as someone who owns both an OLED screen and this exact projector I would not recommend the vava 4k. This guy talks about gaming on the vava and the projector has 100 ms of input lag. (measured) Also, the projector does not support Dolby Vision or any other enhanced HDR modes (only HDR 10). Stick with OLED!!

The projector supports a 150-inch display, just wanted to ask why not get a 150-inch screen? Assuming you have enough wall space for it, is the 150-inch display not recommended for some reason? I have only seen reviews using only a 100-inch screen, and I was wondering if there was a reason for that related to the actual display output? Such as possibly 150-inch might be the max but the images don't look that good/shard/clear once stretch to that max size? It just seems like you're missing out/not maximizing that full 150inch capability if the projector supports it.
Awesome, do you already have a stand for your projector.? I recommend to have everything already when putting everything together to have your screen installed exactly where you want.

Hmm this is very strange when I press and hold the option button the one with the 3 bars I get the regular option menu. I do not get the extended menu like you did on this video. My projector is on firmware 2.20 I wonder if the removed that option

Does it have HDMI 2.1? Edit: Well it doesn't matter anymore. 103" is too big for my Wall. Even 65" fits hardly where i currently have my 55" LG 4K TV. So i'll probably go with an LG55CX9LA instead of a Projector. A Projector would be great, but i don't have a Wall where i could project an Image of that Size.

@@JoelsterG4k Any tips on the focus adjustment? I find it difficult to get it perfect with the test screen grid they use. It only seems to look good with the right arrow pushed all the way until it stops
They both look beautiful, the biggest difference is the functionality, if you have the space for the HU70LA then is a great choice, for me UST laser projectors are the best option since I have a small room.

Honestly I deal directly with their PR department so I don't know how customer service is but try calling them or email them to see how fast they respond to you, ask them questions like, what does the warranty cover.? Is the laser or light replaceable.? Or any question you have. They constantly do updates on the projector so I assume they do care about longevity and fixes.

ok so you lose the audio for the 5.1 but you have other audio like how the movie was made and bla bla work fine that is a eazy fix .............ok go into your dvd player settings and change it to ............DTS mode so the dvd player can feed all sounds into your vava , and you will have all chs of sound :)

The Vava has many negative reviews on Amazon. With so many and such varied complaints, no one who does due diligence and checks this out would buy this product. Complaints also include poor customer service. Those pushing this flawed product are likely being paid to promote it despite its many problems.

Yes the audio issue is only with 3D movies, the corners look good, I don't have any blurry issues at all with either unit.

Yes you can but you have to connect the apple tv thru the soundbar and the soundbar to the projector ARC HDMI port to get DA.

Well this is 2500€ + 1000€ screen. For that money you do not get 100” screen but you can get 86” that firts gaming and better image on ambient light.
