He opens and closes the hatch twice, just so we get to watch... Appreciate the quality flying and great content!
Sometimes I feel like I'm watching the Bob Ross of aviation....there's a happy little cloud and we are going to deviate 10...very relaxing to watch.
Well Steveo, I can honestly say watching your videos will never ever get old for me. It is always exciting to watch you at what you do effortlessly, Safe flights and continue to have the time of your life.
Thanks to Steveo’s boss for letting him film the flights. One of the best aviation channels.
Bravo!
Absolutely !!!
*one of the best aviation bosses 😉
I guess not so many people can say that about their boss. Steveo really is my favorite pilot here on UA-cam. 😊👍
This must have been a repo flight, because I don't know how I'd feel if my pilot was filming a youtube video while I'm paying him to be 100% focused on flying.. I do love his videos though.
Love the Embry Riddle shout out! Keep up the good work on these videos Steve O!
I have been watching your channel for about 3 years now. I was always intimidated by the thought of being able to handle the radio traffic. I must say after watching you over the years it is rather easy.
Congrats! As I'm currently sitting in Zurich, you managed to get me homesick for the shores of Daytona! Many years ago I lived right across from the speedway. Now St Augustine is my home away from home! Cheers
Thank you for doing this content is a inspiration for me to finally make a decision on going to school for my private pilot license. God bless you.
Haha......the g forces were insane and a lot of fun... after I recovered my original shape...
I went to Riddle in 1974-1977. I probably landed there hundreds of times. I can't believe they are still using 172s...
Never a bad day when I get to ride along with you Steveo. Thanks for all you do.
Another great video. Graduated from Embry Riddle in 1967. Lot's of fond memories
The excitement at "three green" feels like foreshadowing of the VAS video (assuming this recording predated VAS). Another great video, thanks for bringing us along!
You help me so much with my IFR training, I can't thank you enough and I love your videos. Thanks to your boss for allowing you to film and share with us all.
U of ND is where its at for aviation schools! Fair weather flyers over in Florida :-P
Steve-Os suuuper smooth with the ladies and they love him as a consequence thereof!
From watching your channel, you have made me love the tbm850. It’s now my favorite plane, all because of you! Keep it up!
Steveo, thanks for the always quality content. Passed my private checkride this past week, thanks for helping keep me motivated!
Busy boy...well done.
sneaky "smash the like button" reminder.... nice one
Good morning Steve....
.... great flying with you again
Best regards always......Rudy
So awesome. And you even showed the cool student union building where our offices are. Wish I had know, would give you a tour!
Get a few buddies and do a Rolex 24 hour race at Daytina speedway, great experience with sportscars!
Another cool Video Steve-OO, and good job on the landing gear issue the other day. Are we going to watch that video?.
I thought I saw a tbh 850 flying into DAB a while ago. Figured there was such a small chance it was you so I didn’t get my hopes up but now I know it was. Pretty cool
Very enjoyable. It was a busy and bumpy flight but hey, at least it made for some good content. Thanks for taking the time and creating this stuff. Ok full geek confession. The TBM is my go to in FS2020. Lotsa fun.
your videos are the highest quality, I really enjoy watching them
Great video Steveo. I think the marshall is hot for you. Thanks for the view of Daytona Speedway.
Another great video! Keep 'em coming.
Thanks for another cool video, Steveo. Keep em coming.
yooooo. steveo is into SX... aaaaaand subscribed.
As always Steveo great video, and the t b m looks good thanks for the ride along, cheers.
My hometown! Love your videos! Be safe!
Love it! I got here three minutes after the video was launched and there’s already 176 views, which is typical for us after about a week of one of our videos. Lol
I love your Bahamas videos!! So you have any coming up for this year 2023? 😁🙋🏻♂️
Nice video but I thought you had flown there before.
Steveo, Why are instrument panels so high in front of the pilots eyes ?The top of the dash mean . That always bothered me .....
Hey! I noticed your gyros were off while you were completing your startup; is this normal?
Hello Stevo..always look forward to your TBM flight series, that's an awesome airplane, you exemplify so much a pilot being a part of his aircraft.
A question I have is, who's the coomputer Co. in Tampa who produce Flt. Sims in Tampa FL. I saw on one of your shows. Thanks. Pete Wilson.
Bermuda.
Unrelated to this video, but I have a question. Have you ever took the TBM into Cave Cay? Love your videos, keep up the great work !
Hi ! Oh Wow, It s very interesting to show it ! I like this aircraft (How many liters of Kerosen ?) Best ;) ^^
What day did you fly in? We were racing at Daytona on the 11th and 12th.
So how much overtime are you doing as a pilot. I read that is a thing today lots of flying hours.
Thank you for your videos. As a retired charter pilot. They are very refreshing. (Any girlfriend updates)
How did you get this gig if you don’t mind me asking?
are you keeping the aircraft in Lakeland now? A much safer location than that third world country of Miami
No more bullet holes in the cockpit

Ha, Ha, HA . . . True!
I saw it! Smashed indeed
Dear Mr. Steveo’s boss,
It’s about time you upgrade his plane. His content is out of this world. Thanks.
-The aviation universe
I caught the recent recording from VASAviation of your landing gear issue recently. Glad all worked out and you got down safely. It’s certainly not something anyone looks forward to experiencing but it was clear that you handled it really well and stayed calm and focused the whole way through.
Steveo, two things. This was another great video you put out as always, I love watching them. Just wanted to commend you on how calmly you handled that emergency you had recently. Another job well done. You are by far one of the best aviation channels out there if not the best. Showing us all that the more you practice the easier things can be bc it will be second nature. Cant wait for the next video.
I would love to hear your take an emergency gear landing. Keep up the good work
Fast cars, a beautiful beach, and too much flight training!
Steve-O glad to see a new vid is up! Also, you handled that gear extension issue (St. Pete) like a true seasoned professional, which you obviously are!
I love your videos, Steven. I know that you are busy, but I hope you continue to put out videos, the more the better! Your videos are absolutely my favorite thing to watch on youtube!:)
Hey Steveo, I've been watching you since approximately 2016 when you started your vlogs. I've always enjoyed watching you and for a while I lived vicariously through your videos and a few other youtube contributors. That experience with you helped to fuel my passion as an aviator. Since then, I've gone from my PPL all the way to my ATPL with a Embraer 170/190 type rating. Although, I've gone a different route as far as my professional career, your contribution to aviation was insurmoutable in helping me stay motivated.
In addition, I listened to your landing gear emergency on VasAviation and very much appreciate your professionalism and airmanship. I've had some issues in my flying career, along with earning my type rating. I can very much appreciate what you do and how you handle your self. Blue skies Steveo, hope to catch you in person one day!
Beautiful words!
Wish videos like this were around back in the early 2000s when I first started to fly. You are not only inspiring them but you are also teaching the next generation of aviators. Love the vids. Thanks for all you do. Stay safe up there.
Great video, Steveo! ERAU Class of '86!
I wonder how many of those student pilots decided to take up flying due to your YT videos.... it must be a thrill for them to see you coast past as they're waiting for their turn at their holding points at KDAB. :)
Went ro ERAU many years ago for my aerospace engineer degree. I remeber when there was nothing around the airport except for the speedway and Riddle. Still remember them installing the Wright Flyer statue and the old library. Things have changed.
ERAU people are going crazy over this video lol
Steveo, thanks for taking me back, albeit virtually, to my alma mater, ERAU. The campus has changed immensely from when I was there (80-84), but the memories are still the same.
Odd name for a hangar, but, like button SMASHED!
I’ve flown over most of the USA, never have experienced as rude a tower ATC as Daytona ATC. KHUNTS.
Probably have seen you around before. Just flew to KDAB yesterday. I’m based in KVRB. We fly to KLAL all the time 🤙🏻
Shout out to the Steve's great boss. Thank you for letting him video these flights. Nice bumpy flight - nothing like flying in the summer / warm months. Hope everyone is doing well - take care - be safe.
Ayyyyy I'm a Daytona Beach Embry-Riddle grad 2016! Capt in the USAF piloting the KC-135R 🤘🤘
DUDE, Justin Barcia is so terrible. lmao. Just kidding. love your flights bro!!!!
Steveo...thanks for sharing...my dad used to fly out of Lakeland..loved seeing Miss Budweiser plane sitting there
Thanks Steveo. Finally got a case with a Pencil cutout for charging. I’m replacing a MobileDemand case that is falling apart and no cutout. Aloha.
loved the erau footage at the end of the video! fall class of 2019 :) man i miss my school and daytona! miss it so much that i’m gonna fly my cherokee 6/300 into it next week with a couple of friends:)
Great video as always 👏👏
crazy that I was scrolling through UA-cam and saw N851TB on a VAS video… glad you’re all safe
That auto-pilot 'glitch' could be a real problem in certain situations!
Thanks for another great video from my aerial playground in the late 1980`s. Went to flight school in Daytona and finished my CPL and Flight instructor education in lovely Florida and Daytona . Very nice for a guy coming from snowy Norway.
Keep up making those great videos- Thanks.
Given current fuel prices I’d be really curious to know what that fill up just cost him.
If it uses Jet A-1, a full tank is 290 gallons, which you would never top off due to weight. From what I can find its 3.99 a gallon.. So a top off would be $1,160 USD.. Give or take.. and assuming the price is accurate.
Thankfully since he works for someone he doesn't have to pay to top it off. Haha
DAB where my former university is at. ERAU
Been watching this dude since 2016...
Best job on the planet....
Kicking myself in the teeth for not finishing my flight training.
Just incredibly well done content.. txs for taking the time to produce this (esp IFR) material. Massive benefit to other drivers. 👌
I know Sims are nothing like real life. I have 500 hours on xbox series x in MFS2020. Watching your videos are great!. I've learned alot so far!
I go to Embry Riddle but in Prescott…transferring to Daytona in a year and rlly looking forward to it. Great Video too bruv inspirational!
Congratulations Steveo for going over 500 thousand subscribers!
Take care,
Be safe.
I can't wait to get my commerical rating
Afternoon Cb's keep life interesting in FL as well as AZ. As an Embry-Riddle alum I smiled at the shout out. Nicely done.
Steveo, your videography and video editing skills have reached a whole new level of greatness. I really enjoyed the intro, especially your use of time lapse.
Great video. I'm curious what the small group of three switches that are directly above the artificial horizon on the left side of the panel do. There's a plus, minu, CW, CCW, Free, and one I can't see. You may have mentioned it before but my old brain can't figure it out. Thanks.
Steve, going to be in Jacksonville almost all next month. Would love to come shake your hand and buy you dinner. Love your videos ! Chef David
The autopilot disconnect during rougher bumps is a common thing with that model of autopilot. Its not just your airplane. It is common in PC-12s as well, but really anything with that autopilot.
I’m the Lakeland controller in this video 😆 @controller.steph
Can't believe how much Riddle has changed since I graduated almost 40 years ago.
AP issue is a CB problem. Replace with a higher Amp CB. 7Amp will do. Had the same problem.
As an Aerospace Engineering graduate from ERAU, I tip my hat to you. Thanks for the mention. Too bad I didn't go into aircraft; rockets are more my speed.
Really enjoyed that, Steveo! Keep 'em comin', cowboy!
Love your videos. Didn’t know you were a supercross fan. That’s cool.
So you took a venture to the beach side of town. Down famous main street onto the beach. And the good ol ride on the sand. Hopefully you had a good time. The approach in over 95 is something if I'm lucky to be driving I happen to catch a plane passing over. But if you're up between 6 and 7 in the morn and in a quiet area you can hear the first flight smoking out of DAB! The best spot to stay at on the beach side would be the hard rock hotel.
Loved the video, glad your gear came down this time :)
Some people just have a really nice voice, such as the female controller from around 12.00 onwards.
I have two boys coming along to Oshkosh. They are both plane crazy. My 4 year old is autistic. He runs out the house and screams at the planes when they fly by. We went to 3MY in Peoria to watch the planes. A plane landed and they let us out on the tarmac. It was a very small plane cant even remember what it was...almost a kit plane. No parking brake even- we had to push it to the fence. For him to touch it and get that feedback of pushing a plane back was huge. He is now hooked and sold out to planes! Hopefully we can find you and say Hi at Oshkosh. Been watching for years.
Shouldn’t that autopilot problem be fixed or is that a issue of that with TBMs ?
I’m not familiar with flying but a fan of aviation and being a pilot looks fun.
Steveo, love the videos. Do you know or recommend a good flight school in the Tampa or St Pete area. Looking to get back into flying. Thanks
I’ve been to Daytona Beach a lot of times! I have a condo there ! I’ve been to the Daytona 500 , Pepsi 400, and the Rolex24 at the Daytona International Speedway and was able to take a tour of the track it’s pretty cool! Also only a handful of us can say we have sat on the backstretch for a race before they tore it down! Love the videos Steveo!
you look like , michael douglas in the 1980s. 👈😒👀👀
