오늘은 최근에, 연주회에서 연주하였던 천유펑의 에튀드 8번 곡인데요, 이 작곡가는
드라마, 영화, 게임 음악쪽에서 활발히 활동하고 계신 현역 작곡가 입니다.
특히 중국RPG게임 "원신" 으로 인해 매우 유명해지신 분입니다.
이 곡은 작곡가 본인이 피아노 공부를 하고있을때 쓰여진 곡이라는 얘기가 있으며, 피아노 전공의 작곡이 아님에도 불구하고
상당히 우수한 작품입니다. 곡이 우수한거와는 별개로 곡의 난이도도 상당히 까다러웠네요ㅠㅠ
이번에는 처음으로 예전에 구입한 전자피아노로 녹음을 시도해보았습니다.
전자피아노다 보니 연주하는데에 있어서 불편한감이 없지않아 있지만, 그래도 음색이 매우예뻐서 나름 재밌게
연주했네요 ㅎㅎ (간간히 미스나, 부자연스러운 진행은 미디를 통해 수정작업을 했습니다.)

Greetings, everybody! Long time no see!
Today I'm going to introduce a piece which I played live recently - it's Étude No. 8 "Dream of Rachmaninoff" by Yu-Peng Chen (陈致逸 Chen Zhiyi). He is a professional composer for dramas, films, and games, and he has participated in the Chinese RPG "Genshin Impact". This piece allegedly was written while he was studying for the piano, and is, in fact, fairly excellent even though he is NOT major in piano. (It was quite difficult, though...)
This time I tried recording on a digital piano. It was a bit uncomfortable compared to my grand piano, but its tone was superbly beautiful, so I had a great time with it. Wrong notes and unnatural passages were modified through MIDI program.

Yu-Peng Chen is a genius composer. He also composes Genshin Impact soundtracks which are crazily good to listen to.
Yes! He is truly genius.
Having heard the original version by counteless times, it's quite a pleasure to listen to your own interpretations, beatifully executed...
I love Yu Peng so much!! He literally pulled me out of the darkest holes i fell into at times

I recommend Sergei Bortkiewicz's Prelude Op. 33 No. 8. I really touches the soul. The composer was taught by a student of Liszt

yes!!! i hope you record all the other etudes as well, i've always wondered why aren't we getting human recordings of these etudes... these pieces are so delightful!
Yes! His etudes are amazing.
I practiced already no.1,2,3 but, I need to more consider about playing them.

원신으로만 알았는데 게임음악 디렉터인데 수상할 정도로 클래식에 조예가 깊더라니 이런 곡도 썼군요
기분탓인진 모르겠는데 도입부 부터 라흐의 느낌이 물씬 나는 느낌...천유펑이라는 작곡가는 첨 들어보는데 라흐의 정열적이고 낭만적인 느낌이 너무 잘들려서 놀랬습니다...
인정합니다 ㅎㅎ
전자피아노에서 이런 소리가 날 줄은 정말 몰랐는데 역시 고수는 장비를 가리지 않네요 ㅜㅜ BGM 주로 작곡하시는 분들의 대표 소품집들은 어딘가 모르게 실용음악 냄새가 나서 아쉬웠는데 이 작품은 클래식 작곡의 느낌이 물씬 풍겨서 너무 좋아요 ㅎㅎ 입시 끝나면 꼭 쳐봐야겠습니다
원래 전자 피아노가 녹음은 깔끔하게 나오긴 합니다

CLP 디지털피아노로 이정도로 섬세하고 폭넓은 표현이 가능하다는걸 처음 알았습니다
곡도 곡이지만 연주하시는 음색까지 라흐마니노프곡처럼 묵직하다가 서늘(?)하다가 참 듣기 좋네요 :)

I see you started using a decent Yamaha digital piano lately, with the Garritan CFX too!

,Cakewalk라는 DAW프로그램을 사용해서 녹음하였습니다 ㅎㅎ

have you messed around with the first etude in this set? I'd be curious to see how your fingerings are since I'm finding that piece surprisingly challenging to play at speed
Yes. First etude is quite uncomfortable.
