Both these motorcycles signal affordable performance biking for India with the latest generation Duke 390 offering a lot of tech and refinement over its predessor.
While the 2017 KTM Duke 390 is priced at a premium, it features a bigger fuel tank that gives it a better range although the mileage of both bikes is more or less the same. The best performance bike you can buy in India on a budget, when it comes to single-cylinder motorcycles, nothing comes close to the 2017 KTM Duke 390.
The 2017 KTM Duke 390 is not only fast but offers a better ride quality than before, it even handles better but gets inferior, low-rated Metzeler tyres. The new bike's all LED headlight and TFT instrument cluster was subject to a recall due to issues of flickering and compatitibility with Android phones respectively.

Never had a problem with Faisal's signature voice even in lowest sound in my phone.

Aisa lagraha bheek mangte mangte Mar Mar k reaching 165 kmph .. 2015 model was d best .. 177 kmph with ease ... 400 drag ho ya 800 ya 1 mile older 390 will kill this bs4 shit

All I was hating the older 390 for its brutal acceleration and low weight, that was unsafe combination. finally that is resolved. Linear acceleration with gud throttle response is always a safer.

Hi Faisal, is it possible to swap the front end of the 2016 duke 390 with the 2017 one? I think that's all the old bike needs..better brakes and damping. You could make a video about it!
Voice is too muffled compared to previous videos. Background score louder than vocals. Something motorbeam should work on. Such an important review let down by recording issues.

I own a 2014 duke 390. Most of my friends,-fellow owners of older duke 390 have bought the 2017 duke 390. One thing they all say is that "new 390 lacks soul".i havent ridden the 2017 model, so i can t vouch for that statement though.truth be told, my 390's brakes suck!
Old ones were fun to ride and live with even if they had their own set of problems.
For brakes upgrade to the new master cylinder and new brembo pads thats comes stock on the new bike.
