Damn it we need more artillery mods for Xbox...PC has all the good mods...like c'mon we can't all afford this game on two platforms or even afford a good PC. They get Angry Artillery and Configurable Artillery and all we get are artillery smoke grenade improvements. Feels bad man.

I got a mod for ps4 that increases the damage and radius immensely. I threw the artillery grenade as far as I could (the mod increases throw distance 4x) and I still died from 3 hits at pretty much the edge of the blast radius.

There’s a UA-camr named “nexbil 01” and he makes fantastic series on the minuteman and commonwealth post institute. Including wars against different groups like the gunners, raiders, and others as the commonwealth begins to expand its territory once it gets overpopulated from new settlers after securing its borders and improving quality of life. And with the the reorganized minuteman one of their biggest advantages that he shows often winning them close battles is their overwhelming artillery. You have artillery placements at every settlement in the commonwealth which essentially gives you the ability to nearly cover any area in the commonwealth. Later in the series they even use their new industrialization to develop more mobile howitzer-like cannons. So imagine this clip but imagine you’re a gunner in Quincy but this level of shelling literally last for an hour or two! 😂AND it’s a creeping barrage that’s covering for multiple platoons of heavily armed and well trained minutemen with a vendetta😂. Now you’re fighting some of the best troops in the east besides the brotherhood who are fresh and rested and you’re cover (the buildings you were stockpiling supplies and hiding in) have ALL been blown to literally flattened rubble. You’re reinforcements can’t get to you in time because they coordinated the attack well and had other artillery emplacements shelling the outpost the reinforcements are stationed. Not enough shelling to destroy the reinforcements but definitely enough to keep them from advancing. And then the few squads of reinforcements that brave the shelling and DO make it through are constantly stalked through the countryside and ambushed by highly trained minuteman scouts😂! Yeah this video and the series he made shows the minuteman can be a devastating force that’s extremely tough to stand toe to toe with.
Never makes sense that during a barrage, those being targeted can somehow lock on with pin point accuracy to the FO whose only call for fire was chucking a smoke bomb and backing up.
What settings did you set the configurable artillery to get such scenic results? I'm doing a minutemen run of my own and I'd love to take back the commonwealth the same way as you did in this video. Thanks!
I’m actually disappointed in myself for going in guns blazing instead of this. This is so much better. I’ve done stealth assassinations of everyone, Power Armor heavy gunning, rooftop sniping… but how did I forget about dropping tons of Minutemen justice???
Once the Institute are out of the way the BoS will have a new threat to humanity - The Minutemen. By the way, yes, the BoS are the true heros. You can not give a toaster human rights.

Minutemen arstrike its pretty op in the vanilla fallout 4. Just think about this. BoS just have vertibirds, The Institute just has the X-01 coating and the repeater synth grenade, and the railroad just stealth perks.

i just use a double arty range mod and cheat room for a inhuman ammount of smoke grenades
You can stack artillery in settlements for longer bombardments
And if two settlements are in range of the target both will fire
I always built one artillery in each settlement. I didnt know more in each actually helps. Next time i play im maxing out artillery
Just fill the Castle with thirty mortar launchers and eviscerate a small village... It just feels so right while being so wrong
Whenever you think you've finally placed enough mortars at The Castle, you should probably place a few more.

I've got about 1400 hours in this game. After that initial quest is complete I have NEVER ONCE used a minuteman artillery barrage.
Never makes sense that during a barrage, those being targeted can somehow lock on with pin point accuracy to the FO whose only call for fire was chucking a smoke bomb and backing up.
There’s a nice little area with a lot of feral gouls I artied once it was pretty sweet but I ended up dying. I wish someone could do a clip on that.
