Finally found one of these, i was so happy. Cashier said $271.00. Put it back, i was so sad.
That’s insane for a shelf bottle. They took awhile but are finally dropping in Pa for 68.89 a bottle. When I’m in NM for work they are always on the shelf for usually 75ish I hope you find one soon as the supply goes up the price will fall

Did they differ much between the barrels/bottles?
@shmoo1000 a little but not a lot. One was a little sweeter. All 3 were excellent. I just opened another one a few weeks ago and it's also excellent. If you can find one a highly recommend picking it up.

I agree one of the best ryes and it’s one of the best available high end ryes and availability is only going up. That’s an awesome price what state has it that low? Lowest I’ve seen was 64

I get the Sagamore Cask Strength for 39 in my area and the Double Oak for 60ish. I will absolutely get the Jack when it shows up, but it is going to have to be damn special to beat either of the Sagamore's.
Absolutely it is I love Sagamore huge fan myself. I think some of the sagamore specials would beat this JD BP rye for sure but I think the JD would beat the shelfer sagamores. All bets are off though on picks

Was available as store pick along with the purchase of two other store pic rye's passed on it since hopefully down the road it be generally available.
It should be around for sure soon. That said store pick versions of it will be even better just like the regular gold label store picks are usually better than shelfers

You know it probably is but I drank that bottle and it’s gone lol so I can’t check. I think I got that at the Kelly’s on San tuabo or something like that

Did you say 'MAPLE Banana !!' ? I blinded the 2023 against the Heritage last night - pretty much a toss up however if you really love Maple Banana I suspect you're going to like the 23 much better. For $62 I may pour it on my Cheerios in the morning.
Haha almost cheaper than milk! I only tried the heritage along time ago I would have to do them side by side but from memory I think I preferred the heritage but of course these new ones are all single barrels

Haha I hope you get them and yeah they put out killer stuff so far this year. Pa hasn’t released any of them yet though I know I’m looking for backups of the 10 and 12 for sure. This rye will be a shelfer so should at some point be readily available
Is the Jack Daniel’s single barrel proof allocated or hard to find in your city?
Regular “bourbon” gold label JD is readily available in most premium stores in Pa. If it’s sold out usually only a couple week wait until is restocked well.
