The getaway car is one of the new spouses cars which the groomsmen decorate secretly during the reception so the new couple can “get away” from the guests and go off home or on their honeymoon. Hi Carley! It is DEFINITELY possible! It may be a little more challenging right now since everyone had to push their weddings out due to covid. So you might find that vendors are pretty booked for that time period. But with a little flexibility and creativity, you can definitely pull it off! 💕
Due to the virus, new challenges present themselves through booking different vendors since everyone is having to rebook and reschedule. But yes! It is possible! Super excited for the honeymoon ideas video! Quick question, are there any “off season” months for venues that generally are cheaper? I know I don’t want a summer wedding (I’m leaning more towards fall/winter), but we probably won’t have a big budget and I wasn’t sure if some months tend to be cheaper because there’s less events?
Hey McKenzi! YES! Off season pricing can be much much cheaper, like up to 50% cheaper! Nov, Jan and Feb tend to be the cheapest months (Dec too if your venue doesn’t get booked out by holiday parties). The other factor in venue pricing is the day of the week - Saturday weddings are much more expensive than any other day. Hope this helps 💕

With the booking block does it cost to reserve the rooms?
It’s usually free! You will get charged if you don’t release the unbooked rooms by the due date, so just be very diligent in managing that!
