Another wonderful painting video, which comes just as I’ve assembled my lord on hippogryph model I’ve had in my closet for 20 years. Beautifully done! As for mounted yeomen, they are integral to my army, since they can force charges with impetuous units, get around models and harry them with arrows, and generally be an annoyance to my foe. I include at least one unit of 5 in almost every list, and sometimes I take 2 units.
Really good result! I've been loving the Old World content, and it is something that I have really enjoyed myself ... breathing life back into my Bretonnian's & Wood Elves.
It'd be great to see you doing the priming process in one of these videos! I'm new to painting and am curious to see your process. Thanks for all the great videos. Loving the Old World content
I've been highlighting my golds and metallics in silver since I found your templar guides. Really love the look and your guides were fantastic as someone who had never painted a mini before in my life.
Loving these tutorials. I would absolutely love to see your take on Dark elves. I’ve got tons of old metal crossbow men, spearmen, cold one knights , witch elves as well as all the newer plastic stuff as well hiding in a box in the attic. No idea where to start! Keep up the great work. P.S. do you do any Bolt Action or Black Powder?
Stunning work. I do love how this scheme, which started as simply one to add to your grail knights has become a cornerstone of your next wave of units. Going to need to hear the lore behind these guys and why they are in the border princes!
Such a great mini, and you’ve really done it justice. I was sorry they didn’t re-release him with the old world. I lost mine years ago and I would have picked it up again. I’d paint it just to have it on the shelf. Any chance of an army overview? Your Bretonnians are awesome!
When you said Very Very Very Dark Grey my mind went to Father Ted when they’re talking about priest socks😂 great work dude keep up the Old World content, fell out of love with 40k a couple years back, old world got me back into the hobby last year, I missed it first time round but am loving it, on my fourth gotrek&felix book and slowly working on my averland army
That colour scheme really is something special, glad you have decided to do more like it as I could tell how much you liked it. It would be cool to see the trebuchet especially if you’re building it like a mini diorama. You mentioned Josh contacting you Andy, have you got an email address for that sort of thing or was it just via discord?
@MediocreHobbies I have one and you're more than welcome to it 😂. Following your green knight and just finished the first green layer and keep finding shiny bits, bloody metal 😅
Your painting is great friend. Love you natural finish to things. I am a High Elf player and would LOVE for you to do a painting video on Tyrion, if you have him. Love your content
Griffon is really good but also super expensive. Royal Pegasus is the more solid choice. Frees up a lot of ppoints for other units (like an additional unit of Pegasus Knights) And when is Questing Knight Week coming around? :D
Very nice! I think I'd have to kitbash a Hippogryph using the Royal Pegasus kit myself if I'd consider a Bret force; mainly cuz the barding on the hippogryph gives a +1 armor save as well, add a shield and a Gromril Greathelm I think it was? To get to 2+ Armor save, then add in the 5+ ward save from the blessing and the general should be quite tough to take down! I'm an armchair general though; can't paint up too much yet (or unpack it for that matter) but a 2+ seems like a good starting point for a general of an army.
Wonderful paint job came together really nice, can't wait to see a certain characterful knight be painted that rhymes with Bristan😉. On the note of royal pegasus vs hippogriff, the extra wounds, attack, AP and weapon skill make it worth it I think (a real combat monster that can have a 2+ armour save if you want). O don't forget vision arcs and charge arcs are 2 separate things, so might be able to see 360 but can only declare a charge in the front 90.
very good paintjob, royal pegasus is better on the table, but i use this king model fot it. It is a bit small currently, but it is a really nice model. And mounted yeoman are great for guarding your lance flanks or warmachine hunters, there cheap and sometime do nothing but there always a nice distraction. 3d printed highland or last sword are really nice models.
I will happily watch a video on every single Old World model you decide to paint. But you're taking requests, Skaven! Especially if you have a Hell Pit Abomination laying around.

I need to give them a try for sure.
That scheme really is great. I especially like hippogryph colors, but that orange and black is amazing too.
Cheers pal.
Love the Bretonnian content, keep it coming!!! Would love a week for questing knights like you did with the grail knights.
I really want to do it as well. It would be a great excuse to get the unit done

@@MediocreHobbies Thank you!
Looks brilliant Andy, the orange/black scheme really works.
I love it and will be doing way more in that scheme.
That's a really wonderful color scheme! Look forward to seeing more of your Bretonnians.
Cheers pal. Many more to come.

Brilliant work man, this looks amazing
Cheers. Glad people are liking it.

I love dark elf’s and have a large army. I need to do some videos on it.
Cannot wait to see.
Really great! When you added the tufts, it really emphasized the mini. Looking foward to the trebuchet
Oh yes I can’t wait for it.

Ye it’s funny how that works out. I look forward to figuring it all out.
Man that mini brings back memories. Well done as always! Yeomen would be cool to see as they rarely hit the table.
I need to sort them out and get them on a table.
That looks absolutely fantastic. Tempted to go on ebay for one of these to lead my force. Thanks as ever for your content.
If you can get one I’d recommend it for sure great piece.

Theree was an overview and current army on my patreon a few weeks ago.

Discord Instagram amor email. All is welcome
Beautiful paintjob.
I've said before, I'd love to see you tackle a Hippogryph conversion using the new Duke model.
I just don’t think it would look rite. I’ve seen people do a head swap on the peg and leave it like that. It’s just not enough for me.
Your making me feel bad about my necron monolith that got stepped on... ps any plans to do some videos on dwarfs! Thanks for all the great videos
I’ve done one already but yes I do want to do more dwarf videos.
Have you done a damsel on horse? That would be ace. I've literally followed most your bretonnia tips, thank you.
I have one painted but no video. I need to get my hands on another one for sure.

I actually don’t own him. And I’m kicking myself for I need to get him and his brother.
@@MediocreHobbies gutted. I have them both unpainted lol. I light UA-cam vids to have as a framework for my minis, to set it in my mind.
Griffon is really good but also super expensive. Royal Pegasus is the more solid choice. Frees up a lot of ppoints for other units (like an additional unit of Pegasus Knights)

Well you only safe 60 points so no extra units.

Amazing, definitely want to see you paint your trebuchet. all the old world videos please
Oh there will be so many more.
Looks cool 👍

Thank for that. Some great points.
I definitely want to see the trebuchet! I have the model myself, but am hesitant to start. I don't really know how to do justice to the model.
I need to get it done.
I'm excited to see the mounted yeomen. I built a unit of 5 to try out as well.
Same. Mite do them next week.
Ta Andy! The Two Things Coats paints seems great quality
I’m loving them.
Looks amazing! Would love the trebuchet. Also would like to see some beast men.
I will get it done.

I don’t actually. I really need one.
Clearly this Josh is paying fealty to his liege lord
Dam straight.
Timely, I have my similar eBay rescue I need to paint up!
Glad to hear it.
Painting scheme inception!
Thanks. I was happy with it.
Mounted yeoman are really good
I need to play them.
wow
Cheers.
😎😎
Cheers.
@mediocre hobbies you have to do the empire general on griffon. I must know how to do tiger stripes!!!!!!!!
I don’t have that model unfortunately. I need to get one.
Do the mounted archers in this scheme 😬
Oh I will.
The sped up voice was weird
What does up voice?
@@MediocreHobbies it sounded like you sped up your voice in parts. Am I wrong?
@@Ricstroh you are indeed wrong lol
@@MediocreHobbies my apologies then
