Weathering a 1/6 scale ROC Hobby RC Jeep - Part 1

This 1/6 scale radio controlled WWII Jeep is by ROC Hobby, and it is a BLAST! Me being me, I had to make it better.... previous to this video, it was repainted with actual Jeep paint (33070), and re-stenciled using stencils from Noosta Direct in England. The markings now match what are on my father and I's 1944 Willys MB.
This episode is about weathering and chipping the Jeep, as no jeep remained perfect! I use model paints; specifically plain silver. The key is to go SLOW and LIGHT! I wipe off and dry most of the paint on the brush, so it is a "dry brush" technique.

Appreciate your way of weathering, nice ground colour too. My inspiration for this art is a guy from Slovakia , named "Night Shift". He has tons of vids, masterly painted Tanks, vehicles, dioramas. Superb specialist on all materials. Greetings from Austria.

My apologies for the delay! Its fairly easy to take apart, however you may have to cut some wires. The stencils are from NOOSTA DIRECT in England.

That paint makes all the difference! How well is the paint holding onto the plastic?

In the beginning, the green paint peeled off, but the weathering is sticking except on the rubber wheels

I used 33070, it was the same paint used on our 1944 Willys Jeep
