    Ok Alex now we are waiting for the QGA course…i’ve been struggling with qgd, slav kid but u make this so much easier to understand…we are already grateful for what you did in the caro kann and im very happy with your course and have signed in the waiting list for the Jobava which i already enjoy and tossed my QG courses … thank you so much i definitely think that your channel is the most instructive

    Thx for sharing as always. I started following you in twitch back in covid days. The reason I like your content is the way you explain is like guide us noob how IM thinking process about each steps.
    As for queen gambit, it will be a jungle for me at my level. There's a lot of random choice/combination/variation to remember/learn. But at least I can learn much from you today of how IM thinking process about the queens gambit accepted.

      tbh not a lot really, only 5 minutes needed! the only drawback is that you also need something separately vs 1.c4/1.Nf3 unlike if you were playing the Bf5 Slav (black london)

    Thanks Alex for this video. I normally decline the QG and try to play the Scharra gambit (A very intriguing opening), so I'll definitely start to vary my QG with this very cool opening. Been playing the Jobava and Caro Kann, and switching from BG4 to C5 in the advanced caro has improved my odds of wimning. Keep up the great work ♥️

    Maybe you could cover the Tarrasch defense to the queens gambit. Also, I'd love for you to cover how black should handle Panov attack lines against the Caro where white plays c5 going for an early queen side pawn storm.

    Really interesting to take the opponent by surprise. I've played for more than 15 years in competition and I always refused the gambit. Maybe I'll change my mind next time...

    I started learning the Czech Benoni to counter 1. d4 players. That comfy +1 evaluation for white soon disappears once they start running out of ideas. Black's strategy is quite simple but takes a bit of patience manoeuvring the knights around and timing the f4 break. Would only recommend if you like closed positions though.

    Wow perfect timing! I have been trying out other openings against D4 (I mainly play the KID) and haven’t really liked the Slav and in the process of learning the nimzo last few days. This looks more my style thanks so much as always Alex, you are the best chess tuber by far

    Def want to see more of this opening. I'm not a huge fan of the KID (I use to play it a lot. I'm also 2000 elo). Would love to add this to my repertoire as I don't have a great response to D4 that I'm in love with.

      Don’t give up on it. I had a good bit of hard learning using the caro but now I have my win rate with it up to almost 70%. I highly highly recommend buying Alex Chessable course on the caro. It’s like 35$ and literally covers every single possibility in a way that’s super easy to remember (easy for chess memory stuff, still a decent bit of work)

    1.d4 d5 2.c4 dxc4 3.e4 e5 4.Nf3 Nf6 5.Bxc4 exd4 6.Qb3 Qe7 7.O-O Just one example of how white should play vs QGA with 3..e5 4..Nf6 from FM Kamil Plichta's excellent LTR for 1.d4 on Chessable. It's really annoying when someone touts an opening but doesn't show any of it's critical tries for the other color.

    Actually 1.d4 d5 2.c4 dxc4 3.e3 e5 4.Bxc4 exd4 5.exd4 is a version of the French Exchange that favours White. 1.e4 e6 2.d4 d4 3.exd5 exd5 4.c4 dxc4?! (better Nf6 or Nc6) 5.Bxc4 is slightly better for White.
