- From the showcase on October 20, 2022. This remake looks PERFECT so far. I can't believe we're lucky enough to have such a talented team care this much about RE4. It has it all so far! I have such high hopes.
I still can't get over how great the footage was from this showcase. March 23 can't get here fast enough.

@@TopKunt I mean, yeah, it's something new, but you have to think that Capcom is mixing survival horror with action, to be similar to the original but adding new stuff

Even the sound of glass shattering when Leon jumps out the window sounds just like the original. So cool.
I love that they balanced the knife by giving it a durability meter so you can't constantly parry. it seems like you really need to think just a bit more when it comes to your arsenal and I love that
Looked like parrying didn't hurt the meter much, and the chainsaw breaking it took a bit of a chunk. My guess is it could be a fully upgraded knife for demo purposes. I hope it's fragile at first to really make you think about parrying, and then deciding how you want to upgrade.
@@Runebee I would suspect it was fully upgraded for demo purposes and I hope as well that it's fragile at first. I cannot wait for this to release. When it does I HAVE to play it on the hardest difficulty on my first playthrough 😂

Okay, so I heard people complaining about the Merchant's voice, and I don't get it because I think it's a really good fit tbh but yh what a time to be alive!

Capcom's remakes have been fire and I am excited for this too as a long time RE fan since re2 original. This is so cool!!!
I loved playing Resident Evil 4 when I first played it on the GameCube, and I can’t wait to play the remake!

I’d say now is the time you become a RE fan. This is the best one of all time. This game was sick on PS2 and now it’s going to be on Series X for me!!
Leon's round house kick is back baby. They have somehow managed to keep the action and make it more scary. Leon can parry, can crouch - can upgrade his knife , block attacks 🔪 and ko enemy's that's awesome. Bill me for the repairs later - one liners are back. Enemies can attack in more ways and rush, sounds cool. There is actually stealth or crouch mechanics, awesome. Hannigan , Mendez, Luis , Salazar, Ada, Saddler and ( i guess Wesker + Krauser will also show up next year ) and merchant everyone's here. Pacing of the game looks so much like the original RE4, love it ❤️
I was already excited for this, but seeing what they showed today made me so much more excited. Seeing you react heightened the excitement. Can't wait to play this and watch you play this.

RE 4 is literally the best RE game in the franchise. The gameplay and the graphics looks so good
So glad to be seeing Ada again. I like her character BUT she is still very sus to me, i just don't know why i always suspect her
Was she really on a good side OR i'm right about her being on enemy side. Because after what happen to the ending of RE Village, the bioweapon that we saw. Who is the mastermind behind of it all? Who is the rat?!
I played the original back in 2005 on my PS2 and STILL do from time to time for sentimental value. And since the remakes, I'm so happy to have my PS5 ready. I'm beyond excited and I look forward to reliving the nostalgia in upgraded style.. Oh this is going to be EVILSOME!
And.. Am I the only one who thinks that Lord Sadler looks a lot like Viktor from the Underworld movies? Ashley looks like a teen version of Jill Valentine? And Ada looks like Levy Tran. Oh my God I'm SO GETTING THIS!

I’m most excited for the look of each boss and how they feel going against mechanically. RE4 had the most unique bosses imo. I really can’t wait for U-3 and Krause fights. U-3 was the creepiest.

This does actually look really good. The original is in my top 5 so I was a little worried they would ruin it. Also Leon is known for his one liners.

They literally kept the same vibe as the original, which was the same vibe as an unlicensed evil dead game and I'm here for it.
I watched yesterday the RE showcase on your stream. It's was freaking awesome. I liked the horror vibes this game have, the lees annoying Ashley and Leon's new counter attacks. Also the graphics are so beautiful the RE engine did great work. I can't wait for 24th March ! It's a good period to be a horror games fun .

I'm glad that they changed Leon's VA. No offense to Nick but Nick voice just fit as rookie Leon. But this new Leon's VA fit the older and experienced RE4 Leon
I think that's still Nick's voice in the game. Ada's voice is not the same (I think her VA mentioned a while ago that's she's probably not Ada in RE4) and Ashley's voice sounds to me like Jill's voice.
@@travistouchdown8175 i think its not nick. Because its a very different voice than re2 remake. Re4 remake leon's VA is more rough and deep.

@@danielhizkia9169 We'll see when the VA's can announce their participation but I did think there were parts of his line there where I can hear RE2 Leon. They do like to re-use some of their VAs/Motion Actors from the previous remakes so I wouldn't be surprised.

The only option I have to play this is my PS4 and my PS4 sucks, almost every game crashes constantly and there are some game that just refuse work on it. However none of the RE games have crashed and have all worked fine thankfully including Village which I was worried would the be the first one to not work lol, so fingers crossed I can get this working on it otherwise I'll be fuming. Either way I love this game already it looks like they are actually trying to make a proper remake and not pull any RE3 Remake bs.

i do not like the new look for Luis Sera , Ramon Salazar and Ingrid Hannigan . what the heck did they do to them. i like old look better. o well. aside from that looks awesome.
