    A very high quality company called Mountain Rose Herbs has lovely bulk leaf tea and blends on it. I feel like you would like the herb Motherwort. It is a great herbal tea to blend with chamomile and rose.

      I think it depends on your existing hormones whether Raspberry Leaf tea will help or harm you. I’m going through menopause and Raspberry Leaf was horrible for me, it caused a horrendous down mood that was very unpleasant to endure.

      @@RoseCottageColleen hi thanks for responding - what has helped me unexpectedly is a very small amount of testosterone gel applied to my skin every day, and staying away from any estrogenic foods like soy, garbanzo beans, etc. Yes you’re right we all have very different hormonal balance. The testosterone was my gynecologists idea, it was an amazing improvement in mood, energy, etc. She told me it can especially help women during perimenopause or menopause who’ve had endometriosis. I don’t usually use medications or any chemicals, but I’m making an exception for this one!

    I love drinking nettle tea. Also mullein leaf tea is a great support for lung issues and can deal with gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Thank you for the reminder about red raspberries nutritive value. I’m 64 and kind of thought that was for younger women’s support. Love my herbal infusions!

    In Melbourne, Australia I was looking at the frozen berries I like to buy. The raspberries are more expensive than blueberries and blackberries. In Winter here, fresh are way too expensive. The same sounds right for raspberry tea being so good for you. I haven’t done many combinations but will watch you now for good tips,

    Thanks for the nice video. I use a lot of tea bag "herbal infusion" teas. The republic of tea and traditional medicines bagged teas do very well on keeping the bags safe and paper not plastic. I want to start using loose herbal teas though. I use a lot of chamomile and lemon balm teas. They help me calm down and actually help me deal with hyperthyroidism. Hopefully with gaps this will resolve too over time

    Marisa your baby is so cute 🥰 - question - how long do you think it’s ok to leave tea steeping? And then how long is it ok to keep tea around after it’s made? For context, I make hibiscus tea every day because it successfully keeps my blood pressure down. I use the same “organic” brand you have there, 1 tbsp to a pot, and let steep for 30 mins or so. Then I pour the tea into a glass quart jar and add it to my water all day. But I never know how long it’s safe to do this before maybe bacteria could start to grow.

    • @BumblebeeApothecary
      @BumblebeeApothecary  2 роки тому

      Thank you! I leave it to steep around 15 minutes, and then if I want to keep it longer than a couple hours or so, store it in the fridge for a few days :)

    That throat coat tea is AWESOME!! My favorite is spearmint tea and the hubby likes lemon tea (made from real lemon, not tea bags.) The red rasberry leaf tea gives me headaches because my hormones are out of wack. Is there a specific time of the month I should avoid it?

    • @BumblebeeApothecary
      @BumblebeeApothecary  2 роки тому +1

      I'm guessing the raspberry is triggering some liver detox, which could cause the headache. I would figure out the timing by journaling. Hope this helps!

    Hi Marrisa, I know it's not about tea but I need your help. I am on Gaps stage 2 and my Autistic boy is now eating as much as before. He can have two bowls of Carrot soup🙆🙆, he used to eat carbs only before. Is this normal?. He is eating too much.

    • @wtfhappenedtome

      Your son might be craving carrots because they are a high carb veggie and feeding yeast. The yeast wants to be fed, it creates cravings, which are always a sign.

      Carrots should be okay on stage 2, and he probably likes them for the carbs. They will feed yeast to some degree, but that's also okay to some degree. I would try to expand the variety as you can to more vegetables. Also, as long as he's having the carrot soup, add as many good things as you can to it! Egg yolks, kefir cream, animal fat, etc. Those nutrients will help progress be made :) Feel free to message me if you have questions!
