I’m glad the window boxes are gone. I love the aluminum walls
Never thought a classic aluminum trailer will get this kind of treatment. I love it!
Airstream saved a some money installing those window coverings. The bedroom curtains are just like the ones installed on the low end Flying Cloud. You can forget the feature of having unique blackout shades now vs. the previous years models. Sad to see this!
🤣 270w of solar panels 🤣 stop it! You're killing me. Yeah, first thing I would do is jack that up to at least 1200w. Great presentation. Thanks, you know I like it.
If I was to see one of these rolling on the highway, I'd never guess is a 2022 .... the vintage looks are awesome!!! Nice Job
Christ, that bathroom gets me going.
Exceptional design, engineering and integration. Second to none in beauty and elegance. Presentation: Excellent.
Thanks, Terry!
@@Airstream-Inc can you still get window boxes
@@justanotheraviator2357 I also liked them on the higher end models.
Damn. I always heard about the build quality of airstreams compared to any other travel trailer brand and now I see why.
simplicity practical design, easy access to maintenance, appreciate
most beautiful so far. the Pottery Barn edition is fabulous also and i liked the Tommy Bahama
This is the one I want, it's so beautiful.
A beautiful, well-thought-out Airstream!
Simply gorgeous!
Awesome presentation of an awesome machine. Wish the classic modern curved cabinet doors were still available. The faux raised panels just say “Home Cheapo”.
Excellent! Mine is on order with a June 2022 delivery. Can’t wait!!!
Can't wait to have you join the Airstream family :)
Did you have to pay a markup?
Congratulations 🎊 👏
Did you get it yet? Ours should be ready anyday now, to roll off the line. It's been delayed a few times.
First understand I’m not one who could afford any travel trailer but I DO enjoy the videos and Airstream features. It seems like a lot of cost cutting is in play here. The window boxes had nice features for controlling light and privacy whereas Roman shades are either up or down-a privacy shade is needed. That would be one that cuts down on light but where you can see out but people outside would not be able to see much of the inside. I also agree with the comment about gap between wall and kitchen prep area. That gap is just waiting to swallow some utensil or flying coffee beans. I’m old and not all movements in kitchen go as intended! NO! Flatware does not go under sink with garbage or trash. Also where would vacuum or broom/mops be stored assuming you do full time living in this (or similar units)? If you’re still with me I have a suggestion for the commentary (not unique to this video only) how about saying “we PROVIDE” instead of “we GIVE” you (insert feature here).
Wonderful Presentation...!! I HEART Airstreams..!! ;D Thank you..!!
Appreciate the effort. Consider Patrick at Colonial Airstream for an exceptional run-through of any Airstream presentations. 👍👍
That giant host makes the trailer look like a Bambi
obsolutely gorgeous !!! everything well thought out ... almost. seems a long walk to the bathroom from the bedroom at the other end of the trailer which might be an issue for an older couple who might have certain conditions that many people begin to experience in their mid to late fifties and beyond. ..... once again a stunning and also well presented by our tour guide .
There’s always the bedside po pot.
I feel that might be a weight distribution thing.
BEAUTIFUL !
Love this Airstream…..the only thing is I don’t think putting the modem and satellite antenna above my head where I sleep is wise
Great walk through video Bryan!
Very impressed with an Airstream
It seems Classic is more durable than other badges, maybe other badges look similar but Classic will probably will do with less wear and tear on longer trips.
Those Roman interior shades perhaps aren’t the best option even if the save a little bit of space. Also, maybe a crank mechanism would be more practical to open the windows.
Beautiful inside decor, tho I'd never have white upholstery myself. I like the living room & kitchen layout.
Excellent presentation. Elegant Airstream.
Thank you!
Is the new equipment also for the 30’ Classic? I really like the new 10 cu. ft. Fridge. It’s very hot in Arizona. Do you plan to install a larger inverter. I like to run the microwave when off grid without using the Honda generator. The new wood color is great. Not sure about the new window covering. Also, the new AC filter is great.
We just recently got the Flying Cloud 30FB. However, a Classic is in our future!! 😂😂
I love it. A beautiful, well-thought-out Airstream
We have ordered our 30’ twin classic- may delivery- we picked comfort white based on the online photos- this wood shade is much lighter in the video than the on line photos-
So?
@@daveklein2826 what do you mean so? They just want everyone here to know they're getting one. What you should've said was "so what?"🤣🤣🤣
Great RV. Only one thing; what happens when something small is dropped in the heating slots?
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Needs more external storage for items such as outdoor tables, chairs, grills, rugs, fire pits, ladders, tools, compressor etc
Great presentation 👍👏💓💖💟☮️
Airstream trailers don't have tip outs for more space. However I've noticed those tip outs are drafty and kind of cold in the winter. It's no doubt airstream trailers are absolutely the best.
Here are my suggestions:
A) I think black tank should be a 5 gallon cassette on wheels. Plus an exterior storage space, maybe in the bumper with an additional cassette. One could just stop by any gas station and unload the cassette into a toilet, then clean the cassette with the exterior shower.
B) Another option could be to have a pump like Interstate models.
Unloading 50 gallons of black waste by gravity is too gross, takes all the fun out of camping, unless you pay someone else to do it for you.
C) Another suggestion is to have less cheap looking shades for the windows, those Roman shades don’t like something sophisticated.
D) There should be a small dishwasher instead of one of the ovens. No way would ever wash the dishes or eat from plastic silverware.
E) In one of the exterior compartments, there should be a generator built in, like in the Interstate models.
F) Maybe to reduce a little bit the clothing space and put a small washing/drying machine.
G) Solar system should be designed for at least 2.000 watts, not 1.000, to at least use one A/C while boondocking. There’s no reason why that can’t be done with lithium batteries.
Might not need a generator soon. Ford is starting to put 7.2kW into the F-150s.
I would love to see an "Office" variant in the whole lineup. For example, this airstream would be perfect for full time living and working (in luxury) on the road if the entertainment area maybe had a centered and larger cutout for a bigger office chair.
I think I saw a review of an Airstream with an office that was done at the Tampa show this past January. You probably saw it by now but if not, check out the Wendland's video. RVLifestyles.
There is an office version design on the airstream website …. I saw it today….
Thank you for sharing.
Recommend using a pizza stone in the gas oven , it helps even out the heat and avoid hot spots
Airstreams are cool ...but a few things I would do ... The door either could be doubled in size or ...double dutch doors or suicide doors whatever you want to call them ...a sliding screen door inside ...
2 year wait list!!
Beautiful unit overall .
I’m gonna do a Matt’s RV type Review here , with 3 things I like and three things I don’t like and maybe a question on the heat that runs through the walls .
Dislike 1. The counter not meeting up with wall. I understand that the heat comes up through that gap but I also know that things will get dropped behind there . How do you retrieve said items and how do you clean that area?
2. What was the person thinking that decided that you want your utensils in the same cabinet as your garbage pail??? 🤮
3. Awnings just being a sun awning and not a rain awning , why hasn’t airstream addressed that ? Or what is the reason behind it. Should be able to tilt on one end without a big worry on it not holding .
Likes:
1. Love all the electronic bells and whistles for this unit and the fact it can be controlled vi app.
2. Counter space is fantastic , love that table can be raised and lowered because we’ve all seen little toddlers trying to eat at a table and they have the table at their necks or they have to be on their knees on seat. This eliminates that .
3. Styling and how everything seamlessly flows from one area to the next .
Question: so with the heating that runs inside walls . What happens if wall gets punctured?
There’s a lip around the counters, I’m not saying it couldn’t happen but its unlikely kitchen debris should fall behind. We’ve never had it happen in two years. The silverware drawer is separate, needing to be opened specifically to access utensils, although I understand your point, compromises are necessary. The awnings of course are fine in rain, the fabric is Sunbrella. They’re called sun awnings because they greatly reduce direct sunlight to the sides and windows of trailer, assisting in keeping the interior walls cooler, like having large overhangs on a house. I wish more manufacturers considered shade awnings on the street side. Heat is also the reason the roof is painted white. The camp side awning can be lowered in rear or front allowing enough tilt for proper drainage if left out in rain. Ours has been out, lowered at back during a terrific storm and we were able to sit under awning without worry of wind damage or water concerns to the coach, and still able to open the door without snagging or hitting the fabric. We’ve found it to be a well designed, thoughtfully laid out floor plan.
@@denniss5505 thanks for the inside input . I appreciate it .
You forgot dislike #4: 4 inches of room at bottom of bed. They didn't show that on the video.
@@JansenTeam wow no they did not
Raising the side walls 12-15” would make a world of difference and not change the airstream look….come on Airsteam designers. Look at the walk through guy next to the entry door to get some perspective.
Let’s face it, camping is dirty for the most part. While I was watching this video, he said the floor was a woven piece. I think that it would be hard to clean all the nooks and crannies of the flooring.
Another thing. One closet in a bathroom? YUK!!!
I agree with someone else about the silverware bin being in the same cabinet as the trash bin.
I don’t feel they’ve had a good perspective from a woman’s point of view.
With all the negativity, what an awesome video and a great job on presentation!!👍👏
LMAO
We use the trash can under the sink for recyclables and have a pop up trash can we keep under the table so this isn’t an issue with the silverware drawer. The closet in the bathroom is large. We have a washing machine in the side closest to the sink that is hooked to the drain line so we can wash clothes when we have full hookup. The other side is used for storage and gives us plenty of room. There is additional storage in the bathroom as well. The floor hasn’t been an issue to clean. We do have a cordless vacuum and I keep throw rugs down that make it easier. We also take our shoes off at the door (I have a basket next to it when we come inside). We have a 2020 33’ Classic FBQ.
I prefer the previous window frames. Curtains are inconvenient and won't block out the light as the frame windows do. The change is unfortunate.
Think I have a problem, this is the 3rd time I've watched this video haha. Would honestly rather have this than a house.
Great van
I got SO FRUSTRATED when you just stood inside the door, stooped to avoid scalping yourself on the duct (not a great sales point for a tall guy to stand under the lowest parts of the ceiling) and TALKED about the adjustable bed and other things in the bedroom. I wanted to see how much space was in the cupboards, where the outlets were, where the TV would be, wanted to see the adjustable bed doing its thing to get a feel for how comfortable it would be. Don’t tell, SHOW!!
The TV is replaced with a 65in projector across from the main couch area. I totally agree as well with the lack of detail, I feel like he is trying to glaze over stuff to get through this faster.
My thoughts precisely! We're supposed to get ours soon. Told hubby I'm gonna make a video and show everything on the video, that I wanted to see!!
Great tour.
Thanks for watching, Mo!
You know your stuff sir. Very neat and detailed presentation. FYI: not sure that "modem" applies anymore (MODulator DEModulator), in reference to analog phones we used to connect to a computer... G, it brings memories.
Can the stove top burner covers be upgraded to a cast aluminum top?
Those flimsy steel pot supports over the burners don't support much, and they look inferior to the stove tops in less expensive Airstreams...
Lol and your name IS Karen. What are the odds?
Yes. We upgraded with a iron grate so there is no danger of pots tipping. We also added a washing machine to our 2020 33’ Classic!
Well presented & nice product 👍
Meu sonho de consumo. Pena que não vende aqui no Brasil.
Lithium batteries, solar, a desk, a table that can be lowered a couple of inches if you’re working on a laptop, and a composite floor that won’t rot. Kudos on the improvements! Please tell me you upgraded the inverter too so I can use the microwave without shore power.
It’s a 1000 watt inverter.
@@modavaux -- So, you can't heat or cook anything in the microwave without using the generator or being on shore power, even with the lithium batteries. You would think at $140,000 they might spend the extra $4.89 for the 2000 or 3000 watt inverter... but no. There are some things about Airstream that boggle my little brain.
Agreed, they need to get their act together for the price they are asking ……people prefer to boondock & expect more for the price
@@Erin-Thor I don’t disagree about the larger inverter, but my guess is that 98% of buyers of this unit don’t do much boondocking and for the remaining 2%, if they can afford this unit they can easily afford a 3k inverter. Plus it still has the LP stove
Don't worry. Ford is probably going to be adding 7.2kW ProPower on board to more models...
I love this one.
These 1950s trailers look really cool but you might want to think about more robust tyres for durability
Is there any wardrobe space and/or dresser style drawers in the bedroom?
Would you do a video on the classic 30’ RBT 2022
Beautiful unit, not much head clearance for tall folks.
What is the bed foundation? I have a 1963 Airstream and would like to look into using this adjustable foundation to allow more walk around room.
Great design and use of space…the only exception being the placement of the microwave and the controls so low in the kitchen design. Why not place the microwave in an upper cabinet area for ease of access and move the storage cabinet in the lower area? Best wishes for Airstream!
Microwaves placed high have logged a LOT of burning incidents. That’s maybe why.
Has airstream ever thought of swapping the front bedroom to the tv/game/ business room ! Open the front door and step immediately into your office on the road!! The bedroom is right next to the bathroom for nighttime trips to the bathroom without walking ALL the way through the whole trailer at night to empty your bladder!?!?!?!?
its almost perfect. If it only had a bigger oven then I would scoop it up. Can airstream make a model that has a big oven and a shower with a seat?
Is there’s screen keeping everything I owe from falling into the hydronic gaps?
Everyone needs an office desk when they go camping
Absolutely a must-have 💻
@@Airstream-Inc that was a little sarcasm
Love this trailer, BUT... only 1,000 watt inverter, not good 🙃, can't even turn on my Keurig coffee machine, without a generator, let alone the microwave, if off grid. With a 2,000 watt inverter, microwave & coffee machine will work off grid, with no generator. Come on Airstream, at $200,000, you're making me go after market😡 for this simple thing. Airstream, you are lagging behind everyone else's much cheaper trailers, most now have a 2000 watt inverter option. But still love the trailer and plan to order one shortly, I will probably buy the Goal Zero 6000x ( way more than I will need ), to solve the lame inverter issue, that comes with it, just where do I store it? Plus the Goal Zero 6000x is $6,000 😵
Beautiful! Why not introduce this sort of amazing products to China? A lot of potential customers there.
The wine rack looks like it was measured/cut incorrectly. The holes don't line up.
Why do sales ppl never show how little room to maneuver around the master bed? They only point the camera.
The Estate Brown looks like the cheap particle board stuff in old trailers as far as color. They just don’t look expensive, and really have an IKEA look. The mocha cherry from 20-21 looked far more rich and elegant. Quite frankly, Airstream should offer more than two colors of cabinets (3), seat colors (3), and countertops (3) especially if you’re placing an order. I definitely would not buy one with the white cabinets, but that estate brown isn’t much better.
Beautiful unit, need all electric version not everyone is thrilled with propane
You are very right, there is already technology in solar panels and batteries, I agree that a version without Gas, totally electric is necessary ...
yes, I agree
SOLD
Nice
Watched all the way through. Really good presentation. Everything looked really nice, but one thing got me, lol. I guess at least one things gets everyone. My question is how short is the toilet? Lol. Please forgive me for asking but it looks extremely short, or it maybe because you are really tall.
The new software panels - what's the upgrade paths going to be like ongoing? Will iphone/android remote apps be updated ten years from now; or upgrade paths provided to keep systems technologically relevant?
Please consider sponsoring Adventures With Purpose. THey travel the country searching for missing persons. They have millions of subscribers. Their RV breaks down all the time and they need a dependable vehicle!
Great job presenting 😃🎉
I wish the classic came with different cabinets. The brown seems dated and inconsistent in color and white is overdone. Otherwise, everything looks beautiful. We will probably opt for a different RV until more options are available for the Classic.
I feel like so many people can't afford this and it kinda sucks lol
Missing my Patrick walkthrough.
That's on the Colonial Airstream channel.
Will the hydronik heating system keep my wine bottles nice and warm in the winerack?
Little guy has the same handle
I like them but can’t afford it.
Absolutely beautiful. Do you have any models without the fancy electrical/tech stuff?
The Classic and Pottery Barn Special Edition include Smart Control as seen in this video. The Basecamp, Bambi, Caravel, Flying Cloud, International, and Globetrotter currently do not include Smart Control.

Hi Brian.
So how much is the Classic just as you showed? I’m sure I’m not the only one wondering.
Hi Mary, the Classic 33FB MSRP as of today is $196,500 (www.airstream.com/travel-trailers/classic/).
I just placed my order last month with We Are Airstream Chandler, AZ What are the possibilities of getting a factory tour of our build, is something like that possible.
Also how does the weave do with dog hair? Looks like it might be a pain to clean.
What about lightning strikes? All that aluminum inside and out I'd be afraid of touching anything inside during a thunderstorm ⛈
🤔😧 okay I'm sorry to be that person but you're putting the 'trash can' in the same cabinet as your flatware etc. Why on earth, what was the designer thinking ? I would definitely not be able to use "that" trash can,- if I had one of these.
So what is the price tag?
🌷 Hare Kṛṣṇa 🌷
Is it a modem or a router?
What’s the head height on these? I’m 6’5
Hi, Question: I would like to know what video camera you used to make the film? Thank you
By the way, I'm considering buying an Airstream. I would like to know the differences between models. Thanks
Will this be available in Canada or New Zealand? I'm moving there with my mom and we want one but not sure if they are available there....
I believe there are dealers all over Canada. I know for sure there is one in London, Ontario.
Airstream is available in Canada, not sure about the particular model, but since they work by order only, would say you should be able to command whatever is disponible by Airstream.
For what they want for this unit, you can buy a motorized RV and a tow vehicle. MSRP $ 210,000.
Whats the recommended towing vehicle for this trailer?
What is the largest solar package do you offer
The Classic come standard with 300 watts (3 - 100w panels) and 200 Ah (2 - 100 Ah) lithium batteries.
Built to last 100 years
Or more.
