Honestly Vanny killing the entire night staff by luring them to a cake party is pretty on brand. One thing that’s pretty sinister: all the posters in that room feature images of the characters’ open jaws, teeth ready to take a bite out of someone.
The cake is almost 100% what William Afton did to Susie. The cake was a lie to lure most likely Vanny into getting all.of tye nightshift staff into a room with their guard down, like how William said he found Susie's dog.

Matpat's theory on security breach got everything of the game's story right before It released, so the devs thought It would be a good idea to change the whole game so that these theories are wrong. That's why like a good 60% of the game is just scrapped content.
Honestly "Training that creepy bot" sounds like a mimic to me. You don't train normal robots you program them but self learning AI powered endoskeleton absolutely sounds like a creepy bit that would have to be trained
TBF to Luis, it has been scientifically proven that the written word is the *worst* method of communication simply by virtue of the fact that tone and inflection is nigh impossibile to convey or detect accurately. So, Luis is probably very earnest, but also awkward af. I absolutely see how he could come off as creepy or having Nice Guy Syndrome(tm) to some folks, but for me, he is one of the few cases in FNAF where I would attribute his behavior to idiocy rather than malice. 💚
Also, can I bring up something about his name? I feel like everyone is saying his name incorrectly. The spelling (Luis) implies it is Latin/Spanish in origin, rather than French or English. This means the pronunciation would be "Loo-eece." Were it spelled differently (Louis), that would indicate it is pronounced "Lewis", like you do it here in the video, or even "Loo-ee," were he French, or even Canadian. 😊 Not slagging off on you or anything, Nota, but its something I keep noticing, and I finally had the brain power to remember to mention it today. (Of course, there is always the possibility someone from Steel Wool has clarified this somewhere and I simply missed it. In that case, please just overlook my overthinking everything while I go hide in the Box of Shame.😅) As always, the video is lovely, and I'm so glad I found your channel. Believe it or not, the wiki states (with sources) that Vanessa actually likes Luis and finds him funny. I find that a lot of the creepiness in this video just comes from this gal's interpretation, as well as putting all these messages together. Like, of course it's going to sound creepier than if those were spaced months apart.
He is flirting with a person under his supervision at work, that's already not great even if he thinks she is pretty. He is also reading the card on flowers sent to her by another man and questioning her health instead of asking if she is possibly in danger.
Random note, but Sun and/or Moon might know a bit about maintenance since Moon does manage to take down Freddy, bring him into the patented safety tube, and strap him in. Sure Freddy was damaged and we don’t really see it happen but this is FNaF, we’ve done more with less.
The daycare attendant being the creepy Bot definitely lines up with your older theory that the daycare attendant also appears in the ball pit cleaner area, the basement, and mazercise
Here’s what I how the game should have gone. 1. Security breach should have come out with 5/6 chapters, with each chapter representing a single night their, the 6th one is a extra night. 2. Vanessa and vanny should have either been separate people, or the same but they aren’t aware of each other, and they should’ve had more screen time with Vanessa being a ally unaware she’s the antagonist and vanny trying to catch us more. 3. Glitchtrap should have been in the game as a final or secret boss battle. 4. The game should of had more weapons and tools to better help you during the night and make your survival more versatile and capable, and their should be a thing wear we can upgrade or buy new items. 5. The pizzaplex should have been darker with only neon lights to add to the fear factor, it should have also revolved more around flashlights and stealth and the security systems. 6. As the nights continue we can choose to either destroy or save the animatronics from the glitchtrap virus and they help us. 7. Their should have been more human characters along with Gregory and vanessa. 8. While playing as Gregory their should have a meter for energy, health and supplies, and we also could play as Vanessa. 9. Their should have been 3 endings a good/true ending where we stop glitchtrap and fix everything, a bad/false ending where we lose and glitchtrap wins, and a secret/mystery ending where we discover a unknown secret. 10. Their should be more animated cutscene, whether their 2d animation or 3d animation.
Luis seems to be similar to Luis from American Psycho, both falling for co workers who happen to be serial killers(while seeing red flags, choosing to ignore them)whom they both admire, even if the admiration they get back is disputable. And of course the second comment: The idea of Vanny luring the whole Fazbear staff and attempting to order 66 them all actually would have made a good alternative game story for security breach, especially a more alien isolation time version of it. I would have done it basically like this: Company employee meetup yadah yadah, but no one knows who actually called for it, then when it turns 12 am, the lights go out across the Pizzaplex and the security system traps them in the building. What ensues next are the employees scattering across the Pizzaplex trying to avoid the mechanical monsters hunting them in the dark, as well as Vanny. Eventually the game’s protagonist, one of only a few survivors, manages to defeat Vanny and unmask her, then it turns 6 am and the security systems allow the door to open, I’m not sure how I’d end it but maybe the other survivors, or some of them turn out to be in cahoots with Vanny and just shoot the protag and any others, ending there on a cliffhanger. There’s other details I have in mind but this is long enough already lol.
Honestly I think it would've been cool to make this scenario happen before the events of Security Breach because it adds to the threatening nature of it that not even the adults were able to stop Vanny and the robots. It makes Gregory feel even more small and helpless. After all even if grown adults couldn't stop Vanny what makes a child think he can? It would've been fun to see Gregory witness what became of those employees who died and realize how bleak his situation is. And it would make sense that this is a one night game because obviously more people will arrive in the morning to check what happened and obviously call the authorities. Most effective horror games with a child as a protagonist take steps to make sure you *feel* that childlike vulnerability. Having an environment where Gregory sees what has become of adults, who children usually rely on, would've added to the fear factor
@@c.ccarlhead5744 Honestly yeah that's a good point, would have made a more interesting background story then anything, maybe being like a mystery subplot where only certain parts and pieces of the purge were shown, and it's up to the player, through Gregory, to try and piece things together while trying to survive, eventually pieceing together that Vanessa is Vanny, although maybe with a less obvious name lol.
My question regarding Luis is who's actually ignoring him? The one time they met in person was it Vanny or Vanessa? Vanessa admits to talking with him, finds him nice, maybe funny. Vanny wouldn't have any use for him so i can't see her giving him the time of day, unless it was to determine if he was a threat in his concern.
Vanessa says that "He's nice, I guess" so it could be here. Or maybe it's Vanny. Or maybe Vanny was the one puppeteering Vanessa to approach to learn more about IT so they could use it to then hack the system.
the production rush really cramped this games potential, and I wish steelwool could've gotten away with a delay to fully finish the game. but, we've been given a lot of very interesting puzzle pieces to play with
Steel Wool's issue is that they kept making the pizzaplex bigger and adding more easter eggs instead of focusing on the actual game. The game was ruined by Steel Wool's incompetence more so than by time constraints.
It's honestly sort of true. Apparently Steel Wool says they're happy and proud of how SB turned out and I just cannot imagine how with the writing and design issues the game has even aside from it being notoriously buggy. The game has some cool concepts, but it's just so flawed, regardless of the circumstances that lead there. It's shiny and glossy which makes it stand out more than the others, appearing like a big shiny triple-A game instead of a small and simple indie game, but the overall quality of the final product is just not very good. It's very different from the others for an official FNAF game, being free roam with a huge map, but its objective quality is ultimately not that good given the writing problems as well as overall shallow and incomplete nature of a lot of aspects. Maybe they should've delayed the game for another two years to really let themselves build the best thing they could. I just don't get it, I feel like you have to be downright delusional to be proud of a product that's presented to the rest of the world in this sort of condition. And again, that's completely disregarding the actual bugs and only considered the game's design. Functionality wise SB is as if not more broken than initial release Cyberpunk 2077. And nothing about that is to celebrate. I'd seen people experience even worse bugs than what Markiplier did on his let's play of SB. Nah, Steel Wool saying they're proud is literally the PR speak meme. "Well, we have endeavored to make the best game we can and we are proud of what we achieved-"
I can't help but draw comparisons between SB and Doom 3 in this regard. Much like Security Breach Doom 3 ALSO let the player acquire logs of the various workers to give them a sense of what it's like to work under such extreme conditions. The difference? Presentation. Doom 3s overall story and narrative are minimalistic but it works extremely well with how the audio logs and various recordings are used to build upon the Mars base and the mysterious civilization who committed the ultimate sacrifice to stop the Demons from claiming the Earth as theirs once more Meanwhile Security Breach's story plays like different people wrote different parts of the story and the designers crammed it all together regardless of if the story beats presented contradicted each other or not

I like Luis. He's definitely a bit of a Nice Guy but somewhere in all that he's genuinely trying to connect with Vanessa and help her with her problems, even if he doesn't know said problem is a digitized murder bunny.

Wow, I did NOT realize Luis's emails were that creepy. The first couple I thought "Eh, he's a bit bold and abrasive but he seems to have good intentions" but then you k e p t g o i n g. I had no idea there were so many Luis emails and my GOSH. When I first saw them a while back, I saw Luis as a guy trying to break Vanessa's walls through stubbornness and positive messages. Vanessa's character is incredibly cold and mean in Security Breach, so I thought Luis was a sort of counter to that. Like the typical, "Closed off, rude character gets befriended by the upbeat, positive character through sheer force of will" kinda deal if that makes sense. Like Bakugo and Kirishima from My Hero Academia, if you know them. I saw Luis as a guy with an obvious crush and admiration, sure, but all his messages read to me as someone who wanted to get to know someone better but had a hard time connecting to them because of their closed-off personality. A guy with good intentions, but came across poorly. Obviously, this is CLEARLY not ok IRL, but that's just how I saw it from a fictional standpoint. But no, those emails are WEIRD. Looking back on them now, as opposed to back then, I have a lot more context to know that Luis is fricken WEIRD, man. IDK, I kinda liked it when I thought Luis was a guy who wanted to get to know Ness, try and break down her fortified walls, only to slowly fall into a rabbit hole and get roped into the entire Glitchtrap ordeal. It kinda makes Luis a more tragic character, an innocent guy with good intentions who just wanted to help Vanessa out and get to know her, only to unknowingly rope himself into a horrible conspiracy and maybe even get targeted by Glitchtrap. But yeah, Luis is kinda just gross now. Now I don't really care about him or what happens to him and I feel sorta bummed about that. Comparing the Luis in my head, a guy with a crush on his coworker and who tries to get to know her but stumbles upon something he shouldn't have, to the actual Luis, who's a full-on stalker who might've gotten what he deserved for snooping around, I can see a clear difference in how much I cared about him before and afterward.

It just feels weird how they tried to give Vanessa some off-screen love interest and it just felt like they were internally debating on whether or not they should have Vanessa like him back or be creeped out by Luis' shit. I'm just baffled at Luis as a character, he wasn't planned very well over time and could've been interesting, but they just reduced him to some guy Vanessa knows. I am starting to lean to the midnight staff meeting literally being a massacre set up by Mimic. We see in the Storyteller how it has control as a program, so maybe it being in control of programming somehow managed to round up the staff via emails? If not the AI, then Vanny. I know in the epilogues we see Mimic dismembering people which would make sense as to why the whole meeting room cafeteria is all in disarray, being in close proximity to the endos a lot of people are believing to be related to Mimic and also the cake eating endo that seems super out of place. It makes a whole lot more sense now that The Mimic has dropped, I think!

Yeah that characterization of Luis isn't exactly the best. Honestly if they were aiming to make him seem creepy then they did a good job, but based on specifics from both Help Wanted and AR Special Delivery I don't think that's what they were aiming for. Like there are three writing directions that could have made Luis work as a character. (That I could readily think of off the top of my head) 1. "As someone who's worked in the Freddy Fazbear Business for a long time, you're giving off a lot of red flags that are extremely disconnected from your previous track record and I need to keep track of you going forward." 2. "Coming from someone who's had younger siblings with really bad past relationships with both partners and parents, this other guy sending you stuff sounds like he's threatening your life and your searches are also worrying me. I've worked with you for years by this point on different projects, and none of this is like you. Don't go feeling like you need to talk to me specifically but you're gonna wanna talk to /someone/ ." 3."I genuinely have feeling for you and I'm glad you've reciprocated but you've been changing a lot into someone I don't even recognize anymore, is everything okay?"
Sorry to unpin you, Churder, but I had to mention this. The Luis wikipedia page has been vandalized again. It says a bunch of stuff that's legit just not in the emails. This has happened before. >.< So if you read that and see how Ness says Luis is funny and how she likes him, nah. She literally says just the line I provided in the video. Misinformation is annoying because it isn't caught as easily as vandalization.
Great video! If they had the cult of Afton thing instead of whatever is going on in SB, I feel Louis could have been a good second in command to Vanny. My theory with the arcade conspiracy is that originally you would have needed to play Princess Quest 1 and 2, then go and glitch Balloon World, Monty Golf and Chica's feeding frenzy, then you could play Princess Quest 3. But since only Balloon World was (mostly) complete in time for release, this was scrapped in favour of just getting the player to play the two PQ games only to unlock PQ3. Monty Golf had that one unfinished level at release (hidden with the other 8 mostly finished levels that eventually made it into the game after an update) which I think could have been the 'glitch' level that wasn't completed in time, and Chica's feeding frenzy has some glitchy effects from what I've seen of the cut mini game.
That would make a lot of since considering that Monty Golf was only half finished- there could've been a whole second half with secret 'glitching' mechanics!
I think “Dave” probably was the one who played and messed with these cabinets. William Afton is well known as a technician and it’s normal for him to do this kind of insanity with children. Afterall, OMC is William Afton as described in “Step Closer” and he invited her over to his “fishing trip”.
Also note that “Dave” has the strength to break aniamtronics apart alive in fnaf3, so it’s simple for him to lift up and arcade cabinet and mess with the endos.
I keep thinking back to Phisnom's Glitchless Streams, and that moment when Pastra finally clocked the bit about finding emails in Duffel bags for how bizarre that was.

One thing I'm happy about with these side stories is that Fazbear Entertainment's mistreatment of staff is still consistent. I always admired how the franchise will bring attention to big corporations' skeevy business practices without being too ham-fisted. It's a good mix of outrageous things like Fazgoo and realistic issues, like getting fired after long hours are clearly taking on a toll your mental health

Honestly security breach was so confusing and not what I expected that I started to write my own rewritten au about it, in it Gregory, Vanessa and Freddy have more prominent/different roles along with others, it also has my own original ideas and characters to go with it, it’s inspired by the games/books as well as similar genres, now before anyone ask sadly no it’s not a comic or anything i just write it for fun, but maybe one day when I learn to draw and edit it may someday be.
The one on Chica's voicebox has me think initially, she sang and Bonnie was on guitar just like old times. As she became a guitarist, he was a bassist. I also question her being yellow at that time, as per The Storyteller.

Well, mobile games have been around for a while. If we're going on Iphone/Ipad based mobile games, I think the earliest ones were somewhere between 2007-2010 maybe? Fnaf 3 is speculated to occur somewhere between 2010 and 2020, if I remember right, with SB being an unknown years out. An 'old' mobile game could realistically be anything more than ten years old. Not really old, but in the mobile space with rapidly changing game trends, it might receive different considerations.

Could set up an interesting ship tease moment. She did say that she liked when Luis wrote to her and thought he was funny, maybe there is something there. Maybe she did read those emails but couldn't reply so when she sees the sender of those emails in person at the plex and possibly her best chance to escape her predicament, the good in her is re-ignited and tries to fight off Vanny causing them to make mistakes while subtly aiding Luis in his quest to survive the night and putting him in the right direction when it comes to the princess quest games. Not to mention it could be a redemption quest for him as well, since he was an unknowing accomplice in all this chaos, him getting to right this wrong along with Vanessa who is also an unwilling accomplice would feel hella satisfying. all that build up in special delivery for it to climax in security breach. Because otherwise she seems to always be a 3 steps ahead when it came to how everything was set up before SB took place ya know? Why would she suddenly become sloppy against one kid like Gregory when she's "possibly" already taken care of multiple kids already? That Savior story.....ya know i'd always kind of thought that maybe Luis was that guy as well....I don't wanna believe it because I don't think he'd give up that easily especially if he made the connection to Vanessa somehow being the princess, and if he did make the connection no way he wouldn't use her name "Ness" in the email instead of "princess", its like his favorite word lol Interesting that these games might have been able to glitch as well to get a secret ending...ah i wonder what that would have done for Vanessa's fate. Really cool I didn't' realize that Greg was supposed to team up with an old security guard at the beginning that's a really cool funfact. Probably would have made the shattered Freddy plot more easy. Really fun video thanks! Can't wait for the Ruin DLC, hope it manages to at least salavage some of the potential this game had ^_^
I think Monty could've used a little more screentime, but definitely the Blob. Its existence is so bizarre to me. Which is a shame, because its concept is very creepy.
The weird thing about the staff room, I counted how many people it could seat in there for my fanfic. I might be off... but I counted approximately 52 tables. 52 x 6 This room can fix approximately 312 employees at least has seating for that many if they have that many or if Vanny did away with them via endos that discretely remains to be determined
With the employee killings, these were all SECURITY GUARDS, having been prepared trained and equipped to deal with intruders and haywire animatronics. If it was an animatronic they would have taken it down, but a horde of endos, they still might have been able to withstand but having one imposter among us would definitely get them all killed by the endo horde and one of their own killing officers while they were taking down animatronics. The guards would have had some sort of weaponry to repel intruders who want to wreck the property value and/or destroy animatronics or steal money, all things detrimental to a business, so they wouldn't be just instantly dead as soon as one animatronic went ham. Also with the amount of stuff and clutter around the pizzaplex they would have definitely have used cover and defensive positions and formations, but having one of your own stab you in the back with whatever weapon they were given would cause chaos and would reduce their defensive positions to anarchy making them easy pickings for Vanny and the Endos. Sorry for the long comment, I really wanted to show a clear image of what I think happened.
That lil rant on Luis was funny no lie. Man seems great.. you just know where his intentions are though. XD idk how may times I heard coffee being mentioned as well haha. But loved how you delved deeper into the mysteries within the pizzplex. It gives me a lot to think about and how differently you can look into them. Also I just noticed this but.. do you have lisp? "I think it's been solved" that the underground cafeteria in the kitchen area is where vanny killed the human staff and then dumped them into the sewers after the massacre. (I use quotes because its implied but never confirmed+ fan theories)
1:00 Looking back with ruin it almost seems like the messages imply the mimic being programmed for "busy work" possibly meaning he was trained for the pizzaplex and then ended up killing everyone at the all staff meeting. No idea how much water this holds just an interesting idea
I feel like the "glitch them all at the same time" bit might be left over from when the game was supposed to take place over five nights, the puzzle of it being that "at the same time" implies "simultaneously," but might actually mean "at the same time each night." Just something I thought of.

im pretty sure this counts as a situationship. i fell in love with my best friends last year (cliche much) and we both wanted to be in a relationship, but due to many other factors like having to keep it hidden from his parents and him moving away (we both didnt want long distance) we just broke it off from there and stayed friends. i genuinely dont know if i still have feelings but i probably do
One thing I couldn't help but notice about the arcade conspiracy line of notes is how more then one of them references the suspect arcades being moved and/or hidden. If you trace back where they'd have had to be before being moved, you get PQ 1 in East Arcade (where was one of the locations Bonnie visited again in the log in the Missing note again?), PQ2 traces to the main arcade section of the Fazcade or West Arcade if you prefer, PQ3 would trace back to the Bonnie Bowl Arcade as that's the closest one (just have to move it down a flight of stairs and through the back door between Bonnie Bowl and the Vanny Room), and Balloon Boy World traces back to the Daycare, and as it just so happens, there's a 4th arcade right in the Daycare, which also connects via a garage door, to Kid's Cove. Pretty close to another location Bonnie visited that night, and for that matter, Chica's Feeding Frenzy, which has no evidence it was ever moved is not too far either, just a short detour down the hall to the Bakery to find that one, and Monty Golf has the mini golf arcade in it. Interesting don't you think, that if you backtrack the likely original (unhidden locations) of the 6 arcades, all but PQ2 and PQ3 are on or near Bonnie's logged route? Even more interesting when you factor in that he supposedly left his room in Rockstar Row at 2-24 AM and arrived at East Arcade at 2-40 AM, fully 2 hours 16 minutes later! An awful long time for Bonnie to spend walking across a building the size of a typical indoor mall, don't you think? Unless he made OTHER stops before going to East Arcade, stops no longer in the log. Doesn't someone rather suspicious have a full Security Manager's clearance to access such logs? Seem to me that is the case.
I now pinned down why I don’t personally don’t like Luis all that much. It feels like he’s making Vanessa into his own “Manic Pixie Dream Girl”. The way he’s focusing on her quirks and seems to want to ‘rescue’ the weird girl for his own sense of fulfillment. Perhaps not accurate considering the rewrites and cuts may have affected that story but it’s the vibe I’m getting here.

I'm surprised that the only seemingly meaningful secret was "Did Vanny kill the Night Staff?" Sorry for sounding like a broken record but, this game needs a srious overhaul.
Hopefully I don't sound too much like a Vanessa simp here, but I think you might be overestimating how much power she has in the company. She seems more like a pawn getting shuffled around to suit Afton's whims than someone who's actually taking action to get things done in the company. (Vanny is different, but she's also not technically their employee.) Also, stuff like getting fired for not changing the urinal cakes or showing up early is probably a reference to the stupid crap that real-world companies do when they're losing money and they want to get rid of their employees without paying severance.
Honestly Vanny killing the entire night staff by luring them to a cake party is pretty on brand. One thing that’s pretty sinister: all the posters in that room feature images of the characters’ open jaws, teeth ready to take a bite out of someone.

TBF to Luis, it has been scientifically proven that the written word is the *worst* method of communication simply by virtue of the fact that tone and inflection is nigh impossibile to convey or detect accurately. So, Luis is probably very earnest, but also awkward af. I absolutely see how he could come off as creepy or having Nice Guy Syndrome(tm) to some folks, but for me, he is one of the few cases in FNAF where I would attribute his behavior to idiocy rather than malice. 💚

I feel like everyone is saying his name incorrectly. The spelling (Luis) implies it is Latin/Spanish in origin, rather than French or English. This means the pronunciation would be "Loo-eece." Were it spelled differently (Louis), that would indicate it is pronounced "Lewis", like you do it here in the video, or even "Loo-ee," were he French, or even Canadian. 😊 Not slagging off on you or anything, Nota, but its something I keep noticing, and I finally had the brain power to remember to mention it today.

Believe it or not, the wiki states (with sources) that Vanessa actually likes Luis and finds him funny. I find that a lot of the creepiness in this video just comes from this gal's interpretation, as well as putting all these messages together. Like, of course it's going to sound creepier than if those were spaced months apart.
He is flirting with a person under his supervision at work, that's already not great even if he thinks she is pretty. He is also reading the card on flowers sent to her by another man and questioning her health instead of asking if she is possibly in danger.

Here’s what I how the game should have gone.
1. Security breach should have come out with 5/6 chapters, with each chapter representing a single night their, the 6th one is a extra night.
2. Vanessa and vanny should have either been separate people, or the same but they aren’t aware of each other, and they should’ve had more screen time with Vanessa being a ally unaware she’s the antagonist and vanny trying to catch us more.
3. Glitchtrap should have been in the game as a final or secret boss battle.
4. The game should of had more weapons and tools to better help you during the night and make your survival more versatile and capable, and their should be a thing wear we can upgrade or buy new items.
5. The pizzaplex should have been darker with only neon lights to add to the fear factor, it should have also revolved more around flashlights and stealth and the security systems.
6. As the nights continue we can choose to either destroy or save the animatronics from the glitchtrap virus and they help us.
7. Their should have been more human characters along with Gregory and vanessa.
8. While playing as Gregory their should have a meter for energy, health and supplies, and we also could play as Vanessa.
9. Their should have been 3 endings a good/true ending where we stop glitchtrap and fix everything, a bad/false ending where we lose and glitchtrap wins, and a secret/mystery ending where we discover a unknown secret.
10. Their should be more animated cutscene, whether their 2d animation or 3d animation.

No he wouldn’t be coming back, basically the pizzaplex is closed for a 5 days and nights and he’s stuck their with everyone else inside.

Luis seems to be similar to Luis from American Psycho, both falling for co workers who happen to be serial killers(while seeing red flags, choosing to ignore them)whom they both admire, even if the admiration they get back is disputable.
And of course the second comment:
The idea of Vanny luring the whole Fazbear staff and attempting to order 66 them all actually would have made a good alternative game story for security breach, especially a more alien isolation time version of it. I would have done it basically like this: Company employee meetup yadah yadah, but no one knows who actually called for it, then when it turns 12 am, the lights go out across the Pizzaplex and the security system traps them in the building. What ensues next are the employees scattering across the Pizzaplex trying to avoid the mechanical monsters hunting them in the dark, as well as Vanny. Eventually the game’s protagonist, one of only a few survivors, manages to defeat Vanny and unmask her, then it turns 6 am and the security systems allow the door to open, I’m not sure how I’d end it but maybe the other survivors, or some of them turn out to be in cahoots with Vanny and just shoot the protag and any others, ending there on a cliffhanger. There’s other details I have in mind but this is long enough already lol.

Honestly I think it would've been cool to make this scenario happen before the events of Security Breach because it adds to the threatening nature of it that not even the adults were able to stop Vanny and the robots. It makes Gregory feel even more small and helpless. After all even if grown adults couldn't stop Vanny what makes a child think he can? It would've been fun to see Gregory witness what became of those employees who died and realize how bleak his situation is. And it would make sense that this is a one night game because obviously more people will arrive in the morning to check what happened and obviously call the authorities.
Most effective horror games with a child as a protagonist take steps to make sure you *feel* that childlike vulnerability. Having an environment where Gregory sees what has become of adults, who children usually rely on, would've added to the fear factor

My question regarding Luis is who's actually ignoring him? The one time they met in person was it Vanny or Vanessa? Vanessa admits to talking with him, finds him nice, maybe funny. Vanny wouldn't have any use for him so i can't see her giving him the time of day, unless it was to determine if he was a threat in his concern.
Vanessa says that "He's nice, I guess" so it could be here. Or maybe it's Vanny. Or maybe Vanny was the one puppeteering Vanessa to approach to learn more about IT so they could use it to then hack the system.

the production rush really cramped this games potential, and I wish steelwool could've gotten away with a delay to fully finish the game. but, we've been given a lot of very interesting puzzle pieces to play with
Steel Wool's issue is that they kept making the pizzaplex bigger and adding more easter eggs instead of focusing on the actual game. The game was ruined by Steel Wool's incompetence more so than by time constraints.

It's honestly sort of true. Apparently Steel Wool says they're happy and proud of how SB turned out and I just cannot imagine how with the writing and design issues the game has even aside from it being notoriously buggy. The game has some cool concepts, but it's just so flawed, regardless of the circumstances that lead there. It's shiny and glossy which makes it stand out more than the others, appearing like a big shiny triple-A game instead of a small and simple indie game, but the overall quality of the final product is just not very good. It's very different from the others for an official FNAF game, being free roam with a huge map, but its objective quality is ultimately not that good given the writing problems as well as overall shallow and incomplete nature of a lot of aspects. Maybe they should've delayed the game for another two years to really let themselves build the best thing they could. I just don't get it, I feel like you have to be downright delusional to be proud of a product that's presented to the rest of the world in this sort of condition. And again, that's completely disregarding the actual bugs and only considered the game's design. Functionality wise SB is as if not more broken than initial release Cyberpunk 2077. And nothing about that is to celebrate. I'd seen people experience even worse bugs than what Markiplier did on his let's play of SB.

I can't help but draw comparisons between SB and Doom 3 in this regard.
Much like Security Breach Doom 3 ALSO let the player acquire logs of the various workers to give them a sense of what it's like to work under such extreme conditions.
The difference? Presentation. Doom 3s overall story and narrative are minimalistic but it works extremely well with how the audio logs and various recordings are used to build upon the Mars base and the mysterious civilization who committed the ultimate sacrifice to stop the Demons from claiming the Earth as theirs once more
Meanwhile Security Breach's story plays like different people wrote different parts of the story and the designers crammed it all together regardless of if the story beats presented contradicted each other or not

Wow, I did NOT realize Luis's emails were that creepy. The first couple I thought "Eh, he's a bit bold and abrasive but he seems to have good intentions" but then you k e p t g o i n g.
I had no idea there were so many Luis emails and my GOSH.
When I first saw them a while back, I saw Luis as a guy trying to break Vanessa's walls through stubbornness and positive messages. Vanessa's character is incredibly cold and mean in Security Breach, so I thought Luis was a sort of counter to that. Like the typical, "Closed off, rude character gets befriended by the upbeat, positive character through sheer force of will" kinda deal if that makes sense. Like Bakugo and Kirishima from My Hero Academia, if you know them.
I saw Luis as a guy with an obvious crush and admiration, sure, but all his messages read to me as someone who wanted to get to know someone better but had a hard time connecting to them because of their closed-off personality. A guy with good intentions, but came across poorly.
Obviously, this is CLEARLY not ok IRL, but that's just how I saw it from a fictional standpoint.
But no, those emails are WEIRD. Looking back on them now, as opposed to back then, I have a lot more context to know that Luis is fricken WEIRD, man.
IDK, I kinda liked it when I thought Luis was a guy who wanted to get to know Ness, try and break down her fortified walls, only to slowly fall into a rabbit hole and get roped into the entire Glitchtrap ordeal. It kinda makes Luis a more tragic character, an innocent guy with good intentions who just wanted to help Vanessa out and get to know her, only to unknowingly rope himself into a horrible conspiracy and maybe even get targeted by Glitchtrap.
But yeah, Luis is kinda just gross now. Now I don't really care about him or what happens to him and I feel sorta bummed about that. Comparing the Luis in my head, a guy with a crush on his coworker and who tries to get to know her but stumbles upon something he shouldn't have, to the actual Luis, who's a full-on stalker who might've gotten what he deserved for snooping around, I can see a clear difference in how much I cared about him before and afterward.
Yeah, I had the same feeling. At first he was just like an interested guy who knew what he was getting into, but it definitely started to get weirder once I reread the emails. XD

I enjoyed this. I’ve heard arguments that the mimic killed the staff.
I am starting to lean to the midnight staff meeting literally being a massacre set up by Mimic. We see in the Storyteller how it has control as a program, so maybe it being in control of programming somehow managed to round up the staff via emails? If not the AI, then Vanny. I know in the epilogues we see Mimic dismembering people which would make sense as to why the whole meeting room cafeteria is all in disarray, being in close proximity to the endos a lot of people are believing to be related to Mimic and also the cake eating endo that seems super out of place. It makes a whole lot more sense now that The Mimic has dropped, I think!

Yeah that characterization of Luis isn't exactly the best. Honestly if they were aiming to make him seem creepy then they did a good job, but based on specifics from both Help Wanted and AR Special Delivery I don't think that's what they were aiming for. Like there are three writing directions that could have made Luis work as a character. (That I could readily think of off the top of my head)
1. "As someone who's worked in the Freddy Fazbear Business for a long time, you're giving off a lot of red flags that are extremely disconnected from your previous track record and I need to keep track of you going forward."
2. "Coming from someone who's had younger siblings with really bad past relationships with both partners and parents, this other guy sending you stuff sounds like he's threatening your life and your searches are also worrying me. I've worked with you for years by this point on different projects, and none of this is like you. Don't go feeling like you need to talk to me specifically but you're gonna wanna talk to /someone/ ."
3."I genuinely have feeling for you and I'm glad you've reciprocated but you've been changing a lot into someone I don't even recognize anymore, is everything okay?"
I agree! Those would've all been better directions. Less intrusive and more natural.

Great video! If they had the cult of Afton thing instead of whatever is going on in SB, I feel Louis could have been a good second in command to Vanny.
My theory with the arcade conspiracy is that originally you would have needed to play Princess Quest 1 and 2, then go and glitch Balloon World, Monty Golf and Chica's feeding frenzy, then you could play Princess Quest 3. But since only Balloon World was (mostly) complete in time for release, this was scrapped in favour of just getting the player to play the two PQ games only to unlock PQ3.
Monty Golf had that one unfinished level at release (hidden with the other 8 mostly finished levels that eventually made it into the game after an update) which I think could have been the 'glitch' level that wasn't completed in time, and Chica's feeding frenzy has some glitchy effects from what I've seen of the cut mini game.
That would make a lot of since considering that Monty Golf was only half finished- there could've been a whole second half with secret 'glitching' mechanics!
I think “Dave” probably was the one who played and messed with these cabinets. William Afton is well known as a technician and it’s normal for him to do this kind of insanity with children. Afterall, OMC is William Afton as described in “Step Closer” and he invited her over to his “fishing trip”.
Also note that “Dave” has the strength to break aniamtronics apart alive in fnaf3, so it’s simple for him to lift up and arcade cabinet and mess with the endos.
I keep thinking back to Phisnom's Glitchless Streams, and that moment when Pastra finally clocked the bit about finding emails in Duffel bags for how bizarre that was.

One thing I'm happy about with these side stories is that Fazbear Entertainment's mistreatment of staff is still consistent. I always admired how the franchise will bring attention to big corporations' skeevy business practices without being too ham-fisted. It's a good mix of outrageous things like Fazgoo and realistic issues, like getting fired after long hours are clearly taking on a toll your mental health

Honestly security breach was so confusing and not what I expected that I started to write my own rewritten au about it, in it Gregory, Vanessa and Freddy have more prominent/different roles along with others, it also has my own original ideas and characters to go with it, it’s inspired by the games/books as well as similar genres, now before anyone ask sadly no it’s not a comic or anything i just write it for fun, but maybe one day when I learn to draw and edit it may someday be.

Well, mobile games have been around for a while. If we're going on Iphone/Ipad based mobile games, I think the earliest ones were somewhere between 2007-2010 maybe? Fnaf 3 is speculated to occur somewhere between 2010 and 2020, if I remember right, with SB being an unknown years out.
An 'old' mobile game could realistically be anything more than ten years old. Not really old, but in the mobile space with rapidly changing game trends, it might receive different considerations.

Maybe she did read those emails but couldn't reply so when she sees the sender of those emails in person at the plex and possibly her best chance to escape her predicament, the good in her is re-ignited and tries to fight off Vanny causing them to make mistakes while subtly aiding Luis in his quest to survive the night and putting him in the right direction when it comes to the princess quest games.
Not to mention it could be a redemption quest for him as well, since he was an unknowing accomplice in all this chaos, him getting to right this wrong along with Vanessa who is also an unwilling accomplice would feel hella satisfying. all that build up in special delivery for it to climax in security breach.
Because otherwise she seems to always be a 3 steps ahead when it came to how everything was set up before SB took place ya know? Why would she suddenly become sloppy against one kid like Gregory when she's "possibly" already taken care of multiple kids already?
That Savior story.....ya know i'd always kind of thought that maybe Luis was that guy as well....I don't wanna believe it because I don't think he'd give up that easily especially if he made the connection to Vanessa somehow being the princess, and if he did make the connection no way he wouldn't use her name "Ness" in the email instead of "princess", its like his favorite word lol Interesting that these games might have been able to glitch as well to get a secret ending...ah i wonder what that would have done for Vanessa's fate.
Really cool I didn't' realize that Greg was supposed to team up with an old security guard at the beginning that's a really cool funfact. Probably would have made the shattered Freddy plot more easy.

I think Monty could've used a little more screentime, but definitely the Blob. Its existence is so bizarre to me. Which is a shame, because its concept is very creepy.

With the employee killings, these were all SECURITY GUARDS, having been prepared trained and equipped to deal with intruders and haywire animatronics. If it was an animatronic they would have taken it down, but a horde of endos, they still might have been able to withstand but having one imposter among us would definitely get them all killed by the endo horde and one of their own killing officers while they were taking down animatronics. The guards would have had some sort of weaponry to repel intruders who want to wreck the property value and/or destroy animatronics or steal money, all things detrimental to a business, so they wouldn't be just instantly dead as soon as one animatronic went ham. Also with the amount of stuff and clutter around the pizzaplex they would have definitely have used cover and defensive positions and formations, but having one of your own stab you in the back with whatever weapon they were given would cause chaos and would reduce their defensive positions to anarchy making them easy pickings for Vanny and the Endos. Sorry for the long comment, I really wanted to show a clear image of what I think happened.

I feel like the "glitch them all at the same time" bit might be left over from when the game was supposed to take place over five nights, the puzzle of it being that "at the same time" implies "simultaneously," but might actually mean "at the same time each night." Just something I thought of.

I assumed the "creepy bot" was referring to a glamrock endo, as those are certainly creepy, but also appear to be capable of being "taught" behaviors by humans

im pretty sure this counts as a situationship. i fell in love with my best friends last year (cliche much) and we both wanted to be in a relationship, but due to many other factors like having to keep it hidden from his parents and him moving away (we both didnt want long distance) we just broke it off from there and stayed friends.

One thing I couldn't help but notice about the arcade conspiracy line of notes is how more then one of them references the suspect arcades being moved and/or hidden. If you trace back where they'd have had to be before being moved, you get PQ 1 in East Arcade (where was one of the locations Bonnie visited again in the log in the Missing note again?), PQ2 traces to the main arcade section of the Fazcade or West Arcade if you prefer, PQ3 would trace back to the Bonnie Bowl Arcade as that's the closest one (just have to move it down a flight of stairs and through the back door between Bonnie Bowl and the Vanny Room), and Balloon Boy World traces back to the Daycare, and as it just so happens, there's a 4th arcade right in the Daycare, which also connects via a garage door, to Kid's Cove. Pretty close to another location Bonnie visited that night, and for that matter, Chica's Feeding Frenzy, which has no evidence it was ever moved is not too far either, just a short detour down the hall to the Bakery to find that one, and Monty Golf has the mini golf arcade in it. Interesting don't you think, that if you backtrack the likely original (unhidden locations) of the 6 arcades, all but PQ2 and PQ3 are on or near Bonnie's logged route? Even more interesting when you factor in that he supposedly left his room in Rockstar Row at 2-24 AM and arrived at East Arcade at 2-40 AM, fully 2 hours 16 minutes later! An awful long time for Bonnie to spend walking across a building the size of a typical indoor mall, don't you think? Unless he made OTHER stops before going to East Arcade, stops no longer in the log. Doesn't someone rather suspicious have a full Security Manager's clearance to access such logs? Seem to me that is the case.

I now pinned down why I don’t personally don’t like Luis all that much. It feels like he’s making Vanessa into his own “Manic Pixie Dream Girl”. The way he’s focusing on her quirks and seems to want to ‘rescue’ the weird girl for his own sense of fulfillment. Perhaps not accurate considering the rewrites and cuts may have affected that story but it’s the vibe I’m getting here.

Hopefully I don't sound too much like a Vanessa simp here, but I think you might be overestimating how much power she has in the company. She seems more like a pawn getting shuffled around to suit Afton's whims than someone who's actually taking action to get things done in the company. (Vanny is different, but she's also not technically their employee.) Also, stuff like getting fired for not changing the urinal cakes or showing up early is probably a reference to the stupid crap that real-world companies do when they're losing money and they want to get rid of their employees without paying severance.
It's admittedly hard to tell how much is Vanny, how much is Fazbear Entertainment being stupidly evil, and how much is Burntrap.
