Inspired by the Super Duke R, the 2017 Duke 390 uses the same engine as before but the 373.27cc motor is more refined and sounds better too. It comes with ride-by-wire, slipper clutch, ABS, upgraded suspension and a state of the art instrument cluster with smartphone integration.
Priced at a Rs. 30,000/- premium over the outgoing model, the 2017 KTM Duke 390 still offers the most bang for the buck and has no direct rivals in India except the upcoming BMW G310R.

MotorBeam don't worry it was a little to much but I don't care because the video is amazing and btw I'll buy a duke in like 2 years or something so I don't know whic one to chose 125 is enough to go on a highway whit 130 kmh speed limit but I kinda want more power like 250 but I don't know if I would even need it so I think I would go whit 250

This is actually a smart phone with features like biking
So finally the guy who wanted to connect his phone with the D400 via Bluetooth can do it with Duke390 now.. I'm gonna die peacefully.

I own a 2013 Duke 200 as of now. Was very proud to pick first lot of Dukes in india. This orange beauty was a celebrity wherever i go in 2013-2014. Later amount of sales was so high that celebrity status was just gone down little bit. Now after 2017 Duke 250 and 390 version. looks like celebrities will be back on road!!! #LOVEFORDUKE !!!

1. hows the performance after 10kg increase in kerb weight
2.Hows the pillion comfort.
3. Are there any vibrations?
4. what are timings for 0-60 and 0-100 .

The performance is better in the mid-range, the weight increase is less than 10 kgs.
Pillion comfort is better than before.
Vibes are lesser than before but still there in the top-end.

The motorbeam guys are so experienced in doing wheelies. They can easily do it on a child's tricycle
Duke 390 is the best. I own a 2016 version. and the 2017 model takes it one step ahead. Super looks, brutal power, latest technology, reasonable price. But I preferred the old Duke's unique and sexy exhaust note, have to hear in real to understand the difference in sound.

MotorBeam had z800 for a year. I find 600cc to be the sweet spot of everyday biking.
The future is now!. But having a split LED headlight like the dominar, it should have both high and low beam on at the same time. Can't wait for the drag race with the old model.

Ravi Utkarsh ReVzZ Rider Stitching a knee slider on ur riding pants with a Velcro is a bad idea. Probably (90%) won't stay cos of friction. Might result in an accident too.

Hey! Good job, quiet a comprehensive review. It'd be great if you compare this with the outgoing 2016 model, all the pros and cons and whether it's worth it to upgrade. And it'd be helpful if you could discuss the possible crossgrades, that is which accessories of the new duke would fit on the old duke and it'd benefits or something like that. Love all of your reviews btw, bought the old duke 390 a few months ago based on your reviews. Kudos on the great work in simplifying and helping people make an informed decision on their new buy.

Pranav Deshpande it's not laggy! The only thing that seems laggy is the taco meter and it's not lag, it feels same as the analog one.

cooldevansh1 there's the number plate holder just ahead of the console, that is where the windshield can be mounted. But mind you it will spoil the look!
