I'm going to watch the movie "Salt" on this bad boy Wednesday. I've had this player for about 5 years now and I love it. It plays DVDs, Blu Rays, 4K Blu Rays, and even .MKV files from a flash drive!
4K discs should be region free always, with some exceptions, thankfully, it looks like for the latest discs, they don't do these stupid regioblocks anymore
Hello, I have a question, does it play music CDs with screen off like a CD player? This is one of only few blu-ray players that still have LCD screen and playing CDs is probably only reason I would like it, if it doesn't work like that, then I don't need LCD.
I am unaware of any dimming screen oj the display, but that does not mean it does not have it since i don’t play my CDs on it. Your best bet is to consult Panasonic’s website and if you cannot find the answer, ask them yourself. Sorry I can’t be of more assistance, but i appreciate your watching and commenting.
@@genreonlinenet It should work with TV off, from some other videos, I see that whatever you insert into the drive, it starts playing automatically and if not, you just press play on remote control, so it should work. Ofcourse I can just turn TV on to see what's going on, but it's not needed for audio CDs.
Not even sell it, it's hard to find it, at least in Europe, it's sold out everywhere because this is probably the last player with LCD screen and with analog auidio out and it's not sony that freezes by reviews. They just don't care about physical discs anymore. I want to buy blu-ray player because I am angry and disapointed by streaming services, shows are constantly disapearing and it's worse and worse, I am tired of it. I actually have 3 blu-ray drives in my computers, but it's very hard to play original blu-ray discs, it works only in paid software that cost more than physical blu-ray player and it's hard to crack it, so it's better to buy actual blu-ray player.
Very nice player and OLED TV. Though Im waiting for Panasonic to start selling their OLED TV in the Americas before I get one of these. Panasonic still make the very best Video products
