Emily, I've never been comfortable wearing a red lipstick, and I've tried about 30 different shades. I saw this recent video and loved the color you had on your lips. I gave two of them a try - the Almay and the Revlon - and LOVED them both on me. I was so surprised and so thrilled. Great picks for summer, but these will be a year-round staple for me. I love Almay's Balms and their Balm Glosses. Perfect amount of pigment without being over the top and the formulas are great for summer! So comfortable and moisturizing.

I ADORE the Almay Smart Shade Butter's! I tried one per your previous suggestions...and now I have most of them! My favorites are the Red and the Nude in the Light/Medium. These last a long time and fade very naturally...my favorite every day lippies!!

you recommended Rich Girl Red last summer and I've loved it ever since. As a blonde it's actually super flattering, which surprised me bc I always prefer cool, cherry-red colors. One of my favorite-ever products--I have you to thank for finding it!

I think Urban Decay has a new Vice lipstick in 714 that is the same shade as the Gwen Stefani one and it is permanent.

That Maybelline Siren in Scarlet omg! I just bought it 2 days ago, I typically hate bright classic reds cause I dont think its flattering on my olive yellow skin but I LOVE IT. It is a super comfortable true matte lip and stays forever. Its the only bold red Ive been comfortable with. I use it with Avon retractable lip liner in True Red.

When I think of red lipsticks, two Revlon shades come to mind from the super lustrous line- the most classic red I have ever seen- the shade certainly red, which is a true red, and one of my all time favorite shades- cherries in the snow. Cherries in the snow is a little bit sheerer and is a pink red but it is beautiful!

MAC Mangrove is my absolute favorite summer red! It's a matte orange toned red but not TOO orange like Lady Danger. I got it a few years back in a collection but I think they brought it back and made it permanent!
