Many people paint their porch ceilings blue to prevent wasp nests. The wasps think it’s sky so will not build nests on the ceiling and walls. I don’t know if it really works. Great video.
@@maxiecolston7551 maybe that’s where you grew up. Nobody was saying it was wrong. Just saying there are more than one reason depending on where you grew up and belief system. There’s no need to come in hot like that.
Oh my God I remember that like it was yesterday. She was 16 years old pregnant with twins. They found her in a motel room I don't remember if she was with her brother at the time or she was with another man and she had her cat with her. She would not go anywhere without that cat because that was her life. That was a very sad day in 1982. I don't know what happened to her children.
I’d love to know more also. About the the girl and her children, but also about the owners of the house, the house itself and how the beautiful furniture was acquired.
You are my favorite Explorer! You give some history on the property, you just don't scan the room, you EXPLORE it! I love when you open the drawers and allow us to view what's hidden. So happy to have found your channel! Thank you for the content you put on here for us to watch and thank you for your effort in finding these places and sharing!
I love the way you appreciate antiques and take such an interest in old abandoned houses. It's very sad to see how much these places are vandalised though ....
What I like most about this channel is that I can learn about the stories of these abandoned places. This and the presentation skills are the major differences between this channel and its counterparts.
These old homes with the old antiques, and the stories are Amazing! Why doesn’t these families at least sell the antiques to preserve the history of these time periods? I’m just an antique furniture lover and it makes my heart hurt to see them just be left behind! Your channel is Awesome!
So far yours ( channel ) is the 1st one I've encountered telling/narrating the story behind the abandoned houses/ mansions/ etc. Congratulations for doing this! Photos aren't enough, it can be vividly understood if there's a narration of truth, of what happened really!
I literally remember my parents having similar items. The sylvania tv in a cabinet was one of them. I was born in 1966 and I absolutely can’t believe this was that many years ago. Seems like yesterday to me. It’s sad to see things not appreciated and left behind. Thanks for the tour.
I remember a lot of these things too. The Matador and the velvet paintings was fairly common. The lamp with flowers in bottom. Sometimes had quail in them. Balcony was cool. Seeing the younger guys exploring and getting excited over things I remember makes me giggle a little.
There’s a lot of strange things about this video. I’m amazed at the lack of mold, dust and decay in a 40 year old abandoned house. And the tv is also very old for 1982. I know black and white tv’s were still around and many places still felt like the 1940’s, but it’s worth pointing out. I was born in the late 70’s and growing up you could still feel the presence of the earlier decades - the 40’s, even the 30’s and earlier in some places. Time moved so much slower and consume electronics and technology were fairly stagnant. People had tube tv’s, cable was brand new so that was a luxury, my grandparents had old furniture dating back to the 19th century - it was just different. The ‘modern age’ as I refer to it didn’t start until 1988 or so. That’s when cd’s, newer looking cars and tv’s, etc became more common. Kind of a microcosm of the way progress was very slow prior to the 20th century, and then suddenly the world was completely changed.
I really like how you summed up the difference that existed before the late 80s. I can definitely agree with that. Especially being in the rural north. I get pretty nostalgic for the earliest days of my youth, being born in '81, which I remember very clearly. The early 80s into which I was born was a different world than the late 90s of which I graduated. God bless you.
@@allisgrace1313I love this insight. I am only 19 and was born in 2003… that’s far aways different from what I’ve ever seen. It’s just so strange to live in such a modern world now where that house is still left off in the early 1982. Just doesn’t seem real to me. Things are beyond different, and I do wish I could experience it
@@Liyah.s.1803 Keep seeking wisdom, my young friend. By your comment I get the impression that you are already wise beyond your years. Modernity had already stolen so much from you that you may just be getting glimpses of. I encourage you to look into the thoughts of G.K. Chesterton. Are you familiar with him? A good place to start might be his book Orthodoxy. Also, I encourage you to look into what was REALLY going on with the French Revolution. And then WWl and the aftermath. This will help you start to understand this world you have grown up in. All in not as it seems. Might I pray for you Aaliyah? And if so, what prayer would you place on my heart? May God richly bless you and yours.
Your summation of the video, and the tracking of time, is beautifully stated. I was born in 1965, and, while I had parents who loved me, they were not very good parents. I come from a violent background, that said, this video resonated much of what I experienced, murder aside. My childhood was a battlefield and time moved slowly. What you said about the shifting of the era is so true, but I would take it a little further back to about 1985. That’s about the time when the glitz and aerobic fitness craze that marked the’80’s came upon us. Even so, I agree with you that everything after 1988 would seem to move as if it were an HG Wells novel. We are living in a age now, in which, fashion and design borrows from times long since past.
I grew up in an abusive household and this gave me the freakin willies. If those children were telling the truth, i can imagine the insane gaslighting, the facade of a perfect family their parents and broter presented, and the constant terror of one of them snapping. I hope theyve found peace.
. . ✨ omg I felt exactly what you described . . I could sense a foreboding within the walls of this house, it’s dense like the heavy emphasis on brown wood and heavy furniture sucking all of the air out of the rooms . . 🔜Exit, stage left !
If people ONLY think of stealing thats just sick. I actually like knowing where these stories are. Not so I can go there and steal but so I have a visual of the person.
Stolen from a house of horrors. If what he say is true , we can’t even imagine how much these little girls suffer in there! To the point to kill the abuser his own brother and maybe father too!

I'm a new viewer of your videos and have truly enjoyed them. This one truly resonated with me being an older person; it could have very well been the home I grew up in. The art work you were curious about was very common in the 70s- hand crafts were VERY popular. Macrame, ceramics, etc and was found in almost every home. The folded flag you found in the dresser drawer is what is presented to the family of a person in service upon death at their funeral. I still have the one presented to Mama when Daddy died and it will be handed down to my son. The cabinet in the bathroom you admired is a French style vanity and the gold on it is referred to as 'gilding'. That was a symbol of craftmanship and status to have gilded items. You can tell older things were made with craftsmanship, made with quality to last. Even electronics like the tvs. We had repairmen who would come out and repair our tv rather than throw it away and buy another. That was true of most everything we bought and owned and, honestly, I long for those times again. We took pride in what we owned, saving to purchase, taking our time picking items out based on how long it would last, could it have multiple uses, etc. I hope the younger generations will try some kind of craft whether it be wood working, ceramics, whatever, and start this trend again and get us away from a throw away society. It's a wonderful feeling making something with your hands; knowing you are contributing something of beauty and use to the world. I have to admit, while watching your videos I do correct you on some things but that's just because I have a number of years on you so I'm familair with so many things that cross your paths. Keep exploring and sharing your adventures and finds with us. Wishing you many more blessings
Weird. A friend actually showed me this video after I showed her the listing that this place was for sale. Checking the area: there is no such murder listed anywhere even near the property in the 80s. Checking the comments, no other explorers have the same story and the "stab marks" in the doll only showed up with this particular explorer. I'm going to check in with the realtor, but the story matched with this place is sus.
I’m thinking about going to tour the property, legally, as a prospective buyer. I have fallen in love with this place. I have searched the internet as well as GA state archives and found no such story. The closet thing was a 1982 murder of a 14 yo girl by a Georgia couple. Had nothing to do with this place. The only place you find this story is on YT by urban explorers.
34:46 ---> reminds me of when My dad once said "Anyone can go through life getting all the things they want,...Yet nothing they truly need"...Beautiful treasures, sad story...Thank you for sharing. thumbs up!!
Jeremy, the courage you have to explore these haunted houses is amazing! You’re very respectful and also the way you narrated the story and your voice is so beautiful.
@@07jeepgirlNo kidding 😂at what point did he ever say haunted. IMO it isn't abandoned either it is relatively clean but cluttered. Hate the fact that people see these as more than entertainment full of speculation on his part. It is not a mansion either it is an old farm/manor house.
That’s the creepiest video I’ve ever seen from you! How sad! Were you alone while exploring this? It seems like it would always be wise to have someone with you. I hope you carry a weapon or some form of protection. There are some real nutcases out there, some evil people. I do believe the good outweigh the bad, but all it takes is one bad one. Stay safe and well! I mostly love your explorations. This one was incredibly sad!
This house is not haunted and no murder took place here. This story is fabricated (confirmed by the GA police) and it was on the market at the time and has been sold to a new owner who has been notified of this video. I won’t post the address but another commenter has posted it along with the property listing on here.
Thank you so much for telling the story of this house and it's inhabitants in such a respectful way. I appreciate how you put the facts straight, without judging her and her actions. There is always more than what meets the eye, if you care to dig a little deeper. She and her brother must have endured living hell and I hope they are in a better place now. What a sad, but beautiful home. 🤍😟🙏
Because there aren't any that I can find. No 1982 murder of any brother by any sister, in Georgia or anywhere. It should be easy to find with the whole satanic angle. But there just isn't any newspaper article anywhere.
The unfortunate thing about the antiques is that the kids don’t want them. I have several beautiful pieces. Told my child who is 22 I would haunt her if she didn’t at least take her great grandmothers desk. Her namesake. People buy them up for cheap and paint them for resale. 🤯 They want all this new looking furniture, but with the antique quality which you can’t find at a retail store.
My kids don’t want anything when I die. Kids and grandkids now days don’t see the sentimental value in our stuff like we do. I’m 64 and have my mama’s cookie jar that she was given on her 16th birthday by the jewel t man
Technically the home belongs to her if no one claims it or is still alive. I really would love to be able to research this story and see where she is now…phenomenal video and your narrative and videography skills are impeccable!! Thank you for ALL you do to bring us these wonderful video stories! ❤❤ God bless you! -christine
The story is fabricated. This home recently sold to a new owner (who has been informed about this video) and there is no record of a murder according to the GA police.
This house is CREEPY AF. I have had nightmares about being trapped in a large rambling old house with an evil foreboding presence, and I can't find my way out.. Ugh....however, I love your videos and the stories that you tell!
@seasshells616 OMG i do too!! i have dreams like that 90% of the nights i sleep. always trying to find my way out of an old house and there’s a foreboding presence. idk what that means, but i assume it has some spiritual or emotional meaning.
I have the same kinds of dreams as well! Sometimes I'm actually banishing the evil force away with a large crystal or with my hand. It feels extremely intense like my life depends on it
Hey Jeremy, the trip through this house was definitely wild and I had a lot of thoughts. It sure makes you wonder where all the people ended up. How many are still living? The antiques are priceless they left behind. Did the girl that murdered her brother, did she ever get out of prison or wherever she ended up? How old is she now? There's a lot of questions for sure. Your videos are great. THANKS
Well she was 14 in 1982, making her 55 now. And sentenced to 28 years in the facility. Trials can take a few years so she probably was released between 2010 and 2015.
@@MimiMakesStuff I agree. There were some interesting items an that white fireplace was lovely, but there were no fine antiques. Here in the UK you can't give this stuff away anymore.
@@janmariablackwell8138I agree! I live in the northeast of the US and some of the homes here are this old and even older. As he was going through and pointing out things that he thought were “priceless “ or “antiques “ I was looking at things like the original stained glass panels and fireplace mantles/inserts… not to mention the trim! OMG the trim! Your right about all the clutter inside (couches, chairs, tables etc) being absolute junk! It looked like furniture that was bought in the 50’s at the earliest and nothing older than that. A lot of it are replicas! There is no way that they are original antiques from the 1800’s. You would be able to tell. I have an antique sofa and chair that are stuffed with horse hair and hand carved detailing alongside all the edges. I’m not trying to be rude, I just want to be authentic
I have seen this home explored by others and although I found it interesting, your was the only one who had a background story , by you researching the history behind why this home was abandoned and telling the story it a respectful way, makes your videos so much more interesting to watch.
Jeremy, I have seen many walk-throughs of old houses but yours here is probably the best one I have ever seen, and what a story backdrop this house has
I've seen this explored before but never knew the back story. You did a phenomenal job on this! Thank you for covering the stories behind these explores.
Someone is lining up and picking through the furniture. It might be pieces from other nearby homes stored in there as well. I used to know a very wealthy antique dealer repairman who bought several houses in our city strictly as storage homes. Nobody lives in them they're floor to ceiling storage for antiques for his business.
WOW that's incredibly sad! Amazing video of course 😍 You always show so much respect for the family, the homes and the backstory of each video. Thank you so much! 💗
I came for the abandoned murder house in the woods, stayed for the insightful and respectful presentation. I srsly cannot believe, how minor any damage is on the interior. Truly amazing. That must be a helluva roof they had. I so wish this house and family could have had a happier ending.
same here watching in from ireland some of them big houses in the american country side where stunning... but what takes away from that is the really sad story behind it all ...............the bed linen was still on the beds is was as if there was somebody still living there................
What happened to the girl that went to jail? She would be out of jail by now. What about her other siblings? Why wouldn’t anyone come back or tell their story? How were you given permission to investigate the house? Sorry, so many questions! Please…I want/need to know more!
Thank you for this video. I truly appreciate the history that you provide about your explores, this one included. Thank you too, for coining the phrase "the original crime" the childrens' upbringing. You seem to be a wise man with empathy.
It always amazes me how parents couldn't know what was going on with their children or didn't want to be bothered with it. So sad that the signs of the daughter in her room were overlooked
Thank you Jeremy for allowing us to experience these museums of memories and antiques. Your presentations are so respectful. I know you have also touched the Souls of the ones who have passed on with your tender acknowledgment of their love for family and lifes happier days.
I’m surprised you didn’t “feel it” … That bedroom with the sink & carpet…. I felt sick and almost physically trapped. I wonder if the daughter(s) who lives here is watching from somewhere. I feel like they are. Great filming and narrating! Thanks for sharing.
I actually wondered if someone from the family is somewhere watching too. I hope they are okay wherever they are and they’ve found peace somehow from this terrible situation
@@cathyreardon8979in the video that you saw of this house, was there a knife next to the note near the front door? When he comments that you can feel the love in this place already from that note, I wondered where the knife had gone. I wasn't sure it was the same place til I saw that note.
one minute silence for those who think that the story narrated by jeremy is true and the letter as well, as this house was abandoned since 1980s and that letter should also be there since then. then how its colour doesn't change to yellow as we all know that colour of paper get changed over time.
As far as I researched, those paintings where from Ozz Franca a Brazilean painter. I saw early 2023 this two were sold on Etsy, with the same exact frame and the same plate with the name. Someone got them and make money with this xD
I can almost guarantee this house was NOT ABANDONNED 40 years ago. Most videos with titles stating "abandonned" are WRONG. Rarely do people "abandon" their property....in these cases, owners must be ALIVE & simply give up on OWNING it. If they are still alive & it was TAKEN AWAY via failure to maintain or tax reasons........that is NOT abandonment rather, it's aquisition by a government sector. This home, as most in these EXPLORE videos have simply been BOUGHT, inherited, or NEGLECTED. If BOUGHT or inherited & rarely utilized as a HOME to be lived in by the owners, it's most often used as STORAGE!! Yes....STORAGE & that's all! NO grand back story on owners merely getting up & suddenly LEAVING NEVER TO RETURN! That is so RARE!! Yes, there indeed are intriguing stories within families while residing in these homes but again....most back stories on these properties are as follows: Owners in assisted living, death with NO inheritors, failure to pay taxes resulting on acquisition by government or pending legal disputes......👉 abandonnedment is RARE!!
Finally someone who says it. I always find a lot of inconsistencies with these stories but hey, they sell apparently so I keep quiet. People like stories

I have seen explorations on this property nonstop for the past 5 months. But definitely what made you stand out. Was giving a full and proper information on what actually took place. Ask I'm watching the video. I also noticed the stablins to the doll those were not there 5 months ago. So many things are the broken or missing since then. How quickly people going into that property and change it. It's really sad it should have stayed the way it was.
I've only seen 1 other explore it and post it on his channel. He did say he felt uneasy in this house just because of what little he knew. But this is the most thoroughly researched background on one I've seen. My first or 3nd time to see this explorer's version. Like them all. If I could do this I'd would be doing all kinds of research on it and talk to neighbors and just get various people input.
Dear Jeremy, thanks for the infomation you gave before the video and during the movie. Your respecfull way of narration and display of properties makes respect your job and your personality.
This is the first video of yours I have watched and I have to say I'm loving the history like so many others. I love the volume of your voice... but that wink convinced me to subscribe AND follow you on other social media. Looking forward to all your videos!
My grandparents had this same picture of the child, horse and barn in their living room for as long as I can remember. This house is tragic in so many ways. Good job respecting to family and the property.
So who owns all of the things inside houses like this that you explore? So many priceless memories and beautiful pieces that are just sitting there and rotting. That seems sad to me. Would anyone not claim it? Thanks for these videos! 🧡🤍
Many States have laws that pertain to abandoned structures, that after a certain amount of years, and if the front and rear doors are not secured , no maintained or any attention for that matter will deem a house or building abandoned and pretty much finders keepers, and also there are ton's of back property taxes owed to the county of said property, and the counties are not interested in the contents of the building, , I am sure they could have back in the day found a buyer, specially for a low price, there is a market for everyone, but now the county most likely will just level the home and all its contents into a big hole that's what usually happens to make room for future condos or of the like, emanate domain will kick in, it happened recently in my town dozens of old farm houses with no one claiming the properties where leveled to make room for a new highway, I explored some of these homes of which also contained all furnishings and belongings of former tenants all leveled and put into big holes, again EMANATE DOMAIN so that is usually the fate of a lot of these old homes, in the case of this house any families' can of course come and take any of things if any one is still alive, but it's not like anyone is going to make a Police report of theft of anything taken from this house I know this is long winded but it owes explanation I am a retired LEO, so I know a little about the subject, and also if there are no , NO TRESSPASSING signs posted that matters as well, Police just don't want usually a bunch of kids hanging out there where they could get hurt in a decaying structure .
If anyone wanted to try to purchase anything from this house, I would suggest they research the property's tax records. There may still be an owner listed for it.
I had to clean out my parents town house after they both died five months from one another in 2018. It was pure torture, not from anything that happened as in this story, but only because of the memories and the feeling of loss. I can't begin to describe how painful it was, as I was close to them but at the time, I lived 11 hours away, and I wasn't there for them as much as I wanted. People tend to do this in the UK too. They will leave a house as a shrine, or cannot deal with the pain they would go through to empty the house of their cloths and personal belongings. It's much easier to just close the door and walk away. In this case there is another form of trauma. One can hardly blame the family from leaving everything other than maybe their cloths and running, never to look back.
Thank you, it is always good to have the back story to an abandoned home, we see and watch many videos of abandoned structures but never learn why, good research here, and this is truly a bizarre story with unfortunately a horrific end.
Hi, I'm new here, but I'm really enjoying the video. I was born in 1966, so I'm very familiar with the Americana style of decorating. The Bicentennial was in 1976, and everyone started decorating with the reds and blues with flags, drums and muzzleloader rifles. And somehow the Spanish influence became part of it. As random as it looks now, it was really big in the 70's and 80's.
You need to do more story telling! Honestly really loved every bit & very well done. MrBallen has the same effect & doing it direct was great! Subscribed! **Oh & the wink! A major plus!
I agree with the others. I love how much time you take and the respect you have for the family that lived there and the history that you share. You have a gift for story telling for sure. 😊
Why that family deserve respect!? If what he say is true, little girls suffer horrible abuse in this house by their own brother and maybe even by their father too!!! People just think about the material things and not what is really important here, the girl must had have a strong reason to kill her own brother.
Absolutely love your story telling on your explores, you truly bring the viewer into the place to experience what you do. A huge th from Ontario CANADA
Wow this was truly awesome and a time capsule for sure. You do it very well too ! Thanks for bringing this to us all . Looking forward to watching your other ones. 😁💞
While this story is horrific, I just can't believe how beautiful this old house is. The wood working and furniture still left behind is a shame! Can't believe the family just up and left everything behind!! I guess it was too hard to go back in there for the parents. I don't blame them, but I'm certainly not wealthy enough to just abandon my home and start over somewhere else. Thank you for sharing this amazingly sad story, but what a beautiful house! Stay safe and thank you for sharing, Jeremy! Peace, Kim ~
The old telephone is actually a transistor radio made to look like an old phone. Also, under the staircase is usually a storage area. Sometimes entry is through a hidden door or panel. You need to go back and check it out, just for me!😄
Hello Jeremy, this exploration was amazing!! The story of what happened is definitely sad I feel sorry for the kids. Thank you for sharing a interesting exploration .🤗💕
I agree with you. Too clean. No one may live there day to day,but someone is trying to look after it. Doing a little to keep it clean. The curtains are way too clean after 40 years ,so are the walls and floors. The daughter is surely out of the place she had to to. Who knows, maybe she's staying there.
Watchful neighbours. It amazes me as well as where I live it's about 24 HOURS after the occupants leave until a door or window is booted in and squatters druggies etc taking over and this sat untouched for 40 years.
back when this hour was built, the kithen was seperated from the main living space by a breaze way - hence the inclosure of what would have been a porch conecting the two areas of the house. This was done to keep the heat out of the main part of the house during the summer in southern homes.
The more I watch this the more questions I have. The owners need an estate planner or appraiser to help them with this beautiful property. Tragic on every level. Incredible explore & amazing video. I would have been in this house for days trying to learn even more about this family.

Great video!! Thanks again for taking us along ... amazing to see that house. Wow. Reminds me of some of the big old houses near Savannah, Ga. Not looking for an actual location, but what was the closest town to where this happened?
I found the house for sale on Facebook when this video was released. It was available for viewing at the time it was filmed. The realtor confirmed that there were no murders at the house. The new owner (Christy Loftin) has been informed about this video and the fabricated story.
@@queenofhearts6127 Of course the realtor isn’t going to openly jeopardize the sale of a home that’s been long overdue on the market. There may be story inconsistencies but not solely fabricated as suggested by some people on the comments
That piece of painted furniture is so pretty. Thank you for sharing this with us. So fun to see, better than a museum! I bet that American flag only has 38 stars. Who owns it now? Interesting, so fascinating seeing our old history and how the families really lived in their houses. Beautiful...On the phone in the kitchen you would listen with the corded piece & talk into the funnel shaped piece on the front. That pink bedroom & the master was in such pristine order! Thanks again, 1st time seeing your channel. Well done.
This house is still very sturdy even after being abandoned for so many years. That alone is amazing. Surprisingly dust and var it free. Too bad no one cares to save it. Amazing quality.
I love ur channel, ur extensive knowledge and ur positive attitude! I’m from the south, my entire life…a very old town in NC, Louisburg. So I just thought I’d tell ya- another reason for painting ur porch ceiling blue is so the birds don’t make nest up there. They think it’s the sky. 😉 we all still do it today. Happy exploring!
Nice video! I believe the little phone that you saw on the wall was just a novelty notepad. While there were phones that were like that in the past, I think that 1 was just a novelty notepad that hung underneath where the regular phone would hook in the wall. Maybe?
I cannot find a thing on Google, absolutely nothing, about this story. I searched and searched. I searched youngest killers list, I searched all murder victims in Georgia dating back to the 1800s, nothing.
This youtuber is a STRAIGHT UP LIAR Scott great job on exposing this jerk for making shit up for views! Pathetic! So many idiots believing him blinding! 🙄
So I have seen/heard other urbex explorers at this house, but you are the first one that told the full story of what happened! I also never heard about the porch color warding off spirits. Thank you for the extra details..... And as always...I cld listen to your voice forever! Wldnt it be cool to see what happened to the family after they moved to Florida?! One LAST thing...do you think the DAUGHTER turned the crosses upside-down and stabbed her doll OR do you think someone (another explorer) ELSE did it for effect?!
Probably someone did it for effect. I'm guessing that they were right side up in the parents room, the paintings of the sad girls were originally in the girls room. No chance the doll was left like that seeing how the boys room looks like it exploded
Great explore ! What stumps me is the amount of furniture in the house and No possible arrangement could be done with so many pieces! Strange where it all came from ….🤷♀️
I don’t know much about evil spirits but I have lived in the south for years . They paint the ceilings of covered patios blue so that wasps and dust daubers don’t make nests on them.
There’s no record of any sister murdering her brother in any county in GA in the 80’s. Period. Thats simply an old house (antique) that someone purchased to hoard antiques.
Or an old couple died that had children that didn't want anything or they didn't have a will. Yeah I'm from Georgia and you're right. There's all kinds of abandon old homes here from old dead people with no families. And this hasn't been abandoned since the 80's. That's very obvious
As old as that house is the condition that it is in and the hand tooled staircase speaks to the craftsmanship of the carpenters and builder's of this old and amazing mansion.
When you were walking up to this big house I thought wow it's all hidden away. I like it when nature takes over and reclaims her territory. One part of the furniture you called wicker is really called rattan, it's round wood where wicker is flat. FYI I think all the woodworking and staircase was awesome 👌. But for me when you went out on that unusual porch that pretty much talked to me, I loved it and the sunshine coming through was warming. I could see me reading a book or doing some artwork, boy! Would I like to have a porch like that. Now one last thing there have been times when people worship the darkness they seem to bring something in that's negative or evil. And I have read there are times they leave their house and everything in it because they are afraid of bringing it with them. And they don't sell their house because they don't want other people to have to deal with it. Now I am not saying this is the case just referring to books I have read about other people. Oh, I was wondering whatever happened to this young girl after she served her time in the mental institution? I think the whole senerio is so sad 😞. But thank you for your wonderful explore Jeremy 😊
This one makes me sad! Abuse should ever happen in a family! However, watching previous videos of yours seem to have lots of family photos in the house. This house had 1 2" x 2" photo! Unless they removed family photos, this was disturbing to me...
The fact the house went untouched for so long. Almost makes me wonder if it's still possible for there to be DNA. It's sick thinking how often this probably happened and how many women were locked away for finally standing up for themselves.
Do the research yourself folks and you'll find out with other commenters this history of this house is a whole lie nothing happened like that in this house at all please search people research research research don't just believe some random UA-camr that wants views! 😂
I love the way really old homes were designed for natural air flow and circulation. Combined with the natural materials used in construction they stay fresh and don't mold like newer constructions.
20:27 You gave me a good chuckle "old phone" as you seemed to not know that wasn't a real vintage phone. That was actually a toy from the 70s that was used as a walkie-talkie intercom kind of thing.. A real phone like that is much larger and definitely doesn't have plastic parts. nevertheless great explore and commentary.
Carpeted bathroom floors... REALLY BIG in the late Sixties on up through the early Eighties.😒 The TV in the closeable cabinet is early 1950s... The little plastic "phone" on the wall, next to the stove is a transistor radio that's made to look like an early crank phone... I remember my aunt having one similar in her kitchen... I think you could buy them out of the old Harriet Carter catalog. The military themed stuff (muzzle loader rifles, parchment scrolls, drums, eagles, etc) was really popular as decor around 1976, which of course was the American Bicentennial. As far as that blue upstairs room is concerned, I personally don't think it was ever a "boys room", what with the frilly curtains and fancy knick knacks here and there. With "exploring" being such a big deal over the last few years... It's sad that people have had to "stage" those abandoned places for pictures. I'd like to spend a night on the property and run a digital recorder... I wonder if it'd pick anything up?
Love this one...Love all the antiques....was probably a beautiful place in its time ....Thanks for great videos....was introduced to your site by watching Big Bankz
I have seen someone else do this mansion, and I appreciate the fact that you dig in and do the whole backstory. I truly believe that the girl was not into satanic rituals, because if you look at the wall hangings, they don’t necessarily look like upside down crosses. that could be a style of art, that would hold flowers or some thing else. I can’t remember what the style of art was called. The dark eyed children pictures on the walls of the boy were very popular in the 60s, along with a big eyed cat. I truly think that the reason you don’t get any bad vibes in this house, because The child was abused by her father and her brother because that was something common in that period of time in the south. I really appreciate the way you bring us the story and your style of exploring! Geez, I would love to have this house. The random sinks in the room seem to be something from the French or European countries. I bet this family was well traveled or at least whoever designed the mansion. I would love to bring it back to life!
Many people paint their porch ceilings blue to prevent wasp nests. The wasps think it’s sky so will not build nests on the ceiling and walls. I don’t know if it really works. Great video.
I thought it was to keep evil spirits away.
That’s what I was thinking. Where I live in Georgia we paint it blue to prevent/reduce insects from taking up residence.
Hmmm... I never heard that before.
It was to keep evil spirits away... Wtf did you get wasp nest from. Lmao.

I totally agree! He really takes the time to tell us the story, and he is so respectful when he walks through the houses.
I agree too, it’s great to know the story behind the building …makes it much more fascinating to watch ..
You should also check out The Proper People if you haven't already. Very similar in terms of quality of content.
Same to me...❤
I can't believe you think this house interior is in this condition. I've had to stay in hotels that didn't look this good. 😂
Same here
Born in 65, this brought back memories
Born late 1950’s…my mom had a singer sewing machine and we also had a Sylvania black and white tv.
@@michelleashley4862 ,eu nasci em 51,éramos muito humildes, não tínhamos tv, imagine esses lindos moveis, Brasil,
I remember a lot of these things too.
I felt as you, and I also had a very strange feeling frovv the house.
Nobody has died in that house, at all!
One never knows, each person has their own truth.😊
Its not true.

Thank you for not posting too much info regarding location. I'd hate to see things stolen from there.

Such a terrible waste. Why not sell everything? Just nuts...
Woah!!!! That's really creepy.
Why did you find out?
@Bush_Fam unfortunately so far nothing else. It's farther than we wanted, and the holidays have caught up so we haven't contacted anyone yet.

Haunted??

She and her brother must have endured living hell and I hope they are in a better place now.
What a sad, but beautiful home. 🤍😟🙏
Why don’t you show the newspaper clips about the case? It’s easy to say it happend but were is the proof?
Because there aren't any that I can find. No 1982 murder of any brother by any sister, in Georgia or anywhere. It should be easy to find with the whole satanic angle. But there just isn't any newspaper article anywhere.
That's cause it NEVER HAPPENED & youtubers make shit up like this for more views! 😒
Also this looks like a garbage dump. Its not like people would buy more stuff to make piles before they leave it. Where did all these come from?
The proof is how about you research
The unfortunate thing about the antiques is that the kids don’t want them. I have several beautiful pieces. Told my child who is 22 I would haunt her if she didn’t at least take her great grandmothers desk. Her namesake. People buy them up for cheap and paint them for resale. 🤯 They want all this new looking furniture, but with the antique quality which you can’t find at a retail store.
It’s so crazy to me that people paint over the beautiful wood grain and cover up all the character
@@JeremyXplores It makes me cringe, but I’m fairly sure it will happen to all the pieces I have when I get dead. The good thing is, I won’t know. 🤣
My kids don’t want anything when I die. Kids and grandkids now days don’t see the sentimental value in our stuff like we do. I’m 64 and have my mama’s cookie jar that she was given on her 16th birthday by the jewel t man

Hey Jeremy, the trip through this house was definitely wild and I had a lot of thoughts. It sure makes you wonder where all the people ended up.
How many are still living? The antiques are priceless they left behind. Did the girl that murdered her brother, did she ever get out of prison or wherever
she ended up? How old is she now? There's a lot of questions for sure. Your videos are great. THANKS
according to a comment.. she's 57 now
Well she was 14 in 1982, making her 55 now. And sentenced to 28 years in the facility. Trials can take a few years so she probably was released between 2010 and 2015.
I didn’t see any priceless antiques. The sofa and chair were covered in a 1980-1990 fabric.

Yes, there indeed are intriguing stories within families while residing in these homes but again....most back stories on these properties are as follows:
Owners in assisted living, death with NO inheritors, failure to pay taxes resulting on acquisition by government or pending legal disputes......👉 abandonnedment is RARE!!
Finally someone who says it. I always find a lot of inconsistencies with these stories but hey, they sell apparently so I keep quiet. People like stories

@@veruca41How would one get the address of the property to research?
You are awesome! Thank you for telling us the story behind the mention. Very well done.
Hello, happy New Years to you 🎉
Amazing house and the story behind it !! I feel very sad for her !! Thank you for posting !!
Thank you, it is always good to have the back story to an abandoned home, we see and watch many videos of abandoned structures but never learn why, good research here, and this is truly a bizarre story with unfortunately a horrific end.
Thank you so much for showing this Jeremy. The sound of your voice very calming.
Wow. Beautiful woodwork. And furniture. Sad it was left. Must have been horrific for this family to abandon everything
Seeing all the beautiful antiques you find is amazing, but it breaks my heart to think they are left their to rot!
Same here, hi happy New Years to you 🎉
Why that family deserve respect!? If what he say is true, little girls suffer horrible abuse in this house by their own brother and maybe even by their father too!!! People just think about the material things and not what is really important here, the girl must had have a strong reason to kill her own brother.

Absolutely love your story telling on your explores, you truly bring the viewer into the place to experience what you do. A huge th from Ontario CANADA
Wow this was truly awesome and a time capsule for sure. You do it very well too ! Thanks for bringing this to us all . Looking forward to watching your other ones. 😁💞
Thank you so much for working so hard for bring your videos where we can see them🙏❣
What a beautiful home so sad thanks for showing it be safe
While this story is horrific, I just can't believe how beautiful this old house is. The wood working and furniture still left behind is a shame! Can't believe the family just up and left everything behind!! I guess it was too hard to go back in there for the parents. I don't blame them, but I'm certainly not wealthy enough to just abandon my home and start over somewhere else. Thank you for sharing this amazingly sad story, but what a beautiful house! Stay safe and thank you for sharing, Jeremy! Peace, Kim ~
I love this mansion, especially the wrap-around porch. Such a sad, sad story. Great video, thanks for sharing.
The old telephone is actually a transistor radio made to look like an old phone. Also, under the staircase is usually a storage area. Sometimes entry is through a hidden door or panel. You need to go back and check it out, just for me!😄
I wanted him to go in there too.. @JeremyXplore ya gota go back 😅
Hello Jeremy, this exploration was amazing!! The story of what happened is definitely sad I feel sorry for the kids. Thank you for sharing a interesting exploration .🤗💕
There is no way that this house has been sitting untouched and empty for 40 years! No way!
Ask the neighbors, towns folk
Yes it is 40 yrs add up from 1982 to 2022 because these comments are 5 to 6 months ago so it is less 6months from June 2023 which is now.
I agree with you. Too clean. No one may live there day to day,but someone is trying to look after it. Doing a little to keep it clean. The curtains are way too clean after 40 years ,so are the walls and floors. The daughter is surely out of the place she had to to. Who knows, maybe she's staying there.
Wow! Some know-it-alls, lol!
It's a made up story folks! Geeze no such crime happened in Georgia in 1980s! May goodness you all! Use a search engine!
It's really insane! The lack of dust and damage, and lack of theft or vandalism. I wonder why?
These people would have to be pretty old by now ,this place has been abandoned for 40 years so more then likely they will never return for this stuff
@@deloreslopez1212 não entendi porque tantos moveis empilhados uns sobre os outros, nunca vi casa tão grande igual essa, chega ser esquisito, senti uma energia negativa,
This story is fabricated (confirmed by the GA police) and it was on the market at the time and has been sold to a new owner who has been notified of this video.
I won’t post the address but another commenter has posted it along with the property listing on here.
@queenofhearts6127 ❤ thanks much seriously! I can't stand it when folks make shit up for views! It's pathetic 😒!
Great video!! Thanks again for taking us along
... amazing to see that house. Wow. Reminds me of some of the big old houses near Savannah, Ga. Not looking for an actual location, but what was the closest town to where this happened?
Thank you for another great exploration. Be safe always.. 👍🔥
I hate to doubt the veracity of the back story but there's absolutely nothing on the internet about it.
I like the way you give details to it's history ,,informative... the reason why it was abandoned🙏🙇♂
Lights are on, someone is taking care of it.

Maybe?
It is a radio made to look like an old phone.
I cannot find a thing on Google, absolutely nothing, about this story. I searched and searched. I searched youngest killers list, I searched all murder victims in Georgia dating back to the 1800s, nothing.
It means your research are weak 😕
I wondered about the crosses and the doll too.
Probably someone did it for effect.
I'm guessing that they were right side up in the parents room, the paintings of the sad girls were originally in the girls room.
No chance the doll was left like that seeing how the boys room looks like it exploded
I think it's done for effect
Research it yourself it's a lie it never happened in Georgia history 🤣🤣🤣 !
💯… I found most of these stories all these influencers tell are bs …
Historical society should try and purchase this property and restore it and make it a museum such a beautiful house just rotting away

You gave me a good chuckle "old phone" as you seemed to not know that wasn't a real vintage phone.
That was actually a toy from the 70s that was used as a walkie-talkie intercom kind of thing..
A real phone like that is much larger and definitely doesn't have plastic parts.
nevertheless great explore and commentary.
I can’t find anything to back this story ever happened…
Carpeted bathroom floors... REALLY BIG in the late Sixties on up through the early Eighties.😒
The TV in the closeable cabinet is early 1950s...
I think your words make sense 🤔
Want to tell you Jeremy I love this tour through this old house and the time you take to show it thanks for letting me tag along stay cool stay safe.
