This case is crazy because I think it’s obvious who was the instigator of this murder ! Kelly was caught on camera buying the lighting fluid ! She used a stun gun on the victim ! Yet she’s out in 9 years ! I don’t get it ! They both should have gotten life !

A month ago, in Bosnia, a bodybuilder killed his unwed wife and livestreamed her murder on his Instagram, having support from his deranged followers. After killing her, he went on a rampage and killed two more (son and father with whom he had dispute) with an intention to kill as many as possible, before ultimately killing himself. His unwed wife, together with their baby, was hiding from him after reporting his death threats to the police and when they did nothing, they didn't issue a restraining order nor offer her protection, she went into hiding, to her aunt. He found her, beat her severely and disfigured and killed her with a gunshot. Her last words were to her aunt: "Auntie, help." Rumors had it that he, despite hating the police, was in a relationship with a police woman who allegedly tipped him her address because he wouldn't have known where she was hiding otherwise. I remember this story. There was reason to believe that Craig Titus had been very abusive toward Kelly Ryan and that she wasn't in control of her faculties the day this happened, which is why she probably got leniency. If Kelly Ryan had left that loser, all of this would have been avoided, but abuse victims usually cannot see straight.
How could the couple believe it was a good idea to set fire to the victim in the trunk of their own car? They might as well have left their ID cards on the scene. It seems very unfair that Kelly is free after only nine years. Every murder is a horrible crime, but this one seems particularly pointless since Melissa was no threat to the couple. Even if jealousy was the motivating factor, Melissa was about to leave the next day. 😥
Especially since their cover story was that she overdosed in the car, but they put her body in the trunk. Obviously didn't develop their brains the way they did their muscles.

I don't understand how Kelly is out after 9 years! She is a murderer and was the reason Melissa was killed! She should never be allowed out again. Poor Melissa. Why is it always the smart, beautiful, and kind people that are murdered.
Graig tried to kill people from behind bars, so I would think that would net him a longer sentence than what Kelly got. Craig was shady to start with, and I think Kelly may have been a victim of his roid rage before Melissa even came into the picture.

I met Craig years before he did this. I was just a teen. I am 30 now. He signed a dumbbell I had, and did a bicep pose with me. He was a truly nice dude to me..drugs turned him into a devil, mixed with roids....forget it. Perfect storm

How Kelly is walking free is beyond me. This whole case starts with a violent act started by a jealous Kelly. Craig is responsible for creating the scenario by letting his mistress into the house but Kelly was no innocent bystander or an accessory. If anything I believe it was Kelly who suggested killing her, to save the marriage. She should have got the same time as Craig. Shame, as I remember these guys from when I was a gym freak back in the 90s.
🌟Why did Craig a much harsher sentence?!! You said they were equal partners in the murder, but Kelly was actually the one who started the assault. If it wasn't for her, Melissa might still be alive. That seems incredibly unfair.

Their bonds were set at amounts that were 54 percent lower than what men were required to pay. 58 percent less likely to be sentenced to prison, etc.

Craig most likely had more time added to his sentence due to him attempting to put a hit out on three people and the police finding out about it. That's probably why he was in prison much longer than his ex-wife. BUT.... In my humble opinion, they shouldn't ever be paroled or released from prison at all because they literally murdered someone! Why should they get to pick up and continue on with their lives when they stole that privilege from someone else(and in a horrificly brutal and unnecessarily violent way)?!?

I was a fitness blogger at the height of Kelly Ryan’s career and I still have a workout video that features her as one of the lead instructor’s side trainers! So I was horrified years later when this case hit the news. She and her husband were literal rock stars in the fitness world. It’s sickening what they did. That poor woman they killed. I agree - Kelly should still be behind bars and I have a suspicion that she is the one primarily responsible for Melissa’s murder.

A local man in NC was murdered by his bodybuilding wife who thought killing him was better than divorce. A friend of mine competed against her and was shocked to learn about the incident. Wife and I bought an appliance sold in the estate sale from a buyer.
I remember this case. Not a bodybuilder, just a true crime enthusiast. I do not feel they got the sentances they deserved and the fact that she is out already is frustrating, considering she instigated the crime.
Cases like this is exactly why people would run from my grandma. She'd loud evil doers out, in public. Should they be so brave as to show themselves. She cleared out one third attending the auction, at the auction house before we'd made the threshold. They were scurrying out the side door. Granny called it her power. We all have that power, to make evil doers run away and not show themselves in public. She had the dirt on everybody in town. Her husband was a corrections officer at state pen.

While Kellys sentence does seem to light, she likely got out for good behavior (which I don't agree with) But you can't say Craig solicited a hit out on 3 people that testified against him and then follow that up with, "Why is his sentence so much more harsher than hers" They likely hit him with those 3 counts or at least they were marks against him because that's not good behavior.

I remember this story. There was reason to believe that Craig Titus had been very abusive toward Kelly Ryan and that she wasn't in control of her faculties the day this happened, which is why she probably got leniency. If Kelly Ryan had left that loser, all of this would have been avoided, but abuse victims usually cannot see straight.
I’ve seen documentaries about this case . I wish the girl had left in secret , without telling the couple and had caught her flight back to her mum’s.

How could the couple believe it was a good idea to set fire to the victim in the trunk of their own car? They might as well have left their ID cards on the scene. It seems very unfair that Kelly is free after only nine years. Every murder is a horrible crime, but this one seems particularly pointless since Melissa was no threat to the couple. Even if jealousy was the motivating factor, Melissa was about to leave the next day. 😥

I don't understand how Kelly is out after 9 years! She is a murderer and was the reason Melissa was killed! She should never be allowed out again. Poor Melissa. Why is it always the smart, beautiful, and kind people that are murdered.

Graig tried to kill people from behind bars, so I would think that would net him a longer sentence than what Kelly got. Craig was shady to start with, and I think Kelly may have been a victim of his roid rage before Melissa even came into the picture.

I met Craig years before he did this. I was just a teen. I am 30 now. He signed a dumbbell I had, and did a bicep pose with me. He was a truly nice dude to me..drugs turned him into a devil, mixed with roids....forget it. Perfect storm

How Kelly is walking free is beyond me. This whole case starts with a violent act started by a jealous Kelly. Craig is responsible for creating the scenario by letting his mistress into the house but Kelly was no innocent bystander or an accessory. If anything I believe it was Kelly who suggested killing her, to save the marriage.
She should have got the same time as Craig.

It used to be called the "chivalry effect" not sure what it is called now, but psychologically women are given lesser sentences or have their crimes justified across the board, by an astounding amount. A 2015 study showed women were 46 percent less likely than men to held in jail prior to a trial. Their bonds were set at amounts that were 54 percent lower than what men were required to pay. 58 percent less likely to be sentenced to prison, etc.

Craig most likely had more time added to his sentence due to him attempting to put a hit out on three people and the police finding out about it. That's probably why he was in prison much longer than his ex-wife.
BUT....
In my humble opinion, they shouldn't ever be paroled or released from prison at all because they literally murdered someone! Why should they get to pick up and continue on with their lives when they stole that privilege from someone else(and in a horrificly brutal and unnecessarily violent way)?!?

I was a fitness blogger at the height of Kelly Ryan’s career and I still have a workout video that features her as one of the lead instructor’s side trainers! So I was horrified years later when this case hit the news. She and her husband were literal rock stars in the fitness world. It’s sickening what they did. That poor woman they killed. I agree - Kelly should still be behind bars and I have a suspicion that she is the one primarily responsible for Melissa’s murder.

A local man in NC was murdered by his bodybuilding wife who thought killing him was better than divorce. A friend of mine competed against her and was shocked to learn about the incident. Wife and I bought an appliance sold in the estate sale from a buyer.

I remember this case. Not a bodybuilder, just a true crime enthusiast. I do not feel they got the sentances they deserved and the fact that she is out already is frustrating, considering she instigated the crime.
Cases like this is exactly why people would run from my grandma. She'd loud evil doers out, in public. Should they be so brave as to show themselves.
She cleared out one third attending the auction, at the auction house before we'd made the threshold. They were scurrying out the side door. Granny called it her power. We all have that power, to make evil doers run away and not show themselves in public.
She had the dirt on everybody in town. Her husband was a corrections officer at state pen.

And if he WAS brought up conspiracy to commit murder X 3 this was simply brushed over by Adrian saying “This scheme was thwarted by police and in the end, no one was harmed”

You pay attention to all details concerning the case, investigation and all related parties, also putting enough time in introducing the related background information such as location and time frame etc which a lot of other true crime content creators fail to do. While Kellys sentence does seem to light, she likely got out for good behavior (which I don't agree with) But you can't say Craig solicited a hit out on 3 people that testified against him and then follow that up with, "Why is his sentence so much more harsher than hers" They likely hit him with those 3 counts or at least they were marks against him because that's not good behavior.
Out on parole after 9 years after you initiated murder and mutilated the body is insane, stop with the excuses
