    Sir Francis Galton the creator of modern eugenics. Bad bad man. Cake or no cake.

      @RobespierreThePoof 2 місяці тому

      Eugenics wasn't an inherently evil notion. It was based on flawed science and its applications became increasingly atrocious.
      It's destined to return with the benefit of genetics given that the potential to eliminate hereditary illnesses and health problems is almost entirely uncontroversial.

    110 was not chosen as anyone's favorite number, but that doesn't mean it was necessarily the least favorite number. Maybe it was second on everybody's list. We don't know. Maybe if the survey had also asked for least favorite number, the respondents would have chosen something else. Like 62. Yeah, 62. That bastard.

      You've essentially outlined the case for using preferential voting systems over plurality voting systems. Unfortunately, the average voter is barely intelligent and informed enough to tick a single box, let alone ranking the candidates.

    My birthday day date is the 7th. I knew it was my golden birthday, so I held it as the lucky number for me. After my first decade of time, I realized not to choose that because the vast majority has. So it depends on what I'm using it for pretty much.

      But the recent crime problem in Sweden is fairly serious. There's no point denying that.
