❤ the video, I have been looking for a long time to install this radio I have a Krando (for Stelvio) in storage for more than 1 year, when I asked the seller on Aliexpress what the Chinese translations were on the cables (Due to the lack of installation instructions and translation on different wires.) . Then I received a different "translation" 3 times and feared damage to the ECU unit. So I never installed it. So my next step was to find someone to do it for me. When I looked around here in Belgium for a professional installer, no one wanted to install it. Did you also need the loose wires to get power to the radio? Or just the cable bundle?
My dear Alfistis from Modded Motors You have once again done an excellent job with this conversion. Unfortunately, this car tablet seems to be the only 10.25" alternative on the market. Unfortunately it's unsuitable for the Giulia because it's slanted and offseted, but it's a very good choice for the Stelvio. Have fun with it and thanks for the contribution.
Yess definitely family with driver centric cockpits! Seems like that’s what they could be going for, I think they might have ran out of space towards the bottom lol
Sorry! Should’ve clarified, yes I did! Everything works as it should. Also you can still access the OEM style; just as normal with maintenance and everything.
@@ModdedMotors I know you mentioned in the video to search for it, and to DM you for specific, I looked everywhere and can't find how to DM, perhaps I need to do it from the desktop version of UA-cam
Love your content! You guys are a great couple! Quick question……At the end of all your videos, the song that is played where a lady with a high pitched voice sings, who is the artist and name of the song? I have a 2020 Stelvio that I bought with only 8,500 miles on it! I live in Frisco, TX and also wanted to know if there were any Alfa Romeo clubs in the Dallas area that meet up?? Thanks in advance!! 😊
Appreciate the kind words! The song is by Joakim Karud called Rock Angel. If you’re following us on FB or IG we post all the meets we go to. We also post in the Texas Facebook group! Appreciate the support!
Love this channel! And this video really helped because I’m deciding on getting that same unit put the Stelvio. Can you do a video on installing the 2024 digital gauge cluster into the gulia ? That’s another mod I see people discussing all of the time and the logistics of it.
Love the image clarity when you put the car in reverse!! That's my biggest issue. It's so dark! With this screen would you say the issue isn't with the reverse camera? Just the screen? Exciting if so. I have 2021 Stelvio.
Great video but there as to be a better headunit available, I'll be interested to see if it possible to have all audio come from the headset for aftermarket audio setup.
So turn the car into accessory mode pump gas five times and hold it then turn off accessory mode remove foot from gas pedal while car is completely off I usually have to open to door when cutting off the car start it up and your oil light will reset 🤞🏾
Hello, I am French and I also own a Giulia. I have been following you almost from the start. I have made many modifications just like you (sometimes before or after you), and it's funny because I bought exactly the same car stereo as you, and I couldn't manage to install it. I also have an audio problem and the return to the original view doesn't work well (the display glitches), but most importantly, I hear that the unit under the steering wheel never turns off (I can hear the fans spinning even 2 hours after turning off the car). I'm not asking for support, but do you have any quick suggestions I could try? Because I didn't understand the part about the AUX, what impact could that have?
Appreciate the support! So we needed to turn the aux on , on the main information (the OEM) one. So the audio came over correctly. The etm sometimes does run for extended putter but not sure 24 hours sounds normal.
Love your Channel from Italy with my stelvio my20 2.2 160 cv! honestly i don't like that kind of chinese infotainments on a car, my2020 looks already ok. the hd visual for the camera is interesting tho, would be nice to find a way to mod it on original infotainment
@@ModdedMotors no prob! Thanks if you guys discover a solution don’t forget about me haha ! Dying to replace the screen and dealership prices are out of control 🤦🏻♂️
Hi! Thanks for the video which saved some hassle as not only second hand units but also the one has been ordered from the manufacturer came without any instruction. No wiring diagram nothing so extra wires remained unused in my setup as well. They just sent me a scrappy 18 pic "installation manual" on request with stamp sized pics and Chinese titles. :( If someone find a way to replace that copyright avoiding logo with a proper one don't keep it low! FYI My setup fits on the right side as well, but wasn't an easy task to align.
@ModdedMotors pretty positive. Double checked all plugs afterwards and resat everything too. Put it on the charger. So we'll see if that helps. If not, I'll be unplugging the battery for about an hour to reset everything.
I was super hyped for this but id end up breaking my whole interior trying to do this 😂
lol 😂 if you need help I got you covered 🤝
Aww. It's too bad. That edge sticks out a bit. But the tilted screen just looks horrible in my opinion. Thanks for showing us. Truly appreciate it.
I mean it’s not too bad, but aye, atleast Giulia looks like GTAm!🔥
Keep up moddedMotors! 🔥🔥
No worries at all, I know it might not be for everyone.
Appreciate you 🙌🏽
This has to be a popular video. Thanks for the work, again!
It’s sure looking like it is! A lot of people asked for a touch screen.
Excellent video. At first I was like, I could do that. The longer the video went on, I was like, ummmmm.....I might have to pay a mofo to that for me.
Lmfao 🤣 yea it can be a little scary, honestly if you take your time not so bad. ETM removal was the hardest part.

Happy to give some options! The slant isn’t so bad, but I can understand people’s perspective.
That tilted angle is a deal breaker for me
I hear you, not for everyone
Thanks for this great video, how does the system work? How are the experiences? Would you install it again? Thank you and greetings from Germany
So far my experience has been great, I’d 100% order it again
It's angled for the driver. A lot of supercars do that so lol Looks nice.

did you test the DNA as well, did that work? also car info, tire pressure, that screen is definitely a nice upgrade.

Just wondering for the GPS couldn't you have used the factory GPS antenna by getting a fakra to GPS connect adapter so save running it?
Awesomeness!!! I’ve been waiting for a console exchange. I was wondering if yall was going to use oem but this is a great alternative
We definitely might still do the 2020+ just to see how it does lol we wanted to try this because so many people asked about it
Keep up the good work guys!
Appreciate you! We’re definitely trying!
Craftsmanship at its finest
Thank you 🙏🏽
Very nice, altough i'm also curious if there is more to adjust in screen settings and background. The improvement of the rear camera is a nice plus.
I’m sure there’s a ton of features to review, I just kind of did a high level overview.

is there a bigger after market touch screen infotainment system for this car, 12 inches perhaps?
I honestly think we were lucky with 10.25” , 12” might be hard to find

I promise a ton is coming for the Stelvio!
What did you have to do to get the sound working? I have tried everything and I’m pulling my hair out
Go into the OEM menu setting, go into audio, source is aux, and it should start to work
I appreciate you going through the pain without instructions so that our lives are easier 🙏🏾 looking forward to more content

Interesting 🤔 the display is cool but the logo is funny 😂 “ALF•RMO”
Lmfao desperately trying to change it
Just did this, however now my screen is black? Even when I revert back to the oem without the harness. Any ideas?
Did you push menu and volume?
I did, and still nothing. Let the car sit for 20ish minutes after installation too.

Does it still have the car info such as current engine oil ? Is it fully compatible with 2018 stelvio?
