First combination is one of my favourite. When I step back, many times opponents go forward and its easy to catch them
nice one mate, yeah amateur boxing 101
Great stuff again, Glenn! My favorite punch…left hook to the body/liver! Good explanation on how to set it up with uppercuts! 🥊🥊

@@GlennHolmesLA yes definitely, looks pretty damn good! 😏
@@GlennHolmesLA would love it if you and Tony would ever be visiting Belgium. We've still got lots to learn over here. 😉 💪
Combo 1 is best!
Straight shots always get to the target faster and distance gives less risk of being countered switching from body to head brings down your opponent’s hands for the head shots to land clean 💪🏼 typical Manchester combo you will see most Manchester fighters throw this combo
bang on mate, thx for watching & commenting, got a 10 KO combos vid coming
Nice combos👊
thank you mate
@@GlennHolmesLA just did a short on combo #1 😁
I really don’t like the second combo. Trying to close the distance with a hook is a great way to get countered by a decent fighter. I would really only recommend this in one of two scenarios. First, if you’ve seen the experience level and power of your opponent and don’t respect either too much. Second, if you’re not really having to close distance with the hook and are just using it to distract while you’re already in range. Doing lunging motions to close distance is where you often see someone get knocked out face first from a collision shot.
totally, the key to the way Froch set it up was with the feint to create the initial defensive reaction and to use a throw away hook to simply create the force and momentum for the cross , notice how Groves did try to time him with the counter hook but was beaten to the punch, Froch just committed and it paid off
@@GlennHolmesLA definitely a high risk, high reward move. Great video and break downs by the way!
@@lukewolfe3951 cheers Luke mate, appreciate the comments
Exactly my point. Should've read this far before commenting myself.

I like, how you cover three distances in the combos. I don't like the second combo. In the clip, the "victim" is with the back to the ropes and prepairs his own counterhook. The combo uses that and steps away from his hook. This "racing his lead hook with your back hand hook" needs to be acounted for in the footwork at the mitts - to me.
thanks mate, thanks for the feedback
