Thank You! This worked for me in the U.S. on my UK Arrow Hellraiser Blu-Ray Set! It took a few tries. it works best once you first see the screen pop after hitting the home button then smash that Top Menu Button repeatedly.
It works on my UB450 and UB820 just by pressing STOP, then TOP MENU twice on the remote on everything apart from Kino Lorber and Shout Selects. Have you tried Kino Lorber?
I know, on some Panasonic players. Just close the tray with the number button that corresponds with the region code 1=A 2=B and so on instead of close tray and the discs work perfectly.

has anyone tried this with Need for Speed 3D blu ray on the Panny 820? Mine is regina B locked and tried this technique over and over and still get the warning that it's region locked
Hi, mate. I just got this player recently and I was just wondering... in the TV settings on the player there is an option to switch between NTSC or PAL. The player by default is set to NTSC but since I'm in the UK shouldn't it be set to PAL or does it make no difference to the aspect ratio of DVD's/Blurays?
@@BigPauly So would it make any difference with DVD's? Would the region of DVD have any effect? I noticed with my last Sony player I had to switch the player to "fixed aspect ratio" in order to get the full picture on region 0 DVD's or I lost a bit of picture on the sides.
It's a blue ray , he said that at the start when he is explaining he has two players. It's the blu ray disc on the 4k player. Majority of 4k films are region free wherever bought.
I have an LG UBK-90 4K player that plays DVD's, Blu-rays, and 4K's from here in USA, Japan, England, Australia, Hong Kong, Italy, etc. Next, I'd like to own an LG UBK-M9 4K player that's multi region.
Correct ,but better than having a mod. In the old days you could make most blu ray players region free , as I did with my Sony player ,you used a Nokia phone with infra red to do that. Lol
Pauly I think you have Panasonic remotes mixed up. The last remote you showed (small one) is for the 820 & big one is for region free Panasonic. But I guess it doesn't matter as there both the same manfacturer.

i have a Panasonic DP-UB450 and doesn't work. I don't know how long this hack has been around but I recently updated the firmware because the 4K of Once upon a time in the west had problems during playback so maybe Panasonic changed something that hack doesn't work anymore.
