AND SO MUCH MORE FLEXIBLE! I totally recommend this video and blogitates! Thankyou so much for these stretches!❤😊
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you making this video. It's my favorite splits practice video. I really feel it the next day! I let myself do easy stretches when I'm sore, then come back to this video to feel the sore again. I just sit in my (not yet) splits when it gets to that part, I can't quite do the upper body movements yet! I love George, my girl Scout loves to stretch with me too 😂
I love the fact so much that you remind us to not push ourselves to hard and remind us that it's fine to not be so flexible. I feel like many people just used to force the stretches (I used to too) and this approach is so much better, because you enjoy it!

I mean it hurt like a bit*h but the way she encouraged me kept me going throughout the whole half splits exercise helped, A LOT. I love how she made me feel relaxed and confident in my "splits" even though I can't do them yet. The last exercise was intense, I agree, but she realy helped me not to think about it.

this is just my personal experience, so it might not be the same for anyone else. but if you’re really trying, you’ll see results very quickly.

Day 6: i went down 1.5cm on each again so now b its about 9cm from the ground
Day 7: about 8cm on both sides

I've been doing this strech almost every day for 2 weeks and I am slowly slowly getting closer to doing the splits! Amazing, thank u so much Cassie!
Update? :)
How old are you?
Were you a dancer, or were you flexible before you started? Also I am 9 inches off of the ground, do you think I can do it
@@Stella-wn3xw Hi there, I don't know about the person that wrote this comment but let me tell you my experience: I was really, heavily, truly *_stiff_* (I am not kidding, a few months ago I couldn't even touch my feet.
How long did it take 🤗 I want to do it how long

I love this comment! Very thoughtful :)
@@lindayy95 Thank you!!! Just hoping that we can all spread the love to one another😊
I feel like when your famous people will try to find literally anything to bring you down.
Ada Moua ❤️ thanks I needed that
Thank you so much Cassey! I actually got into my splits on both sides, my left side hurting more than my right, but I still got there! Because of you! So grateful for your videos!
My main issue is not the stretching it’s being able to balance especially in the one where you raise your arms I’m always falling all over the place
Same
Same I feel like as you get more flexible the easier it will be to stay balanced during the stretches
@@a.b.cooper4807 thanks this is super useful I’ll try it out next time 😊

I'm serious when I tell you that dog was giving me so much motivation. And thanks for the fantastic workout
I thought it was just me lol
A lot of people have been doing this, so I thought I’d do it too. They’ve been keeping track of their splits by doing this video every day for a week, so heres mine…
Day 1=12cm left leg, 2cm right leg didn’t feel very natural
Day 2=11cm left leg, 1cm right leg
Day 3= I stayed the same on my left leg but it felt a lot smoother, all the way on my right leg!!
Day 5=My knee isn’t feeling great so I didn’t do it
Day 6=a little bit smoother on my right but I felt tight as I didn’t do it yesterday, 8.5cm left leg! I could really tell how tight I was so I would do this regularly to keep your splits perfect 👌
Day 7= I was all the way on my right leg and it felt so much smoother :) my left leg was 8cm but my knee has been hurting a lot lately so I couldn’t do spilts for long
I really really recommend this to everyone I feel so refreshed and will update you when I’m all the way on both legs
Good luck everyone xx

Yayy thanks!!! I’m about to finish the 28 day summer sculpt program TODAY! I wanna thank you so much Cassey for making me feel motivated❤️

hi did you find any changes in weight, inch loss etc from doing the summer sculpt program??
abinaya b since I was already lean, I noticed slight changes. I wanted to sculpt more, but since the excercises were with body weight, I didn’t notice much change there.
i wish there was a timer; i find it hard to concentrate when there is no clear end in sight.
Hi! I don't know if this helps but I counted out the secounds
Wide leg fold - 60 sec
Wide leg fold strech - 30 sec for each side
Pike - 120 sec
Low lunge triangle - 60 sec
Low lunge to straight knee - 45 sec
Lizard circle - 40 sec for each direction
Low lunge arm up - 60 sec
Quad strech - 100 sec
Maybe you could count while you do it ? They may not be 100% but I they're pretty close i think.
@@W-I463 that's so nice of you
@@W-I463 I agree with Asma, you're very kind
@Iqra wraich What a legend
Iqra wraich for president
I've been doing these stretches for a few weeks now and already feel more flexible. Thanks for the guidance.

FRIDAY, AUGUST THE 23TH
FIVE MONTHS YOU GUYS
FIVE MONTHS AND I GOT MY SPLIT
Okokok wait don’t panic. AND TODAY OMAIGOD YOU GUYS I TRIED THIS VIDEO FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I WENT DOWN SO SMOOTHLYYYYYY
CASEY YOU ARE AWESOMEEEEEEE THAT ACCOMPLISHMENT AFTER HALF A YEAR OF HARD WORK😭 I’m sure that being consistent with this video will quick up the process, BUT YOU NEED TO BE PERSISTANT GUYS ENJOY EVERY SINGLE INCH YOU REDUCE FORM THE SPACE THAT SEPARATES YOU FROM THE GROUND
Who else is looking through the comments looking to see if this works? Lol.
lol same
Me😂
Yeah. But I'm lokking how long it takes.
@@kasienka__ depends on your flexibility if you're flexible you can do it in a week or few days but if you're midiocre the maybe two weeks or more and if you're not flexible at all it could take a month or more.
Also depends on how regularly you do the stretches every day once or twice a day.
meeeeeeeeeeeee
cassey! i just finished my workouts and been stretching my hamstrings when i got the notification, 30 minutes? i am in! gonna do it right now! thank you. you are amazing 🧡

I always come back to this video. This is self care for me. Feels so good to complete this video and I can still feel the stretch the next morning!
4 months later, I do versions of this sequence as much as possible and now my splits are all the way down.
A beautiful Routine. I felt a big improvement for achieving the splits.
I'm still far from achieving it, but I want to repeat this routine often. I'm sure I'll reach the split soon.
❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Grazie mille - Thank you so Much 🙏
i've been consistent with this video for 3-4 days and i can say that my hips are slowwwwwly starting to open up. the splits arent perfect yet, but like you said, enjoy the journey.😌😌
Middle 9in
Jan 21st: this week was more about learning than progressing.
Right leg: 7in
Left leg: 8in
Middle: 9in
The little puppy is so adorable! My first time doing the video and I’m not at all close to the floor but I’m excited to practice frequently each week 😊
As a flyer in cheer, this has helped me so much!
Day 2: I had a foot injury so I couldn’t exercise
Day 3: I had a foot injury so I couldn’t exercise
Day 4: Exercises seemed a bit easier from what I remember, I took 5 minute breaks less often and it didn’t hurt as much as before.
Accidentally pulled a muscle in my neck but lmao but still got through the workout strong 💪🏻
Day: 7 I was on my period for a week and it hurt so bad I couldn’t breathe. So say 7-15 i didn’t do anything.
Good luck!! I’m trying to get my splits too and I swear I’m the most inflexible person there is!
Where are you with it now?
@@nya5934 bro thank you oh my god I’ve been trying to find my comment to update but I couldn’t find it so I just stopped updating. I can do the splits now but still can’t fully reach the ground, about 3cm away :))
@@cecesvn how long did it take you to get the splits??
@@nikolettathymaki8214 Fully doing the splits it took me 3 months lol
Split updates

Day 4:✅ I have improved on my right leg more and gif from 3 to 2 blocks and I was able to go down a bit more
Day 5: ✅ worked on my right split today only
Did u get it fully
I've always struggled with flexibility, but this video gives me hope. Looking forward to my stretching journey.
i’m sorry i could only pay attention to the dog so so so cute

Sir George!!!
🙄🙄🙄🙄 I like the dog but we are doing a step-by-step split, it is not fair to have to have a posture and the count is not taken seriously 😫😭

Tania Fragoso kkkkk dude chill, relax a little bit
Ok so I have been a dancer for abt 2 years still wanting to get my splits and these stretches are working sooo much! I already feel so MOTIVATED AND SO MUCH MORE FLEXIBLE! I totally recommend this video and blogitates! Thankyou so much for these stretches!❤😊
Thank you so much for this video! I’ve been using this video the past week. I’m going to get the splits!
I feel like many people just used to force the stretches (I used to too) and this approach is so much better, because you enjoy it!
ok so i was super super flexible like 5 yrs ago and then i stopped stretching and this video got back my splits within the first 15 mins so thank you!!!
Lol love how George keeps looking back at the camera! He’s adorable! 🥰
Thank you so much!
Im a late starter ballet dancer and after doing this strech for a week i have managed my front splits
I mean it hurt like a bit*h but the way she encouraged me kept me going throughout the whole half splits exercise helped, A LOT. I love how she made me feel relaxed and confident in my "splits" even though I can't do them yet. The last exercise was intense, I agree, but she realy helped me not to think about it.
wow this is intense, its more than a stretch to me, its almost like a workout Hahah
Oh my gosh thank you! Farthest splits I've ever gotten!
I have watched this video so many times for my spilts and it’s working so well!
I watched it so much that now I know every word she says lol
Love ur vids Casey !
