We didn't think we needed a master of ceremonies at our dry hire wedding, but we ended up asking a friend of the father of the bride to do it - he was invaluable as there are so many little jobs that are done on the day that you don't realise, it really helped make everything go smoothly. So would definitely recommend asking someone to help with this!

My brother is officiating and will be making announcements for the important bits. We are a small wedding though, taking place all in the same park and quite relaxed. We're also taking out a lot of the traditional dances and tosses and speeches so it'll be pretty chill! :)

I quite like this tradition, I've met lots of really nice toastmasters, some people are just so good at getting the attention of the crowd when needed.

So happy to have seen this video as this is what I am currently thinking about for my wedding next year! Do you think this needs to be one person throughout the day? I was thinking about giving my bridal party a announcement etc each, have you seen this done? Is it more messy this way?
