Andrew, you never cease to amaze me, your attitude, your bush cooking skills, your care for dogs, your enthusiasm for life, you are living the best life...
Got bored watching the usual stuff on youtube so came over to get a refreshing look at the Wild North and, once again, I wasn't disappointed. Great show from start to finish, Andrew, complete with a plot twist and a happy man and his best friend walking off together into the wilderness at the end. Great, man!
LOve these videos, watching this for 2nd or 3rd time, old Charlie dog saved the day finding that grouse! Charlie was my dog's name as well, and I miss him so. Going up to Maine in a few weeks, I live down here on Long Island, love your videos. Going to make some bannock I reckon. Good living, Andrew, the beautiful outdoors. Peace
Andrew, for me, a day and a meal like this one, shared with my dog, is one of the best days possible. May you have many more like it. And thanks for sharing your tips on stick bannock. All the best from southern Canada.
cool video, lunch in the woods, finding your main course in a tree next to your fire can't beat that, charlie is a fine dog good buddy to have in the woods, all the best andrew,
Hey, Andrew. love your show. If you put one of those $1.00 silicone wrist bands on the Metal lip of the cup it will serve as a lip protector cause the cup is hot.
im super blessed i found your vids years ago its been awesome watching u live your dreams its made me wanna live my daily dreams thank u bro god bless i love shit shit the little dog and charley also i always watch muskrat 411 cuz of u talking about u we love your vids in albuquerque New Mexico
Misty Prepper showed us a quick and tasty meal a while back. Just grate a potato and separate it into small flat piles and fry it until golden brown crispy on both sides. Add a little salt and ketchup and dive in.
i learned how to make stick bannock from your pike and bannock video when you hike 10 miles from your cabin to that fishing hold now im hooked i hope you make lots of videos like that this summer super good stuff going on hikes and making pike beans and bannock or grouse haha i do the same thing i have a few videos of it! im from Vancouver island bc man
Good video. I like the longer videos although I know you probably don't have much time to make em for most of the year. Gonna have to try Stick Bannock when I'm out next.
Another awesome video Andrew! Idk if u know this trick for ruffed grouse (we don't have spruced grouse here so idk if it works on them) but for cleaning them lay them on the ground on their back, lay their wings out and step on them as tight to the body as u can and pull up on the legs. It'll split them in half and pull the breast right out. Try it once. Thanks again for your videos man.
Great cook out. I've been making your bannock recipe for a few years now. Very good. Glad you didn't have to fall back on Klik or worse...Vienna Sausages.
you have the same machete i have and swear like i do too. my 17 HMR is one of those single shot H&R rifles, i also have it's little brother the 17 mach2.
Very interesting just seeing how you eat! You hunt your meat and you make your bannock just right there! Very different than town living I must say. Makes me want to spend some time in the wilderness especially up north! Do you have any recommendations on where to go? For someone who's willing to spend a couple weeks
