Does the AutoFlash Module remove the top speed restriction? (the Giulia is limited to 150 mph, it's capable - stock - of achieving at least 160-165 mph)
Its supposed to do that. If you go to the track, you want to hang the RPM while going around a corner rather than up shifting, then having to down shift again mid corner or on exit (usually too late).
@@devinj4221 it's a good feature on the track but there's no argument that on the street it's bad for acceleration times, you need to bang into the next gear asap. ofc, one could always just hit the shift paddle...
Eurocompulsion will definitely provide more performance as it remaps the ECU for additional power and torque, where as this tune from madness mostly effects the gearbox responsiveness and the throttle tip in
The other version in more impactful as it actually will effect hp outputs and will rework the ECU more than this one does, so that will be more of your classic tune, where this is just a kind of OEM+ add on
After the initial installation does it stay fixed? Or do I occasionally have to perform an installation once more and another question if I want to uninstall how do I do that?
It stays fixed the whole time unless you go through the OBDII port and remove the tune yourself, or go to a dealership where they might flash it off the car as well.
i have a stelvio veloce that is quick and has been awesome to own the past 2 years but its about 30 horse short in my opinion . does this make up for that? and is it worth the 500?
Unfortunately this does not add any hp, however in terms of making the car feel quicker and more aggressive, i definitely think it’s worth it. It’s going to make the gear box and throttle response that much better and quicker so the car will feel faster, but if you really want to add horsepower than I would go for a different tune
Right? I don't understand how it can 'feel' quicker if it isn't quicker. Maybe it is giving you speed in some areas while taking away in others to make it a zero-sum game? Maybe it just sounds different and giving you the placebo effect. I'm just not understanding this.
Just because no horsepower is added, doesn’t mean the car isn’t quicker. By increasing the delivery rate of the low end torque and increasing shift speeds, the car will react faster and things like the throttle response and gearbox response will be more instantaneous and aggressive. So while this does not remap the ECU to create more HP, it does make the car quicker overall from a launch/ rolling start.
It is also not a placebo, while it doesn’t make the biggest difference in the world, it did make the car slightly faster from a 0-60, based on my testing before and after the tune. There’s nothing to lose with this tune, only something to gain.
What on earth are you even talking about. What ever restriction cars have its because of the Government and emissions. This is why almost every car can be tune to their true existence. Alfa is already amazing with the restrictions but tuned with their partner at squadra and its even more amazing. Smh I cant with people..
I got this same tune one month ago, it’s wonderful when shifting down the gears, it gives you a faster response!
You just buy it yourself
Great explanation, Madness is top notch, great people. Keep up the good work.
Very nice ,love the car.
I've been thinking of getting one and this confirms it
Do you have to remove the tune for service?
No! That’s a nice perk about this is it isn’t dealer traceable so no need to be concerned about servicing the car!
Can I use a tuning chip while I already install the program from the auto flash?
Yes! The auto flash is a piggy back system so it can be combined with other tunes
Great review! Do you have stock or aftermarket exhaust?
Yes the car had an AFE muffler delete kit

I’m not entirely sure, but I believe it does, don’t quote me on that lol
The linger at higher Rpms when taking the foot off the accelerator always got to me.
Elaborate ??
Because its a track car. Sorry its not a BMW or Mercedes lol. Im a racer so i love car just about the way it is.

how does this compare to eurocompulsion? Very curious about performance

@@AllThingsCars2006 awesome thank you. Waiting for warranty to run out before I go nuts haha
So there’s versions to this ecu flash I seen a version 2 on the Madness website, what would that improve?
The other version in more impactful as it actually will effect hp outputs and will rework the ECU more than this one does, so that will be more of your classic tune, where this is just a kind of OEM+ add on
Great content fam
What’s your opinion on Thorton chip performance? Are the claims true?
To be completely honest I’ve never heard of Thornton Chip performance, nor have I ever tested it, but I may look into it in the future
@@AllThingsCars2006 Can you do a review on it?
@EliteGrinderQV Perhaps I will, give me some time to do some research and maybe I’ll give it a try!
Thank you for making this video! Great content. We appreciate you
Of course!

Can we use these maps on multiple Giulia Or once this is used on 1 car it will be reused on the same every time ??
Unfortunately it is VIN locking, so it can only be used on one Giulia
where di you get your interior stickers ?
A lot of the add ons are actually from Amazon
Did alfa ever add carplay to the 2017?
Not to the 2017 model, however 2020+ models have it standard
Apple play is really simple to install after. I did in my Stelvio and tool only about 20min. Great upgrade
@Stelvisti is your stelvio 2018?? How did you get it done, please share if you can

Do you have a website link for the tune box..?
Thanks..👍
Check the description😁
You need to sort at the "Stop" sign.
Ok, what do you suggest I sort at the stop sign?
Only one way to know if the tune works. A Dyno.
I love my Alfa Romeo.
Me too!
I don't know if I'd pay $500 for a tune that didn't have a noticeable performance increase.
You definitely notice the responsiveness and the car does feel slightly quicker, there’s just no horsepower gain that’s all.

Did you say 116mph top speed? Where are you located, and what was the speed rating on your stock tires?
Top speed is 160mph and I had tires rated for about 150mph
these cars are good on paper, but then you see the engine only revs to 5k lmao, what the fuck was alfa thinking
Trust me they’re as good as the numbers say, but I do wish they would rev a little more
Alfisimo tune extends rpm limiter and adds 40 hp/60 lb ft of torque with tune you do yourself with email but costs double around $900
If you switch to manual shift these engines are amazing
True!

Hey what’s going on bro have a couple of questions do u happen to have ig ?
Yes my insta is tony.zarrella_06 feel free to contact me there!
WTF do you need 4.xx seconds to 100 anyway like 5 or 6 is not enough. Spoiled life.
5 seconds is definitely still quick, but who doesn’t want to go just a little quicker
