Hi guys, I hope there are some new information about agates and locations ☺️
What do you think about my little agate quiz (min. 16:18) ? Do you have some ideas?

I enjoy a quiz and will give this a stab: 1) Swazi Mozambique, 2) Ngabu Malawi, 3) Laguna Mexico, 4) Tizirine Morocco. 🤔

Germany’s Agate King!…Congratulations, well done! My Favourite would have to be the Botswana with the multiple flows. Quite Unique. We have agates from British Columbia that resemble the Botswana ones, with parallax effects but none with any bright colours. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with the “Rock-Hound” community!

Great info! Liked that you pointed out that coral and pet wood could be agatized to showing thundereggs....some people wouldn't know this at all! Great job Mr Agate King 🤴

Thank you very much for your nice feedback! ☺️ I was just in Billings 4 month ago, to visit Alex (agateangler) as I was passing through Montana to head up to Glacier for some climbing. I think chances are high that you know him. 😄

@@joshuaritter-agatebay just missed you! Next time…. Actually, Alex and I haven’t had our paths cross yet. I believe he’s the only local UA-camr that I haven’t met and done some rockhounding with. I’m heading to our place in Quartzsite in a week. I have a couple of very good friends in Arizona with a UA-cam channel (AZ Rockhound Expeditions) that I’m planning to do more videos with.

I like the Chinese round Agata. Really perfect. You can never get a complete collection, there are so many and every one is different 😢It costs a lot of money, but they are beautiful ❤

Hey man, great video as always. I was a bit distracted while i was watching this so I may have missed it, but why didn't you touch on sedimentary agates, like Fairburns, etc.? And are sedimentary agates even true agates, or like a pseudo-agate?

am so happy you mentioned Germany..I have been trying for weeks to find if Germany has any agates and where they have..my wife and I will be spending about 3 weeks in Austria and Germany and was hoping to do some rockhounding but finding any information about rocks in Germany is difficult..mostly you see is about Idar-Oberstein only..perhaps you can tell me where else might be a good area to find agates? We will be in Idar of course and Black Forest area but renting a car so can do some day trips..was hoping to go look for Hauyne but yeah I know that is near impossible to find

I live about an hour drive from the Fairburn agate bed and have always wanted to go find some. What should I be looking for? You should just come and hunt with me.

Why coast so much? Creations Made not by anyone, only harvested and then cut open by humans.
