FNAF Security Breach Is A (fun) Disaster (And how to fix it)

Five nights at freddys security breach is the most recent addition to the tangled mess that is the fnaf timeline, its a disaster, but honestly its fun, it isn't a bad game, in fact i think steel wool did quite well, i just think, for what it was trying to be, it was a mess and definitely lacked the time and money required for this team to get their vision across
that is if they even ever decided on one single vision for the game going forward
how will they fix Security Breach?
will they fix it?
i dont know, but lets try and think of some possible solutions

Ooh you have some really interesting ideas! I think my favourite out of these is the Welcome Back, Again fix.
In my (and a ton of other people's) opinion the original FNaF story surrounding the Afton family and the victims of William's crimes trying to get revenge on him ended with Pizza Sim and should have stayed that way, Afton staying dead -- "I always come back" was cool until it was used as an excuse to bring him back rather than a genuine sentiment he felt.
After seeing everybody's thoughts on this game's story though, I gotta say I think one of the best ideas I've seen people bring up is also the idea that Vanessa would be an imitator obsessed with the old stories of Afton's crimes surrounding Fazbear Entertainment, to the point where she would start abducting and killing children there herself, which I think could work really well if leaned into and done tastefully
(speaking of which, I'm pretty sure some of the MANY pieces of unused content found in the release patches of SB indicate that Vanessa was actually planned to be playable at some point, so the theories you mentioned weren't fully wrong)
For now though, I really don't see how the story of this game would be significantly retconned any time soon, even if that was feasible for Steel Wool to do. Seems like I'll just have to enjoy the incredibly broken glitches of SB for now rather than enjoy the game as a fully genuine and great FNaF soft-reboot :/
FNAF world was awesome tho
Ive always felt this throughout the game’s promotion, and the dev interviews kinda add to it. Its pretty evident that steel wool had no clue what they were doing when making this game. They were given the task of creating the next fnaf game and came up with a ton of concepts for areas, mechanics, events, etc. In most games this does happen, but most concepts end up cut as the team picks and chooses what will work best. Steel wool on the other hand, decided to use ALL of them. So, even with their pressure from the fans and sony to release, they tried to incorporate every idea they had into the game. As the game got closer to release, they finally realized something they should have a long time ago: they were too ambitious. But it was too late to make any major changes at that point, so they cobbled together whatever they could with their limited time and released a buggy, incoherent, confusing, and under-tested mess of a game.
Steel wool is a VR game studio. And they do a hell of a good job at VR experiences. But they have little to no experience with an action-adventure campaign. They were not the right studio to produce this game and the responsibility to so so should absolutely have been given to someone else. Its like telling a rock musician to write a classical orchestra. Steel Wool does not have the specialty needed to create a game like this.
How I would fix FNAF SB
1. Vanny is new main villain NOT William
2. add goar to the game
3. Freddy betrays Gregory in a alternate path and you have no protection
4. afton ending is not cannon and the dlc story is separate (the announced one)
5. Afton stays a glitch
6. Dead children
7. Vanny has her knife
8. As the night progresses in every way you play the game have the animatronics will become more aggressive
9. Make the game darker (story and lighting)
10. Make a new ending where vanny betrays William and take all power. (Becomes the new William but more crazy because of his influence on her)
11. Make Freddy, Chica, Roxanne, and sun/ moon man boss fights
12. Make a better vanny boss fight
13. Make an actual boss fight for burn trap!!!
14. Revise all endings
15. Fix and add more content to game
16. add ending where vanny wins
17. (Before it happens) make Gregory a separate character from crying child
18. Explain why Vanessa is the only other human worker in the pizza plex
another change is to make malhare an experiment that william was working on but never completed and make gregory special in some way to the point where malhare and vanny view him as a potential threat and maybe even a valuable tool for them
1. The afton ending isn't canon
2. The 8nly gore u0 to this point was either i.pied or a game over screen so no
3. You can change the lighting and make it as dark as you want
I like this style
Personally, I had a similar concept for the horde of souls, but instead of Afton's doing, it was Golden Freddy, following the ending of Ultimate Custom Night, where all the souls released and Afton goes to hell, but Cassidy is still stuck on the Fredbear suit since she didn't move on because of being denied an eternity of torturing William.
So instead of this whole bullshit of Afton's soul coming back from Hell because he left a remnant of his psyche in the internal systems of Spring Bonnie or whatever the hell, Cassidy's soul is haunting the game, and brainwashes Vanessa to kill kids to amass an army of vengeful souls to rip Afton out of Hell and back into limbo, where Cassidy can do whatever she pleases to torture him, and I'm obviously biased, but I think it's a better story than "And then Afton came back again".
More Fixing ideas for Fnaf Security Breach.
First encounter with Monty is still the same, He still bursts through the fence but put Roxy in Chica’s Place….Chica was eating garbage when we first encountered her….it doesn’t make sense for her to be there if she was somewhere else eating Garbage.
We make it to the lobby, where it switches to night time mode…..we get the complementary pass but meanwhile the doors in the security off don’t hold for long….Roxy and Monty make their way to the lobby…..if we get caught by the STAFF-actually get rid of the STAFF BOTS, rather than STAFF Bots….add security camera’s that either Have Light shining from them and we have to avoid the spotlight or Monty and Roxy instead of teleporting, will run to Gregory or the Spotlight Will alert Vanny.
When Gregory gets banned from the Daycare…The Animatronics run to us instead of teleporting….and another thing Vanny follows too….we enter the daycare level 10 doors on the left, entering the Daycare Theatre…..The GlamRocks and Vanny track us…..and we use those pile of cans to distract them(except Vanny)…..we sneak past them, out of the Daycare Theatre, into Kids cove and into the Atrium.
We head into the Vent on the first floor….but because of Vanny joining the Hunt…..she follows us into the Vent….. there is no Music Man in the vent in this version…..we eventually get out of the vent……There is no Pizza making game in this because Chica is not there…..instead we have to run because of Vanny…..if the spotlight from the camera spots on us, Vanny gets alerted…..yes…I’m not including Vanessa in this……Since Vanny showing up after Vanessa in the lost and found caused major confusion on if they are the same person or not.

I would have happily taken a two year delay if it meant that we would have gotten the original story, I would have even given up ruin for the original story
Good news you don’t have to pay for the dlc once it comes out but you probably already know that oh and also I don’t know if you knew this or not but vanny was originally supposed to appear a lot more than she did but “surprisingly” there’s some weird bug that messed that up there are a few people who’ve talked about it but I also noticed that at one point in the game There was no vanny which was normal to me but my friend got to the same part and there was vanny chase I will mention that this was after the ha ha funny Freddy saying vent thing anyways sorry for the long comment and have a great whoever reads this oh and great video keep it up
