Thanks so much for watching! I you enjoyed this video, I bet you will LOVE this one- ABANDONED Mortician's Mid Century Modern Mansion ua-cam.com/video/p3_ED4mrQ5g/v-deo.html
Thanks for the tour of this gaudy, wanna be French chateau from 30+ years ago, I find it odd that one else who lived there ever came back for their clothes or personal effects, they just walked away and that poor cat! No sense of compassion or responsibility! Who own this property now, the bank?
I have been watching your channel for awhile. Some of the places you go are amazing. But this is the first time I've actually been interested in buying one of the places you've explored. Do you know if this property is on the market or for sale? And where is it located? Idk why but I really want to buy it and fix it up.
I’ll never understand why the contents aren’t sold to pay off the debts these owners have or why nobody in the family took over the house. None of these abandoned places ever make sense. And when the banks take the home they just leave it sitting there with everything in it to rot. This definitely shows how much we spend on material possessions that can all be taken away in an instance Everything is disposable
Not everyones home is bank owned and has a mortgage on it. No one in my family has a bank owned home or car. It's obviously owned by the man who abandoned it.
I'm encourage you to wear masks in these places. I developed a rare autoimmune disease due to black mold in my classroom. I became disabled and chronically ill. It just takes one or two exposures to trigger an autoimmune response that goes haywire. Love your videos.
I imagine myself spending over 2 days inside JUST looking at every objects... I find it fascinating to look at objects that belonged to someone but are now untouched and abandoned for so many years
This house has a VERY unsettling feeling about it... I've watched many videos with abandoned homes, malls and so on, but something is off about this on!!
I think it is because we know what went on here,....most likely non consensual relations, and beings that the tapes of "activities" are still there... I mean what in the hell, everyone one of those should have been gone through for obvious reasons... no wonder he only got 6 months... makes me ill....
I think you've got a good sense of what you're looking at here, Joanne. I would bet that there were Satanic ritual being done in here towards the end of this guy's run. Nothing but demon-infested people coming in here and taking their clothes off and just going nuts. Don't get me wrong....I love it as much as the next guy, but I keep my head on tight. This place is a house of total excess. No real love in this place. Pity the children.....and that poor cat. OMG.
It's weird how this mansion has an enormous main room, but the rest of it has small rooms and claustrophobic hallways. The main kitchen is ridiculously small.
If the house is vacant, grab a box and get the Hummels on the shelves and on the fireplace, they're worth more than the China. Sorry, I'd be loading up, mama needs a new car.😊

That poor cat was abandoned and left to starve to death. People tell themselves that someone will take in that cat; but, no one did and the cat died of starvation. That makes my heart hurt.
@@georgewheeler193 An abandonded cat isn't like an abandonded human baby. Cats are extremely resourceful, and whether or not we want to admit it, they're also predators. Birds and mice would have provided a steady diet. Neither "starvation" nor drinking toilet water would have killed it. My bet is that it died from a common disease like feline leukemia or kidney disease. Also, there's a road quite close by. so it's possible that the cat was hit by a car and managed to drag itself into the house, where it eventually died.
First, there's no way to know whether that was the owner's cat, or simply a stray that wandered into the property. Secondly, cats don't die of starvation. They're very capable of fending for themselves and can easily thrive on a diet of birds and mice.
That’s amazing how that one room has been untouched while the rest of the home was trashed. And yeah, sad about the cat 🥺 As a retired animal cop I can tell you family pets are abandoned all the time.
That's exactly what I was gonna say I bet they abandoned their cat when they left. Poor baby. I hate to see stories of pets being left behind like this. Breaks my heart.
How ANY HUMAN can just abandon their pet and let it die is truly inhuman. I truly hope I never come across someone who’s done that and I find out. Seeing that just ruined my Christmas Eve. People are truly vile.
@@nickp4961 I agree 💯! It made me cry when I saw that cat. Because I knew that it had to be abandoned. And it takes a soulless human being to do something so cruel like that. Some people shouldn't be allowed to own pets period.
@@reagandow850 I understand exactly how you feel. I have a cat and I have always had a cat throughout my childhood and mine have always been indoors and lived long happy lives. No cobwebs,no dust, wine still there. Pool looks like its been there for a long time. The mold is a sign of age,but the shiny books, and glassware is a sign that not too long ago someone was there. Very odd.
point is it real or just a display, because where i live if you're not careful a thief will walk away with your trash can just to see if they can find a credit card offer or something else!
He spoke of black mold and if you know about black mold it usually gets everywhere on everything so it probably has no value. I've had black mold in my room once a few years back. We sealed it off and had to throw away everything. It was so sad😢
There are definitely human ashes in that huge beautiful urn in the living room more than likely the wife's ashes or whoever that lady is in the picture next to the urn. Which is insane
The dead cat is extremely disturbing. What comes to mind is this was the owners pet. It looks to be that it died in its favorite spot just waiting on the return of the owner. I'm bitting back tears. This has affected me in a very powerful way. It broke me 😢
You are assuming stuff. Maybe the cat was just a runaway cat that was exploring this house when it died. Once a cat entered my grandma's house just to die in a room.
Great video, but I don't believe for a second that house is located in the US. The moment I saw the house from the outside, it felt very familiar in style to me and not at all American. The floor plan of the house is a typical Belgian late 80s-early 90s building style, including the furniture and the style of the kitchen and the bathrooms. Especially, the furniture is typical for Belgian middle-class households of the second half of the 20th century. The sockets are European 220V sockets, and the dead giveaway were the "Delhaize" plastic bags all over the first floor of the house. On top of that you have a "Trend One" shoebox in one of the rooms, which is a shoe brand of a Belgian-Dutch fashion chain called Bristol (used to be Shoe Discount in Belgium). That particular type of Delhaize bags does indeed prove that until a quite recent period (maybe 2 years ago?) someone still lived in that house or that it was frequented by squatters. 80% of the books in the house are in French. There is also the box with the "Artis Historia" label. Artis Historia was a loyalty program in Belgium that ran until the 90s where you had to collect 500 stamps and exchange them for pictures that could be used to glue in the matching books (which you had to buy). And, there is the little book about "la Côte belge" or the Belgian Coast. So, I'm guessing that house is located somewhere in Belgium, probably in the French-speaking part of the country, or if it is in Flanders, it was owned by a French-speaking family. And if so, the amount of glassware you found, does not necessarily mean they were large alcohol consumers. We just like to have different sets of glasses/plates/cutlery for different occasions depending on how formal the gathering is.
exactly the same observation by me are you french or dutch speaking Belgian btw? This is my comment I just wrote above ( What immediately struck me was that this kind of houses with the red bricks is totally not US style and also typical for the residential higher class people here in Belgium . Then at 5:57 I notice the re-usable shopping band of DELHAIZE which is also Belgian . Thinking their had to be other clues I also noted a part of a French speaking weekly published magazine called Le Vif - L'Express . It is barely visible just left of the Delhaize bag . So almost 100% sure the former inhabitant is from my country Belgium. Then 7:34 the typical carnaval mask worn in Binche (Binche Carnaval has been added to the World Cultural Heritage ). Other convincing clue 15:07 a beer can of Leffe . 26:17 Spa Reine box mineral water) I live in Ghent Flanders but my family is originally what we call Francophones ...so something tells me you probably are also Flemish and francophone and also with quite similar social background
@@djolivierastro I am indeed Flemish, originally from the region of Bruges-Tielt, but I have always lived and worked in or near Brussels, and I have a lot of francophone friends.
This has to be the absolute creepiest, most terrifying of all abandoned houses I've seen.....the story, the decor, the "artifacts," the dead cat and the taxidermy, the grounds, the vehicles....it's as if the occupants just vanished one day and never returned. Chilling.
It's a beautiful home that once was one a woman put her touch in before she died. I don't see anything terrifying and cats and dogs will get into a place and die but this home, this pink home (He said red) is very nice and put together way before 2023 and was maybe the result of it's time.
This has to be the absolute creepiest , most terrifying of all abandoned houses I've seen. .... The story , the the grounds , the vehicles . .... It's as if the occupants just vanished one day and never returned Chilling .
And to think, there are probably hundreds of thousands of houses just like it scattered across the country. We drive past these places every day without so much as a thought, the lives of those who lived there practically erased from memory.
This is actually a quality mansion. And most of the furniture in this mansion would have been quite expensive new. Not to mention how much the decorative things like porcelain and ornate mirrors would have been new back then. These people were rich. Antique or reproduction antiques were very expensive for most of the 90’s. Only going out of fashion in the later 90’s.
I was thinking along the same lines and would love to have that place. I understand the reviewer doesn't like the looks of the outside of the place, but he sure loved the inside of the turret while walking around. Also, the way the first rooms were so messy, compared to the entertaining area, I get the feeling there were 2 separate worlds there. Did you wonder about that also?
i dont get why you would build a mansion and then put crappy tiny rooms in it. like that slanted roof totally ruined many of those rooms. imagine having to slouch over to use the toilet :D
@dancingiswhat2do I felt like this was a his and hers house. One wing, with all the pink was the late wife's and the trashed side with the pool room, Jacuzzis etc was the husbands
My first time seeing your videos. From SE Texas. Man! This was so cool to see! I'm an older gal whose not able to travel, so I love tagging along on videos of places I'd otherwise never get to see. I could just grieve seeing it all just sit there going unappreciated! 😢 I'm headed to find more of your videos to watch.😊
The untouched parts were more than likely the departed wife’s areas. I’m sure he left them untouched as a sort shrine of lack of either desire to redecorate or just keeping her memory there. He obviously went to a dark place after she left.
For all the people who feel sick about the cat, thank you. Helps restore my faith a little bit. Breaks my heart that the cat probably stayed their day after day and night after night waiting for someone to help it. We need to have licensing for pet ownership.
We DO have licensing for pet ownership in most US cities, but people ignore them because there are almost no consequences for breaking the rules. Now, let's see some licensing for parenthood!
When I was a kid, I wanted to build a house that looked haunted. I wanted the inside of it to be uncomfortable to be in. I wanted people to expect to see a ghost at any second. My grandparents' house was like that. Their house was three stories and was built in the 1800's. The floors squeaked and doors would close or open seemingly on their own. You always felt like you were being watched or followed by an unseen person.
Haunted and creepy places always sparks that curiosity but not in a scary way. More in a, knowing the place has history. Stepping back in time. It was once filled with life. Yet now quiet and abandoned a building can hold much history.
Omg as you were going down that hallway leading to the guy's bedroom the closet door on your right, I seen the face of that mask & it looked literally like some guy was looking at you smiling, it totally freaked me out & my heart dropped to my stomach! I was like "YO didn't he see that dude?! Get outta there!" Then you left that pool table room & decided to open that door. I seriously was freaking out there for a couple of minutes. LOL All that stuff was probably left due to the black mold. It's suggested to thoroughly clean any object that comes out of a house that has black mold in it bcuz of invisible black mold spores are carried on it & it can easily become airborne & make ppl very sick &/or kill them even. Just a thought.
@@omidee2926 Left after the guys life was ruined because he secretly taped women having sex with him and sold the tapes, did 6mos in jail. Only alternative was to leave and start over.
I don't understand why the contents would not be sold in an estate sale to benefit the remaining family. It's amazing that stuff is still there and hasn't been stolen.
@@tomb5396 exactly, someone is because the municipality would auction it for the tax.. and then, there still is an owner. someone or entity owns it for sure..just someplace else.
The fact that it's in Belgium is why the place hasn't been looted, graffitied and squatted in. If that was in the states there probably would be noting left to see, anything of value would be gone.
You all forgot how all the windows would be broken out everything would be smashed there as there are mostly destructive idiots here in the States when it comes to places found like that. Why so destructive I have no idea. Once word got around that it was totally abandoned and left to rot not wanted by anyone connected to it family wise , The worst in my day that would happen to all the stuff in it would be let's just say little by little it would be taken and enjoyed or sold to others that would cherish the items. Taken by adventures rather than let them all go to rot and be possibly destroyed by other passers thru especially saving the stuff from building collapse or by the wrecking ball.
I find the psychological aspect of it interesting as well as the house itself. It sounds like at one time, he was a normal, respectable guy....and then he made a dark turn. Maybe his wife's passing put him over the edge? But yeah, creepy x10!
@@siewheilou399 It's not the amateur part. It's the part where he lured women there to bed, then secretly filmed them without their knowledge, much less consent.
Idk bud, I feel like anyone who builds a fake, cheesy castle with a turret can’t be thaaaat stable. It feels like an instant red flag lol. Probable coke usage well before the wife’s passing.
When I was growing up I had these neighbors, a husband and wife who were squeaky clean, had no children, and were lovely. The husband jogged 20 miles a day. The wife, she was so sweet, died from cancer when I was a teenager. Then the husband, who I had felt comfortable with previously, started bring me gifts!!!?!! He was in his 60’s I believe. Then I moved away and when I came home to visit my parents told me he had very young women staying there. There were children’s toys in the yard- kids of these rando women. He was drunk and stumbling around all the time. Like watching a train wreck. It’s strange how weak some men are without the structure from their wives. Very sad and honestly disgusting but I try to have compassion.
Yeah, me too, Fred. Fuggin' slayed my heart and nearly brought a 69 yr. old man who'se seen ALOT to tears. God DAMN the cold-hearted thoughtless humans that did that.....if they did so knowingly. Maybe the poor thing snuck in and hid.......but maybe not.
i was feeling the same way :( makes me wonder if maybe it was the owners cat and he left it behind.. who knows :( i hope it’s at peace now, im a huge animal lover it always hits a soft spot
I would like to believe that the cat lived a long life, eating mice and birds and having that entire house to themself. I would like to think that he or she when the time came, laid down of their favorite pellow on the couch and fell asleep and woke up in heaven.
Don't overlook the -oh my gosh, oh my gosh we are going in to a porn mansion, oh my gosh -expression on his face. You kind of need to squint to see it but it's there. Just kidding you can't miss it. Easy there boner! 3:25
the landscaping looks clearly maintained so i highly doubt that the mansion is actually abandoned. Its just not being lived in. The owner probably doesn't want it themselves anymore, or can't stay in there anymore, but also doesn'T want to sell it for whatever reason. If that dude who got arrested, has any kids (which he might have, according to the photos visible) then they probably just keep up with any taxes and payments for the house until the owner passed away, and then the heirs will either sell or demolish it.
It was probably a stray that was dying and found it's way in and chose that spot to die. They do that sometimes. They'll find an abandoned lot or home.
That was really depressing for some reason. The narrow passageways in such a big house, the pokey little kitchen (so much for the soul of the home) the colour scheme (did Regina George live there?!) and of course, the tragic back story. It's enough to cultivate acres of black mold! I need a drink and a shower.
Why would the authorities leave all those tapes behind. Wouldn’t that have been considered evidence against him? That place really creeped me out. I hope the kids ended up with good people/family. If you didn’t fill us in, I would have been thinking like you. Gaudy. They certainly loved pink. Strange layout. I can’t imagine using a cue stick in that narrow room. That main room was so spacious & organized, but the bedrooms were so packed. I think it’s awesome your able to travel & see as much of the world as possible, but I personally love your explores in the states Jeremy. Take care.
It would've been great if someone edited the porn, blurred faces and any skimpy dressed actor(s) to see what the cleaned up house looked like. I think the black mold situation is what drove everyone out without wanting to take stuff out. It is totally condemned clothing, furniture, etc. having all the black mold spores to just leave and the whole place needs to be torched and totally cremated.
It’s probably mowed by a property preservation company. It’s what I do we mow lawns, winterize homes, keep them just above dilapidated states. Most banks don’t care. They just hold on until a city claims imminent domain and puts it up for county auction
The poor cat 😔 As someone who works in rescue I would be very upset if stumbing across a passed away pet like that. There's Catfood left on thr counter so it looks like the cat lived there but couldn't get outside. I would of thought someone would of checked the house before hand and take the cat into rescue or something, its heartbreaking seeing animals left behind like this. They don't understand what's going on.
In my old neighborhood, there was an old couple who never had kids, and lived like hermits with their many cats. The wife died first, then a couple years later the husband died. He had no living relatives by that point, and when he passed away, his body lay forgotten about in the house for many weeks, until he started to stink so badly the neighbors called the police. The cops eventually break down the door, and find what's left of him upstairs, surrounded by dead cats. Apparently they waited for him to wake up, and they all died there waiting for him. Though when I would walk past the house, I'd still see a few cats here and there, so some of them must have escaped.
I'm glad I saw this comment before watching. I can't handle thinking about abandoned pets -- so I won't watch this one. I have 2 rescue chinchillas that were apparently left to the same fate. Luckily a landlord found them and called the SPCA right away. Even though they are now happy, in a loving home (4 years now), it still makes my heart ache to think of them left like that. They'll get extra play time tonight now. ❤❤❤
That house COULD be a beautiful place. It's a late Eighties/early Nineties idea of a 1930s idea of a 16th Century Chateau... And you're right... Someone had more money than taste. It's amazing how incredibly clean some parts of the house are, and how horribly rotten others are. I wonder if somebody could buy it for back taxes? It's funny that nothing's been done with it.
I Dig the castle thing and really love the first bathroom tile. Im only 6 minutes into the film i m curious how many times this narrator is going to say
The really bad areas are from leaks in the roof, once sealed up, the mold treated and sealed and repainting, it would be a nice home again. Likely the reason it's not cared for is it's in an estate that's not being settled and nobody's interested in doing so.
The cat made me actually cry a little, sometimes maybe not in this case animals wonder back or get left behind in their home. And they just don't know what to do with themselfs, but with no one to take care of them.. sometimes they die right there. It's so sad. Loved all the other parts of the video, it's insane how buildings like these are just stuck in time. Kind of a sad or haunting but beautiful thing to see.
I have to admit, that was one of the most compelling videos I've seen on UA-cam, EVER. My eyes were glued to the screen the whole time. Very cool, strange, stuff.
why do so many use "that" instead of "who" when used in reference to living people and creatures? English language gets more corrupted constantly. Even major news organizations now make that mistake. Thinking of my 9th grade English teacher now. She was quite the language teacher!
I have so many questions. I've explored abandoned buildings for decades, but I've never seen anything that was just simply walked away from. Do you get permission from caretakers, are these just random B&Es, are you even at liberty to say, do you ever speak with neighbors to get a more complete story? I'm dying to know more.
i believe that when it comes to people involved in criminal activity, controversy or simply being unbelievably rich they tend to leave things behind btw can you share how can one find abandoned buildings in general ? and is there are a way to find people willing to go with you ?
the guy was probably a coke dealer primarily and only owned 2 party stores to funnel cash through, he would probably still be at it if his perverse vices did not jam him up
My Dad had a dog that when he came to the end of his life, he went into an abandoned house where the owner committed suicide and laid down and died. Sometimes they don't want us to see them die, and go off so we can't find them. The Uber rich have no morals, this guy was a prime example.
Definitely, books not just for decorating . Very interesting details. Dishes/ dinner sets , glasses ( big family, lot of parties were there) European porcelain figures , furnitures, wood doors…amazing place! …Awesome project .
The dead cat, that just makes me so sad. Pp that abandon houses should tell some one they had a pet because you know if people come in after the owners are gone , the cats hide . I hate that so much , the poor thing starved to death literally. 💔 Thanks for the videos , they are so interesting..
That poor cat! That really makes me so angry. I agree with you, Laura! If it was their pet, why didn't they care for it?! If a stray...still saddens me. 😪
Sometimes I think pets get scared. Especially when it’s getting raided by strangers. Unfortunately people can be heartless when it comes to pets. I thought the same as you. Poor thing without a doubt starved to death.
All you selections are awesome. You may be the best abandoned house explorer in the US, or even the world. Ya, seriously. I am so jealous! However, you never found the secret cameras.
The FBI probably took the cameras. Also check out @BigBanks. I believe he is friends with this guy. He does a really good job at showing the smaller details.
This house can't be completely abandoned with such a well kept lawn. The furniture looks like 1980's-1990's to me. Not much value today. I'd look through old books, people hide money in them and forget it's there.
The dead cat made me extremely sad. It makes you wonder if it starved to death or was injured outside and made its way inside and collapsed? It looked like a Torti- which they are typically female cats.
Why is there absolutely no dust in many of these rooms? Why hasn’t it been run through by vandals, squatters, or people stealing shit? Seems very weird. Looks like it was abandoned for no more than months to a year inside. I’m skeptical.
@@Luna_and_Miles Yes so it appears. Just wanted to add this as I've seen a lot of references to the possible value of the items and others saying the stuff is worthless bc of black mold. Something to keep in mind: when u buy a used item, the seller never says "this came out of a black mold infested house" or "crazy how clean I got this after wiping off the toxic mold infested dust." So, pls be careful when buying used stuff for that reason. Anything with fabric is a no-go if exposed to black mold. Also books and electronics aren't salvageable. I'm from Houston and dealt with black mold (stachybotrys) and it can wreck lives. As one commenter stated, "black mold is no joke." Ok, my PSA is complete ;)
If black mold was as deadly as you say half the country would be dead. It’s literally everywhere floating in the air. It can be cleaned. The problem comes when you don’t have proper ventilation and high humidity. That is when it becomes toxic.
Amazing place! Any idea how long it's been abandoned? Why hasn't anyone (family, police, etc.) retrieved all that stuff? How can you safely get in and out of places like this without any trouble from the authorities? Thanks for the video!
Hey Todd, thanks for all the questions! This place was officially abandoned in 2016. I imagine the items inside the house haven’t been retrieved because perhaps they are still evidence for future prosecution. If you notice, some of the windows in the intro shots have blue police tape strips on them. Perhaps it’s still a crime scene and the tapes could hold key evidence to take this guy down for good. That’s all just speculation though… as far as getting inside safely and legally- Belgian laws are vastly different than American laws when it comes to trespassing or entering property like this. It technically wasn’t illegal to be there and we were extremely careful not to tamper with any of the tapes in case they will be used in court in the future.

I'm French and I live near Belgium (where this house is). Everyone who is not an imigrant got litteral tons of china plates, crystal cups and 100yo wood furniture from their grandparents. It's worth pennies, like a paper encyclopedia, and most people just dump it or give it to charities.
I recognize a lot of the glass wear as "Depression era" glass. My parents were big collectors, There is a small fortune in glass wear and antiques. I am surprised it has not been cleaned out by looters. Some one had lived there until recently I think. Also, all the shelves? No dust. Weird...
Yep. I used to work in auctions and antiques and seeing those oil paintings just sitting there killed me. One of my favorite things to do is go to an estate sale and buy up paintings for like $20 apiece and turn around to sell them gonna fee hundred after a little research.

People who build these large houses usually have terrible taste. They have large spaces to fill so they just buy a bunch of crap furniture to fill the space and it looks like that is what they did. They just throw furniture in a room and it looks terrible.
In the first room you entered, there appeared to be a bunch of photo albums. Those and the cat breaks my heart as they are someone's past personal intimate life. Children, parents, siblings, fun times, weddings, children's birthdays. Looking at the layout, decor and sizes of rooms, I suspect the house may have been built originally as early as the 1920s but was heavily renovated in the 80s.
Great vid and thanx for blurring out that dead cat. Btw I got a feeling that there might be alot of cash hidden in that house. People in vice industies usually hide their money.
What a cool walk thru! I wonder if the owner left things in such a mess or if over the years maybe people have come in and just went thru everything. That's what intrigues me.... the fact that it's abandoned with so much left behind.

Didn't you listen to the intro? The owner was a widower, turned creep and went to jail for six months for selling the tapes the Weiner didn't know he made of them.
It’s a mid 90s house - bright paints, arches, skylights, gold accents, and lots of glassware (collected by previous generations, my parents collected them in the 70s).
The main part of the home was decorated in the late 80s early 90s. Pink was in. So were those leather couches. You can also tell by the tv's. Definitely late 80s. I don't understand why the stuff was not sold off or given to goodwill. The china and figurines are valuable. Keep up the good work.

That poor cat was abandoned and left to starve to death. People tell themselves that someone will take in that cat; but, no one did and the cat died of starvation. That makes my heart hurt.
Starvation? What did it drink?
Sister of that picture< probably toilet water, poor thing😢

Interesting 🤔
exactly the same observation by me are you french or dutch speaking Belgian btw?
26:17 Spa Reine box mineral water)

Have you tried going back

As "cheezy" and ugly as that pink/mauve color is now, it was the shit in the early 90's. That and "country blue" lol.
@@kellymcdowell2331 the brick fireplace w the arched doors trimmed w stone were cool
The intro says it was built in the early nineties. Good date eye you have.
The really bad areas are from leaks in the roof, once sealed up, the mold treated and sealed and repainting, it would be a nice home again. Likely the reason it's not cared for is it's in an estate that's not being settled and nobody's interested in doing so.
The owners of this place really had a penchant for Pepto Bismol pink!
I loved it. Thank you for exploring for those of us that can't.
Hello Suesl how are you doing today I
why do so many use "that" instead of "who" when used in reference to living people and creatures? English language gets more corrupted constantly. Even major news organizations now make that mistake. Thinking of my 9th grade English teacher now. She was quite the language teacher!
I have so many questions. I've explored abandoned buildings for decades, but I've never seen anything that was just simply walked away from. Do you get permission from caretakers, are these just random B&Es, are you even at liberty to say, do you ever speak with neighbors to get a more complete story? I'm dying to know more.
i believe that when it comes to people involved in criminal activity, controversy or simply being unbelievably rich they tend to leave things behind
btw can you share how can one find abandoned buildings in general ? and is there are a way to find people willing to go with you ?
It all seems a bit staged to me
the guy was probably a coke dealer primarily and only owned 2 party stores to funnel cash through, he would probably still be at it if his perverse vices did not jam him up
If he owed debt then his assets were probably taken. Maybe it's owned by the bank ? Not sure why they wouldn't sell everything.
I’m surprised teen’s haven’t gone in and trashed it and taken all of the wine out.
I was waiting for you to check out the garages! :)
My Dad had a dog that when he came to the end of his life, he went into an abandoned house where the owner committed suicide and laid down and died. Sometimes they don't want us to see them die, and go off so we can't find them. The Uber rich have no morals, this guy was a prime example.
Do you really believe the rest of society is any different?
@@christinab9808 There's degenerates all over. You don't need to preach to the choir!
@@Freeman-Dl70 uhhhhh that’s what I’m saying
We had a dog do that at the end too.
I had a puppy that did the same thing 🥺
Glad you don’t go to these abandoned homes alone. Thank you for the tour
You know the child, now grown would probably love to walk through with you. Memories of his mom in there, pics, or even old family treasures.
His dad's recorded cocaine fuelled orgys.
Their mom is in there. That's her photo next to the urn.
Just found your page. I’m binging all the videos. I like way you tell their story and are so respectful. I could listen to you talk all day.
He does do it so nicely. ❤
Thanks for the videos , they are so interesting..
At least leave a door open.
Yeah as others admitted, the guy in the closet at 25:39 scared the crap out of me.
it must be hanging there to scare people away from his secret stash of vhs tapes
The van has air in the tires too
It's funny how you entered the "backdoor" to a porn house
Hahaha I see what you did there
😂
Wow
The dead cat made me extremely sad. It makes you wonder if it starved to death or was injured outside and made its way inside and collapsed? It looked like a Torti- which they are typically female cats.
Why is there absolutely no dust in many of these rooms? Why hasn’t it been run through by vandals, squatters, or people stealing shit? Seems very weird. Looks like it was abandoned for no more than months to a year inside. I’m skeptical.
Because it’s not in the US LOL
@@byrdsdoityourselfgarage7330Yeah, this country is full of dust.
Dust is mostly human skin.
About 24:50, the face mask peeking out the crack in the door scared the crap out of me! I bet that place was 'new and cool ' in the 70s!
Ya that was definitely creepy
Fnaf house with Nightmarionne where Purple Guy lives
It's crazy how so far the house seems to be in good condition, but the kitchen was falling in on itself and full of mold.
I really like how you give a brief description of the owners and what went wrong in your videos.
It's probably total BS because no name is given. I did extensive Google searches and nothing even remotely similar to the story given came up.
@@Doofus171The house is in Belgium if that helps ...
@@Doofus171 Yep, I did too, lots of sleuthing, and nothing comes up. I smell a made up story here.

@@Luna_and_Miles Yes so it appears. Just wanted to add this as I've seen a lot of references to the possible value of the items and others saying the stuff is worthless bc of black mold. Something to keep in mind: when u buy a used item, the seller never says "this came out of a black mold infested house" or "crazy how clean I got this after wiping off the toxic mold infested dust."
So, pls be careful when buying used stuff for that reason.

Fascinating explore but, oh what taste!! So nouveau riche and gaudy was an appropriate word! Having loads of money certainly doesn't buy you good taste. Thanx for the tour. Gill 🇬🇧
I’ll never understand why people just up and leave and let these beautiful homes decay. People need homes! I love how they have the fish tank. I feel sad for the cat.

I am LOVING all the antique furniture and china!! How does someone just leave all that behind?? It's amazing how some rooms look completely untouched.
I was thinking the same and those painting’s absolutely beautiful.
How does the cat get left behind is what I want to know
The "antique" furniture was probably cheap crap along with the china , paintings and the wine.
I'm French and I live near Belgium (where this house is). Everyone who is not an imigrant got litteral tons of china plates, crystal cups and 100yo wood furniture from their grandparents. It's worth pennies, like a paper encyclopedia, and most people just dump it or give it to charities.
The ornamental mirror and chandeliers in the grand room were everything!
I recognize a lot of the glass wear as "Depression era" glass. My parents were big collectors, There is a small fortune in glass wear and antiques. I am surprised it has not been cleaned out by looters. Some one had lived there until recently I think. Also, all the shelves? No dust. Weird...
Yeah I agree. Someone still owns that house. That is a fortune left behind, my parents collect depression era glass as well.
Yep. I used to work in auctions and antiques and seeing those oil paintings just sitting there killed me. One of my favorite things to do is go to an estate sale and buy up paintings for like $20 apiece and turn around to sell them gonna fee hundred after a little research.
Dust is mostly skin cells , no people = no dust
@@NickMate You can see on some sensitive thermal imaging cameras that people have stuff spewing off of them all the time. We're quite gross, really. IF that place was raided, those VHS Tapes would be gone for evidence, I would think. This is a different house than most houses. that woman in the photo 10:40 was probably his late wife & that could have been her ashes and necklace. a shrine for her. my mom has one for my sister and it reminded me of that. he probably was too ashamed to take her away from that house after what he became.

People who build these large houses usually have terrible taste. They have large spaces to fill so they just buy a bunch of crap furniture to fill the space and it looks like that is what they did. They just throw furniture in a room and it looks terrible.

I'm surprised, no one buys it and fixes it up. It seems like it could be a really fabulous home!
Yes I think the same
In the first room you entered, there appeared to be a bunch of photo albums.
I think the police ransacked some of the rooms.
Squatters have a responsibility also..
I always wondered why abandoned houses still have so much stuff left in them. There's so many interesting things and I'm surprised no one takes anything
@@delmarodriguez7412 All that fine wine and the China and crystal glasses are there for the taking yet no one took anything, very strange. Didn't you listen to the intro? The owner was a widower, turned creep and went to jail for six months for selling the tapes the Weiner didn't know he made of them.
I hope the cat didn't suffer too much...rest in peace🕊
Best channel out there for abandoned building reviews!
decay brothers have some good ones too.
The china is worth like $5 for 6 pieces at a thrift store, but most people in Europe just dump it cause everyone owns it already from older relatives
I don’t drink myself… so the amount of alcohol and glasses in home is over the top! 😂
