Luxury home on wheels! The quality and craftsmanship of Airstream is unmatched hence the price; but if you want the best, you pay the price. Grew up traveling/camping with a 1963. Not sure what model. Lol. That was a while ago. Thanks Patrick, great video as usual. Hope to get to see a factory tour next year - Jackson center OH is about 3 hours from where we live.

Amazing detailed information about the 33ft Classic Airstream. Patrick is very knowledgeable about every function and a great speaker. Thank you for your presentation 🤩 Really like the Hydronic Heating System, we are on our 2nd Airstream 2022 30ft FBB Flying Cloud and really like the features on the Classic 33ft, one day when it is only the two of us traveling this is the Airstream for us, in white and gray instead of presentation colors.

Yes, a travel trailer requires the necessary compatible vehicle to pull it. Many people already have a compatible vehicle so it is not an extra purchases needed.

Classics used to be old fashioned, but this new ones look even better than the other models. Probably can withstand more use too, because the materials are more solid.

There's lots of storage but the only place to hang up clothes is in the bathroom-not an ideal situation. It would also be nice to have a place to put shoes/boots when you walk inside. And for that price, I'd also want a porcelain toilet. On the plus side, I loved the high-end materials used. Maybe some day I can afford something as beautiful as this. 😉

I see many features that I have on my 1985 Sovereign, none of the fancy electronic stuff of course. But I wouldn't use some of that stuff, even if I could afford the $200K price tag. I love the big bathroom, and I like that there's no hallway through it. Nice presentation, Patrick, but I'll have to keep my old one for now, until Publisher's Clearinghouse comes through with the money.

Awesome Trailer,but Very Expensive for not having any type of a Slide-out!,,Which I know these are not designed for that!,but narrow and one path front to back,with a Price Tag of $200 Thousand Dollars!,it would have to definitely be what You want!!!,The One thing that I like about it though,is the Quality of The Materials and The Quality of The Craftmanship that Goes into Constructing The Airstream!!!,Top Notch!,That's Really what Your Paying for!!!,IMOP

@@rgarrison1819 airstreams don't have slide-outs because slide-outs are a structural and reliability nightmare. airstreams hold their value quite well, my folks had a 1990 33' excello that they paid $75k for new, they towed it all over the country for years and when they sold it in 2015, they got $60k for it. keep in mind they were non-smokers and neatness freaks so the trailer looked mint when they sold it. but it was always stored and used outdoors in all kinds of weather, never had any issues with roof leaks. the only issue that it had was with the hydro flame furnace, that thing was always blowing circuit boards for no reason and was a piece of crap...
There are older models with a slide out.

Although beautifully appointed it’s missing a washer/dryer combo. For that money I definitely would want and need one. Or did I miss it? 😮
The washer dryer is not high on customers expectations. Many RV owners that have washer/dryers state when they trade in to down size, that they never used the washer/dryers.
We have a 2020 33’ Classic. We added a washer with air/spin dry in the closet. It fits perfect, is light weight, and has been wonderful to have! I can do a full load of clothes or the sheets.
Talked to Patrick at Hershey RV Show, he is a Vault of Airstream knowlwdge.

Very beautiful! Stylish. Exactly what one would want in any travel trailer however unfortunately my vehicle could not tell this.
They make smaller ones. 😎 My issue is battery/solar and inverter (they STILL have just a 1000w inverter) expandability and storage. To me… the inverter alone is a big red flag, you can’t even run the microwave when needed without a generator or shore power.
@@Erin-Thor is that true that the microwave is not usable without a generator or short power?
@@harley9218 - Yes. The microwave is either 800 or 1000 watts depending on what year model you have. Either will blow the inverters fuse because it’s limit is 1000 watts (less whatever else you have that draws power, including the inverter itself). [edit: keep in mind that the propane stove/oven will do whatever you need a microwave will… just slower. 🤣] Also of note is the standard batteries with a new Airstream is 2 AGM car batteries, an average of 48 amp hours. If I ran the heater overnight, I would frequently wake up with the batteries extremely low. Discharging standard batteries shortens their lifespan, I was replacing the batteries almost every year in my 23FB. (Granted, I was lucky to get warranty replacements most of the time, but not always.) Airstreams are NOT intended for boon-docking without hookups. That said, I’d love another one. They are well designed, but IMHO have not kept up with changing market trends. I want more solar, more that 2 batteries (prefer Li-Ion), I’d love at least 600 AH to last through a day or so cloudy weather. I’m hoping for more value, for example a dealership will charge you $3000 to replace/upgrade the inverter. You can find a 3000w inverter on Amazon for about $130., meaning they are saving what… $50 knowing that buyers will need to spend three grand to upgrade. I get the need for AGM batteries outside, as Li-Ion require heating in cold weather, but there should be an upgrade path that doesn’t require a new owner to spend $20k after buying a $190k RV, just to bring it up to modern specs. But that might be just me.

I have a 2022 30 ft gt. They all are. Nice but . AS , at the price point of the 30 and 33s they should all come standard with washer/ dryer combo.

Not having a washer/dryer connection was almost a deal-breaker for us. We used the one in our Class A all the time. After doing some research, we were able to install one for less than $400 in our 33’ Classic. I use the washer whenever we have full hookup.
WTH, 200k. Does it come with a tow vehicle as well? Love Airstreams, however, they never have enough outside storage.

For a market niche…plenty of junk you can tow with your 15 year old mini-van….choose your poison. But….best resale value in the trailer marketplace.

Amazing. I'll take two two - the smallest, and the biggest: the smallest one for my Mustang to tow, and the biggest for my Ford Expedition to to tow. Can I get both with an expanded Awning feature? So I can at least quadruple the covered outside space. Also, I have four "Patent-Pending" devices/extensions that I have designed/invented specifically for your Airstream Units: a "internally-stored externally-used Hot Tub installation that already has the warm water in it,; a Washer & Clothes-Drying System, a "Stored Below the Unit" adjustable & securable Dry-Drainage Floor (for exterior showers, rainy days, etc.; and four internally-stored externally-used "Foody-Friendly" culinary installations: a meat-smoker/dry-aging unit a mushroom farming bed, an herb garden, and tanks for carrying "Live Fish".. Do any of these sound commercially viable to you?

This is only USA caravan that i would like to have..only what i would add is transparent curtains on all windows ...i have it on my caravan ,they add so much to home feel while making privacy with out blocking natural light
