    I love that Paul is focusing on learning and is asking Mike questions, it proves that you can teach an old dog new tricks, Also can we appreciate what a beast Billy Gun is, he looks incredible!

    Mike is all about this. He's paying attention to EVERY single rep, both sides, no nonsense! He's just as focused in the workout that someone else is doing as the person who's actually doing the work.

    People like to chirp on O'Hearn, but the man is an absolute monster in his early 50's. I dont care if hes on Drugs or not, it takes a level of work to keep getting better at this age. Full range reps on EVERYTHING!!
    Big Show and Billy no slouches either.

    Hey Mike I just want say your awesome!! Great motivator and teacher to working out! I have been working out for almost 29 years and about a little over a year started my UA-cam channel! It’s very small but I have a lot of fun doing it! I pretty much stayed injury free but recently I had a ladder accident at work and broke my collar bone and possible torn bicep/maybe more until I get an mri.. but I just want to say thanks for inspiring and I’ll need your discipline and motivation more than ever to make a comeback. God bless!!

    I’m 46 I’ve got bursitis tendinitis in my left shoulder. I completely understand what Mike is saying. It’s very difficult on certain exercises to push through the shoulder pain. I still go full range of motion but it hurts. Maybe one day I’ll have no choice except to train the way Mike is showing us.

    Just the workout I was looking for. My chest development is far ahead of my delts. This is because I have no 'shoulder' day, which I have realized is a mistake. However now I have made Friday a shoulder day and have been looking for a really good workout. Literally yesterday I was watching Mike's older videos on shoulders and now I get this masterpiece. Thanks Mike!

    Hate to say anything negative, but this is a deep incline press. Lot of upper chest involved. Might be better for them to really focus on rear delta work and face pulls in good form to properly open the shoulders. This version is bad for posture, it makes the body more front delt heavy and will naturally round the shoulders. In my humble opinion, speaking from the perspective of a guy with bad shoulder flexibility, there are exercises you can do with resistance bands to still train properly. A decent physio or chiro is the answer over this workout

    • @Mayaillu
      @Mayaillu Рік тому

      I used to think this too but looking at his older vids he was doing reps with 225 not 315, you may remember it was 315 because he may had 3 plates but those were lighter plates, not 45s, maybe 2x plates, the green ones for instance.

    • @billj4525
      @billj4525 7 місяців тому

      @@IceColdProfessionalTime does, but this has more do with his current weight and whether he's cutting and bulking. When bulking up Mike is always stronger on shoulder press and bench press specifically. I have seen him go through cuts and bulks several times and have noticed the strength changes.

    • @billj4525
      @billj4525 7 місяців тому +1

      Yeah, what you're noticing is Mike at different weights in different videos. When Mike is cutting he's still very very strong, but his lifts go down a bit when he cuts down and weighs less. When bulking up his shoulder press and bench press are a lot stronger. For example on his last bulk year and half ago or so he was benching 465 for 3 easily, and now after cutting and losing a lot of weight he's down to 405 for a few reps instead. Sometimes if he doesn't do an exercise for a while he's a little weaker, but it almost always has to with whether he's cutting or bulking. If you notice you'll see MIke is almost always either cutting down or bulking up.
