I've always been interested in the building process of pc's/computers. I have always wanted to have one of my own but to build one is too expensive, this is the ideal way to build your own. This is the first time I watched one of your videos. I love how you listen to your audience, how you give us advice, and how to make it better. Thanks, you got a sub and notifications up.
At 8:03, missing step: Remove the plastic sticky film at the base of the air cooler tower before installing (where the tower base meets the thermal paste). Otherwise the heat won't transfer. Also, at 8:08, the cooler should be installed such that the bottom heat pipes angle away from the memory sockets (per step 11 of the cooler's instructions), for more room attaching the fan if the sockets are too close. It was fine either way on this mobo. The 11th gen i5 upgrade mentioned at 21:58 is not possible; b460 chipset only supports 10th gen (h470, z490 can support 11th gen if there's a BIOS update for that).

Great video, and well done on the content and suggested parts. However, do you not think that the motherboard is a little over spec'd for the rest of the build? Surely something simpler like a B460M but less gaming-centric would make more sense? Think I would have used that budget for the NVMe, since there's usually very little difference in the price I find. Anyways, that's the fun of building your own, you get to work out where to spend the most (even if it isn't a GPU these days due to the availability).
I think you should have just gone with a semi modular or fully modular power supply and make the wattage something between 500-700 watts for future upgradability and it will clean up the cable mess, it’s going to add some price but it will seriously help further down the line if you want to upgrade a part in your system and just buy what you need instead of also buying a new power supply when you realise it can’t handle what you have upgraded, so basically going slightly overbudget can save you a lot of stress.

The I3 10100 is basically a stock 7700K so it’s a nice chip for the price and solid for a budget gaming setup.
