Thanks for the playthrough. My ultimate pledge just arrived and I am going to have to sleeve it tomorrow. I am not sure I enjoy the solo variant with the 3 heroes sharing one deck though. It is so easy to play multiple heroes by yourself, given that the game has nearly no upkeep. I think I would always choose to play multihanded (which I did with the base game in wave 1 and had a blast with it).
I really love the uniform art style of the cards and the minis. If anything, I'd like to collect them but since I missed out on the kickstarter I doubt there's going to be a way to get the KS exclusives without spending so much on them. Do you/will you paint your minis?
@Bryan Dumaguing I think even without the kickstarter exclusives, it this seems like a game you would enjoy the planned expansions should provide enough variety. And with my eyes, shaky hands and lack of time ... I probably won't be doing much miniature painting, although I do want to try some. :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer cool. Make a vid of it too if you can! I'm really enjoying your content. By the way, I got the Red Skull expansion and Hulk pack from Amazon last week. Kang was not yet in stock when I ordered first week of October. I'll just probably get it once Ant-Man is available. I heard though that Wasp is going to be delayed until next year.
@Aman Parekh Thanks for watching! While I haven't tried 2 or 3 handed, I do like keeping it simple and using the solo rules works for me. I like that I don't need to have 2 or 3 separate hero decks and just have everything in one hand of cards. Do you have a preference?
Corners curling up means low humidity, requires a warm air humidifier. Curling down, or bowing like a bridge means too much humidity, requires a dehumidifier. hope that helps, cheers!

@Bjoern Roepstorff You are welcome, and thanks for stopping by! Hope my copy arrives soon! I might have to try the two-handed play. also. :)
I'm sooo definitely getting this game plus the expansion s
@Stephen Carey Rumor is the expansions are shipping ... and of course the X-Men version will be coming to KickStarter soon!

this game looks good
Those wild cards are very powerful indeed, especially when you are able to play several in a row. Have you tried the game without any Wild cards?
@Guillaume Pages So far, I haven't played on any harder modes ... I've been keeping all the wilds. :)
How have you done taking some out?
Do you prefer the solo rules or playing 2/3 handed?

Can a thug on a civilIan spot and vice-versa ? What if the thug spots are all full, can I put it on a civilian spot or does that mean game over ?
The pictures are just for setting up the game.
How are you keeping the cards so nice and flat? I'm finding mine curling up in the corners.
@DesertRavenGamer I have the playing cards sleeved with DragonShields. Hope that helps!

So glad I went with Marvel Champions instead of this.
@EATENG I would definitely rate Champions higher than this game, but this game would be easier to teach to new or younger players.
