  • Let's connect the dots between spirituality and science. Have you heard that being in nature is good for you? I have, many times, but where is the prove? How does it work? Well, let me tell you something.....
    Studies have shown that spending time in nature, particularly around trees, can have significant health benefits, including enhancing the body's ability to fight cancer. Research indicates that forests release phytoncides, which are airborne chemicals with antibacterial and antifungal properties. When inhaled, these chemicals can increase the activity of natural killer (NK) cells, a type of white blood cell that plays a critical role in eliminating tumor cells and virus-infected cells. For instance, a study found that increased NK cell activity from a 3-day forest bathing trip could last more than 30 days, highlighting the long-term immune benefits of forest exposure​ (Department of Environmental Conservation)​​ (Medical Daily)​.
