Becoming Gardener - no dig vegetable garden with a tiny house

  • After completing their studies in 2013, Robert Špiler and Tjaša Štruc, decided to build a little house on a forest clearing. In addition they established a food garden and at the age of 22 began to live their simple life, hand in hand with the Mother Nature.
They combine Tjaša’s academic knowledge (MA in Biology and Ecology) and Robert’s practical work in the gardens throughout Slovenia.

For now I have the opportunity to stay at the job I did beside my studies, and get a higher position even without a finished education! I will just see if this works out. I have my balcony garden as a counterpart and spend a lot of time in int. It just makes me feel so happy and alive. I'll see if there is a future for me at my current workplace, and I am satisfied with the work I will stay there. If not my plan is to start an education to become a gardener

I wish the best for all of you guys but watch out... gardening it's not a secure way out... it feels good and it's relaxing but it's unstable and sesonal work... this amount it's enough for cutting living expenses and share some vegetables with people but out of those 3 months of production (to make things simpler) you should make money to live for an entire year and covering expenses... i will not speak more... i just don't want you guys going bankrupt because of some feeling

I love this video. It's amazing that people still don't realize that having less is having so much more. Food is regarded as just something to stay alive for so many people. They invest their time and money on new cars and big homes. Once I figured out this was an endless cycle I made all aspects of food my pass time. Growing, preparing, and preserving is all the entertainment you could ever ask for.
