NFIP (flood policy) covers 250k structure and 100k contents. You guys should be fine however you will not be allowed to build or set on that lot again unless it was raised above the last flood level.

Everyone loves when compassionate people chime in. These people lost everything and you say "thats what you get" even though they lived there for 35 years before the washes overflowed.

They should be happy that they got what they got, and yes, they will likely get another 35 before that wash overflows again. And, yes, the guy was philosophical, smiling, as an elderly person close to death rightly should be. I saw no tears.
@@stevetabor2605 Well I sure hope one of your kids is not a victim in a school shooting. You'd get what you deserved for putting them in a public school. Maybe that kid got lucky for a few years and then got popped. Maybe another kid of yours will be safe in school for a few years. See how others can be compassionate too?
