I love this guy! I've been watching him for quite awhile. He cracks me up. I wish that I could meet him. I wish that I could trap in my State. Washington USA, but the government won't let us anymore. I was a trapper in my younger years. They outlawed it in 1996.
Love the hunting and eating video's you guys sure can eat a lot, they look like massive geese I brought one for Christmas and it cost me $80, wow free food for the price of a bullet. Those would last me about two weeks of meat, nice one hope to see more hunts.
Goose also makes some damn fine jerky too Andrew! And yes, I was saying to myself "Damn, how long is their migratory bird season!" Ours ended over 6 weeks ago! LOL... Be well my friend!
wicked video Andrew. so envious of your fresh goose meal. Looks like your buddy is wearing the Dunlop insulated boots. If they are, how do they stand up to the low temperatures in the north? I've worn them at -29 C in Fort Saskatchewan on a job last winter and they were toasty but i wonder if they handle the -40's you see there
Another great video. Tell us about the water purifier Ebun has. It is good enough to avoid the beaver fever (giardia?) Charlie might have pulled a muscle. it's pretty common in larger dogs at this time of year because they break through the crust of the snow when running.
im not sure which purifier he has we were gonna put it on this video but gonna have to do it next time e bun comes out to my camp he said he can purify beaver water and not get beaver fever
You are auwesome Andrew!! Thanks for all your knowledge you have shown me!! Just wondering if Charlie's leg was okay...he was holding it out and limping
Great video, nice snack of geese!! I saw a bunch of geese the other day on the pond when I was out checking beaver traps guess I'll have to go back and get a couple after watching you with yours. When you heading to the big fur auction in Finland was it? Keep up the great videos, take care and keep safe, Kevin.
I bet Charlie is about to lose his winter fur soon. I used to own the second biggest Samoyd I ever seen. Had a bit of a mean streak.. But never bit no one. Lots of fur there. Funny watching your dog face fk the snow bank. Hes got a very slick sheen to his coat. His eyes look so black I cant even see him sometimes. Very nice k9. Thanks to you guys for putting out the vid.
yeah hope he loses some winter fat soon as well he got big over the winter from doing nothing he dont like going outside wen its -35 he just sleeps all winter
ever try that birch syrup when cooking? I used to use it when i would stir fry ruffed grouse or moose & just a little amount of syrup i found was best,
Nice fat goose. Makes me want to get one out of the freezer for dinner tomorrow. Do you find and eat any wild plants/fruits/mushrooms up there? That would make some interesting video I reckon. Good to have a bit of green with your meat and potato eh?!
Everyday is a good day there...damn nice day i say...more good eatin NWT style!..man thats a meaty goose..hell yeah...i dont know if i told you but im sorry you lost that good boy...lost mine in 2015..cant replace a fella like that...i couldnt...sorry Andrew

not sure wen i was looking after my sisters dog last week he came back like that. he was bed ridden for a week. he coudlent even walk on it for a while. if it dont get better in a week he will be missing out on retrieving beaver for me.

We always say that the way potatoes hold their heat somebody ought to think about making insulation out of them.

If you burn all the shiny metal off the tea pail, the tea will taste much better.

What happened to Charlie's leg? Hes limping when you're preparing the goose steaks.
not sure wen i was looking after my sisters dog last week he came back like that. he was bed ridden for a week. he coudlent even walk on it for a while. if it dont get better in a week he will be missing out on retrieving beaver for me.
That's a bummer.. Hes a man of a dog! He will probably fake being better just to go get some beaver! Hopefully his leg gets better.
I like to grind up goose meat together with pork and make goose burger/goose tacos.
I noticed Charlie limping at 2:23 must be the day he tore his legiment.
I always share my food with my dog after I hunt with him.
By the look of your both faces, I can hardly imagine the goose is to chewy..
Getting fat on our good old USA GMO corn!
Is that yer brother there Andrew?
