Dave's solo on this one is my favorite. What do you think? This is a remake of my first tutorial. This song deserved a better video, so here it is. In bar 120, I show what Adrian plays, which most people miss. Dave plays an octave lower on the 5th string: frets 6-4-0-8-6-0-10-8-0-12-10-0. Steve plays only the top note that Dave plays, while pedaling with the open A string. That's the key. I've also added some details to the rest of the TAB that were missing. Hope you enjoy figuring them out! Until next time! 🤘🙂🤘
The whole song is a masterpiece. Really well-done. . A lot better then the stuff now.. now I think they try to push all aspects and limits of song writing and music way past the limits and try to out due anything in the past. This is such a nice touch of modern, commercial and complex. Great album.
Hey Dude Awesome, great work on this tutorial! I've listened to the isolated guitar track (and the original studio version too) even with slower tempo (x0,5 and x0,25) a couple of times and I got something like this on the G-string: 8-10-0-10-12-0-12-8-0-15-12 I tried to play along with my guitar and it was right. But with normal tempo I hear it different, something like you play it in this video. Also your version feels better and more natural too. On the internet there are few different TABs of this bridge, I don't know which is the best. It's really confusing! :D It is one of my absolute favourite song and I know that this is nerdy but I would really like to know how to play it exactly like Maiden (especially this cool bridge in bar 120) but I'm not sure that your TAB is 100% right. How did you catch that in bar 120? And what do you think? The isolated track hasn't got the best quality but it's ok, here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/53jkuR_cG9I/v-deo.htmlsi=dqcUHPviVyKJIey7 Thanks
@@TMilan97 Hi! I am 100% sure. This video presents what everyone has missed, and that's Adrians harmony. The reason nobody can deliver it right, is because they play three different things, that give the overall result you hear. Search for the isolated bass track and hear what Steve is playing: 6-0-0-8-0-0-10-0-0-12-0-0 on the A string. Dave plays something similar 6-4-0-8-6-0-10-8-0-12-10-0, accenting the top notes and pulling off the others. Adrian plays what I show here on the G string. If you put all these together, you have the result! 😀 Maybe I will do a seperate video for this bar, it will be fun. 🤘🤘🤘
@@songtutorialYeah I've listened to the bass track and the isolated guitar tracks since The guitars are really noisy and for me difficult to hear the notes exactly (maybe because of the synths) but you're right! I would love to watch a video about this bridge and your comments on how they're playing it live (I wasn't able to catch that also on concert videos, the drums was so loud during that part and the camera never showed what they play) Have a nice day
Thank you! This is a '93 Ibanez S540 guitar. It's equipped with a QM1 on the bridge, a QM2 on the neck, and a QMS1 in the middle. These are some of the best Ibanez pickups you can find. I really can’t describe the feel of the neck QM2 pickup - you need to play it to truly understand... For amp modeling I use the BIAS FX2 suite.
