I've had very mixed results from Temu. If you keep in mind it's the cheapest of the cheap (quality wise) some stuff can be useful. Also reviewed a bit of their garden stuff if you wanted to take a look 🙂
Temu is a information selling company ( parent company that runs it ). They make little to nothing on their item sales. The sales come in the form of selling your info which is the big dollars. Secure payment method = you going around the system 👍 Plastic bird water is useless but everything else seems usable!
@@ChristieCooper I have the app on an old phone with zero personal info on it. I check my router bandwidth and it sends x3 more data at Idle prior to install of the Temu app So its 100% actively doing things in the background . That phones email and ads by Temu is very active.
I don't think you understand how TEMU works. It's just like Amazon. Businesses sell on TEMU. TEMU aggregates small businesses from China and they sell through TEMU.
I think temu quality is just like you'd get at bunnings or mitre10 hardware. I think a lot of those big brand hardware and garden centre's buy from the same source as temu. Sometimes it's a hit and miss.
Yeah there are heaps of different suppliers so you're spot on with hit and miss. I think the most important thing is to protect your personal/credit card information, avoid downloading the app and just "shop aware"!
The pea trellis is pretty cool! Rockwool is really hard to find good stuff, there's only one manufacturer that makes top quality rockwool and thats the Dutch company Grodan (where Gathera gets theirs). Temu itself spend huge amounts of money on google ads, which outbid companies like ours and make it unprofitable to compete. Its not necessarily that their products are better tha nours - its just that ours don't even pop up when you search for them because Temu is spending so much money to have their products shown. They lose $30 per order, and are backed by the Chinese government who support them to keep people employed - of course at the cost of Aussie businesses. On the plus side, they do have incredibly cheap prices for the consumer, buy m bet is that they'll wipe out all local competition, and then crank up prices once they're gone.
Hey, Influencer...teach your little boy to treat women with respect because he has invaded your space and without correction will grow up to think that's how men treat women. And before you all at me...she could have at any time stopped the camera and corrected his behaviour or had him leave the room.

I’ll check it out, thanks!

I worry about how much they push people to download the app too - enabling an app on your phone can give them access to heaps more information!

I'm NEVER going there...but thanks for your honesty
No worries at all!

Thanks, yes that’s correct they currently have more than 80 000 different suppliers.
You can trust Amazon with your info and credit card info but you cannot trust Temu.
That was really interesting, thanks for your honest review and online security tips. I think a lot of people will find this helpful 💚
Glad it was helpful!
When shopping you REALLY need to read carefully, I also have my handy measuring tape and always read the reviews.
Measuring tape is a great idea!
Well said, love your reasoning.
Thanks Bob ☺️
Finally a useful review👏👏
Glad you liked it!

Great insight, thank you! You have to wonder what their long term plan is because that can’t possibly be a sustainable business model!
I’ve bought from this company once and overall was good.
Glad to hear you had a good experience ☺️
Temu products have poor quality, from the clothes to gadgets and everything else. I am talking thru experience. Never again.
Thanks for sharing Jane!
All that horrible plastic packaging - yuck 🤮 And travel miles 😢
There is definitely a lot of unnecessary plastic 👎🏼
You missing out on opportunities 😅
I know 😂

You and I teach love and respect differently. That’s ok. You do you, I’ll do me ☺️
